If there is one poem , okay make it two .. please do read "bottom Line" and "Truth" . Actually read every single one and you will find a piece of your heart in this book. Really good collection. Loved reading this.
I love the story this poetry collection told. From love to sadness to awakening, just beautiful.
It was a fairly quick read, although I did prolonged it because I was reading a few books at a time. This collection centers on love, love loss, and the road to recovery from a broken heart. Personally, I did not connect with it because believe it or not I've never been in a relationship, but I did feel a tug on my heartstrings as I read this.
The poems are rather simple and I feel like it could use a tiny bit more spark, for the lack of better word. I did find some to be quite repetitive, but there are a few that really got my attention. For example, In Hindsight.
"Darkness is a friend
We've been long acquainted
It was nice knowing your light
But I could not be mended.
Sadness is a cloak
I wear around my shoulders
You let the sun soak
On my skin to recover.
But the dark, it remains
And you were slowly fading
You bring the sun,
But it keeps on setting."

In a way I was able to relate to this due to my long lasting depression and the unfortunate drifting apart of a best friend.
Overall, it was okay it didn't move me as much as other poetry I've read recently, but it I did like a few of them. It may not be everyone's cup of tea, but I have heard it is similar to Lang Leav's poetry.
The Last Time I’ll Write About You is Dawn Lanuza’s first poetry collection and I loved it! The Last Time I’ll Write About You is a poetry collection about first love and the break up afterwards. This is the perfect collection because all the poems are so relatable.
The Last Time I’ll Write About You is such a beautiful poetry collection. I’m still new in the poetry genre but this is by far one of the best ones I have read. I cannot wait to read more of Dawn Lanuza’s work and here are the titles of my favourite poems:
Sunbeam
The Object Of My
Truth
And Now I’m Ruined
Consistency
6 A.M.
Other Means Of Communication
Unasked Question
Notice Of Eviction
The Pensieve

The Last Time I'll Write About You is a good poetry collection. It centers on love, break-ups and recovery from a broken relationship. The poems are simple and relatable. I must admit some of them are common and not as striking as I've thought, it's still a nice go-to poetry read.
This book shredded my heart into pieces. I believe that this book is the book that you should read to feel emotions at a higher level. I really suggest reading it especially if you liked the premise of the book before hand.
4 out of 5 stars
I thoroughly enjoyed this. I felt like I was going through a breakup. I felt such longing in her words. She reminds me so much of Lang Leav who is one of my favorite poets. I would definitely be interested in another poetry collection by her.
Wow! These poems spoke to me in such a deep level! I sometimes felt like the author knew my story and was just retelling it! Love is not easy and brake ups are not easy. I loved this collection of poems and truly recommend it!
I'm not familiar with this poet, but found I quite enjoyed the writing style. The cover design is good and would make me want to pick it up. The emotions described were very relatable and I found I sat down and read the book cover to cover.
If you've ever had you're heart broken, you'll be able to relate to this collection of poems and illustrations about losing love.
This was so boring. I really didn't enjoy any part of this. I was hopeful because I've enjoyed so many poetry books from Andrews Mcmeel so I was hoping I would really like it but oh boiiii was I wrong. It was just so extremely lackluster. None of the poems were pretty, emotional, or frankly in my opinion, well written. I felt like I was reading someone's diary and they were simply stating their feelings. It didn't flow. It wasn't lyrical. It was just flat and I just did not care at. all. The drawings also added NOTHING TO THIS BOOK. They just felt thrown in because so much modern poetry has it. I love me some good drawings in a poetry book, I'm honestly trash for it. But these were pointless, boring, and just felt like a filler. Overall, I know I'll come away after reading this remembering none of it and not feeling like it benefited me at all.
I received this ebook from NetGalley for my honest opinion
Dawn. Let me tell you gurl. You took me there and I'm unsure why you left me!!! Lol. I love these poems. They showed me that, yeah, there's heartache and a lot of tough times. But they are just mini hills that we have to get over. I appreciate you being able to put words to your feelings because reading poetry this is my therapy and helps me stay sane. Thanks again

Happy Reading
I devoured this. It's a quick/short read. I wish there were more!
This is a beautiful collection about words I wish I knew how to say. I love poetry, and poems about love / feelings that stem from love / loss is always something that a person can read and relate to. There are poems in here that felt like things that were written for me, or about things I am currently feeling / going through. I love that.
It's worth checking out, for sure. :)

Another book I was having fun reading them. I read this one only in one sitting. yeahh, I did. :)) When I read the very first page I thought "Ahhh this one would be such a heartbroken book to read". And it turned out it was. It was like a girl who just being 'dumped' by her boyfriend when she's head over heels the guy. I could feel it though.
I'm a girl, myself. So I know how it felt like. Hurts a lot !! Hell yeah.. Ahh, okay enough. I fell in love with the book since the very first word I read. I couldn't put it down, even only for seconds. So if you're looking for poetry books, this one would be very recommended !!
What a heart-twisting collection of poems. Each one carries a message that will hit anyone who has ever fallen in (and even out of) love to the core. If you're looking for something to tear you apart for a moment (haha), this is it. Get it, get it. In fact, I think I'll gift one of my best friends (who's going through a really tough breakup) an ebook of this because I think it might just help him overcome. It may also help you overcome.
This was a really beautiful collection of love themed poetry. It was lovely to work through in the week, and I'll definitely be rereading it to pick up on bits I missed first time
I don't know how to rate this tbh because while some pieces did hit me in the gut and heart, most of the time I'm just really underwhelmed with it, probably because the whole theme of heartbreak and yearning did not fit with my current state.
This is a collection of poems that take the reader through the journey of love and relationships. It starts from that flutter of the heart, to the pull, then the infatuation, the reality, the heartbreak and the acceptance after.
I loved these poems because I've been in love, I've been loved, heartbroken, remorseful, hopeful and I've also come to accept that love is not to be caged. There is one line that stuck with me because I've asked it so many times "When did we become such a bad idea?"
I'd recommend this to anyone who's ever been in love or who loves the idea of love. It's worth a read. I'm glad to have received a copy of this book from NetGalley. It gave me all the #feels.
Not for me. I know their is an audience out there for this kind of poetry, but I am not it.
