Fall/Winter Buzz books had SO many titles that I have not yet heard of and MANY of them I can't wait to read!!! Thank you so much for the opportunity to preview so many upcoming books!!!
Another great selection of samplers from a mixture of genres
I always look forward to these sneak peeks. The books that most interested me were The Dark Lake by Sarah Bailey, The Woman in the Window by A.J. Finn, Good Me, Bad Me, by Ali Land, and Seven Days of Us be Francesca Hornak.
As always, the seasonal previews are exciting, informational and a pleasure to read. It is fun to know what's forthcoming from authors and making sure I keep adding to my 'need to read ' list.
This was not my favorite edition of Buzz Books, but as always, I still found it to be a valuable resource in anticipated read excerpts. I was especially looking forward to the Celeste Ng book excerpt, and found several others that caught my attention for the fall and winter as well. Thank you for providing this copy! I look forward to each edition of Buzz Books.
Love the idea of being able to get a sneak peak at some new releases coming up.
Thank your for the special opportunity to preview publications for later this year. It is another one of the special gifts NetGalley provides its members. We are blessed!
Excellent - I'm hosting a podcast this evening to discuss books we are anticipating for the second half of the year - got some good ideas! Thanks
I love these compilations from Buzz Books. It is a very simple premise but it is brilliantly executed. Instead of just publishing a list of soon to be published books, you get the first chapter or an excerpt. It is a sort of bundled Kindle sample. But the clever part is that there are old favourites to draw you in, like JT Ellison and Celeste Ng, but there are also debut authors that you might not otherwise discover and then there's non-fiction that you wouldn't find on your own. Some excellent stuff here and I am particularly looking forward to reading Amy Tan's memoir having enjoyed the teaser.
How is it that I have barely given these a second glance before now?! I am kicking myself!! This issue is bursting at the seams with so many wonderful upcoming releases. I love the that the covers are included, as well as lengthly experts, and some even have "request now" links.
As soon as I've made a dent in my summer reading list, I will not only be adding quite a few to my tbr, but if there is an option, requesting them as well! Thank you so much NetGalley, being a serious tbr planner, this tool is exactly what I need!
Great way to see upcoming titles and get a sneak peek at the books. I've found a few books that are going to my TBR list and I'll be on the look out to read them when they are published.
Very excited about the Fall Winter book publishing world! Can't wait to get these beauties in my hands!
Very much interested in the Child Finder by Renne Denfield, the Woman in the Window by A.J. Finn and the Prague Sonata by Bradford Morrow.
Also tempted by Seven Days of Us by Francesca Hornak and Good Me Bad Me by Ali Land, but am holding off requesting for a little while.
Very helpful for looking at upcoming books, the excerpts are the perfect length to get an idea of a book before committing to reading it.
I received this book from NetGalley in exchange for a honest review. I've found so many books I must read!!
A most helpful guide to forthcoming books in the fall. I especially enjoyed the excerpts with the book from Gabrielle Union being a highly anticipated read. Also Celete Ng's novel looks like it will be a fall favorite for readers. Thanks Netgalley for making this buzz available.
I look forward to every Buzz Books release, they're always packed with variety and allow me to plan my reading months in advance. Everyone should read these!
I have already downloaded one story. I have also requested several others. Some of these stories were unknown to me before reading the excerpts.
J.T. Ellison's newest looks amazing & I'm intrigued by The Girl on the Velvet Swing & Sarah Bailey's The Dark Lake.
Buzz Books – Fall/Winter 2017 is full of ideas and titles for forthcoming books. There are way too many to list here, but you can get your own copy from Net Galley or Publishers Marketplace at http://buzz.publishersmarketplace.com/ Self-described as "filled with early looks at titles that will go on to top the bestseller lists and critics' 'best of the year' lists," there is information about new works by Louise Erdrich, Amy Tan, Bill McKibben, Celeste Ng, T.C. Boyle and others. Plus, a list of exciting debut novels! And did I mention authors like Dan Rather, Rich Cohen, Gabrielle Zevin, Hilary Rodham Clinton and more? Clearly, something for everyone – what a great way to encourage reading!
