Wow, what a great collection. I don't really read poetry, I can appreciate it but I don't seek it out really, but I've read Dawn's novella and loove romance class books. And i've heard great things about this poetry collection, so when i heard it was up on Netgalley I figured ok, give this one a chance, what could it hurt?

And wow wow this was a quick read but these poems, i loved them! They show the progression of a relationship and heart breaaaaaaak! It resonated, and I definitely felt the emotions coming off the page

Also, while reading these I imagined them as songs cuz that's just how my brain works apparently. but truly, set these to music and let the sobbing begin. Not that they aren't emotional enough like this because they are! But i just read them like they were songs hehe

Enjoyed these alot!

I didn't think this book would break my heart more than it did the first, second, and third time I read it.

The revised and expanded edition of The Last Time I'll Write About You featured poems that tore my heart open and forced it to spill its deepest secrets that I tried to hard to keep within me.

I am not complaining.

I loved this book before, and I love it even more today. It's a knife I would stab on my chest over and over again because the more my heart bleeds, the more it heals.

It's amazing, how much of myself is in this book. So much that I almost feel like it was written for me. So much that it earned a rating I only give to books that mean so much to me.

An infinity symbol.
No, make that two.

The Last Time I'll Write About You is a poetry collection that will stay in my heart forever and whatever lies beyond that.

This is for those who gave love a chance and got hurt.
This is for those who gave love a chance and ended up broken.
This is for those gave love a chance-
-and tried again.

This debut collection of poetry delves into budding love as it progresses through its withering and eventual disintegration, providing a sense of closure for readers in its culmination.
