Super excited for Warcross and Girls Made of Snow and Glass! I love when these samplers come out!
I love getting these previews!!!! These books give me a chance to see what is coming out soon and start my reading list. Thanks for publishing these!
It's always a pleasure to have the chance to learn about upcoming releases in this format.
Very informative. Great to get more information on upcoming books.
Very excited to get my hands on these books! Especially for Girls Made of Snow and Glass and Your One and Only! Really cool to get to taste the vibe of new books long before they come out.
Thank you to Netgalley, Publishers Lunch BUZZ BOOKS, Kathryn Berla, Jen Lancaster, Gregory Scott, Sara Holland, Kwame Alexander, Mary Rand Hess, Will Kostakis, Melissa Bashardoust, Jessica Pennington, Marie Lu, Tochi Onyebuchi, and Lauren Miller for the chance to read and review this ARC;
I am such a big fan of the Buzz Book previews, that give teachers, reviewers, and librarians the ability to place their fingers on the pulse of newest, bring up and comers about to drop into the scene. I love this volume, and it is my newest favorite of them.
I'm crazy interested and already looking most to get my hands on copies of Solo (by Hess & Alexander) given it's all written gloriously in evocative poetry, in Girls Made of Snow and Glass (by Bashardhoust) as a glorious gripping feminist retelling of the story of the well-beloved Snow White, and Warcross (Lu) who has taken the VR game land and given it a gripping new tale.
I can't wait to see, and all of these books, in the coming fall/winter!
Buzz Books once again compiles a great list of upcoming Young Adult releases for the fall/winter! I have a few more promising titles added to my TBR and I can't wait to read them!
**3.5 stars overall**
Not as great as the Spring/Summer collection, but still found some exquisite gems! Full review will be posted on my blog on May 22, 2017. Link will be provided once post is live.
I love when these come out, the only bad thing is what it does to my wishlist
I always love the Buzz Books samplers. I haven't been able to attend a Book Con yet, although I'm dying to go one day. These little samplers are great to get preview what the next big upcoming books are, especially when they feature some of my favorite authors or most anticipated releases. There are a couple books in this sampler that I'm kind of interested in. There isn't anything I absolutely have to have in this one at this point. However, I've had some must read books seriously disappoint me and some that I wasn't all that interested in really surprise me, so you never can tell until you give it a shot. I love getting to read samples of things I may not normally pick up or things I don't even know about.
I'm waiting this buzz book every year, it's great to have a snipet of the next big releases in YA. As always I like some of them and other a bit less.
Like always, as super helpful in finding information on upcoming releases. If you have trouble keeping up to date with the YA community these are a must!!
I'm very excited for Warcross and All Rights Reserved!
I found some new books to read from this collection and I can't wait to get to some of them. I would definitely recommend checking it out.
This annual excerpt anthology always gets me excited for things to come this Fall and Winter!
There are so many books in here that I'm looking forward to. I'm especially interested in Girls Made of Snow and Glass, All Rights Reserved, The Gatekeepers, and All Things New.
Thought this was really helpful and fun to look through. Lots of new books on my TBR now :)
Definitely interested in a lot of these releases. I'm reading an arc of Girls Made Of Snow and Glass right now, and it's just as fabulous as promised. Marie Lu's book and Marieke Nijkamp's book both look so amazing, and I was glad to get excerpts from them.
Aside from that, I enjoyed the excerpt Solo, which I hadn't heard of until now. I hope none of them disappoint.
Lot's of really interesting reads, great variety. Looking forward to all of the fantasy but also quite intrigued by the science fiction. Maybe I'll be branching out a bit in the winter.
