I really liked this light romance. Laurel is a young woman who wants to spend time with her dad, even if she has to work at his company in order to achieve that. Once there, she finds out that she is going to be an assistant to the interns and blue for who she thinks should get the scholarship money
As she starts her summer job, everybody treats her badly, she is the boss' kid after all. When weird things begin to happen, and all the interns, as well as Laurel, start getting and setting things around the office, they decide to team up. Not only is the company being attacked, but so are all of the interns. Learning about each other, while trying to solve who is behind the damaging information leaks, makes it hard for Laurel to pick one winner.
I don't want to give anything away, but the romance is so sweet and the guy that wants her is so patient. They aren't supposed to be together, but they still flirt. The checklist of rules is awesome and the ending, both the scholarship aspect and the relationship, were wonderful

I enjoyed this YA read very much! It's funny, whimsical, and lighthearted. Laurel is excited about getting to spend the summer working for with her dad. He's so busy she never gets to see him so this will be nice. She has no idea what she's really gotten herself in to. She's not only been brought in to assist four scholarship seeking interns but they also want her to spy on the interns and report back. At the end of the summer she is suppose to help decide the ultimate winner! Now she already has a strike against her with these guys being the daughter of the boss and all, how is she suppose to spend the entire summer with them??

This one reminded me of The Breakfast Club on a corporate level. It's a little bit sweet, a little bit silly, and a whole lot of fun. This is definitely a book I recommend to anyone who enjoys a sweet, clean contemporary YA read.

Spies, Lies, and Allies is one of those captivating novels that you begin reading and just can't put down.

Laurel is a photography-loving geek, into cos-play and Star Wars and all things Comic Con-cool. But she's smart without a lot of friends and doesn't seem to mind, because she has one really good one.

Her father, Dad Vader (after Darth), is organizing a scholarship for interns at his company, and Laurel begs him to let her be a part of it. Not that she needs the scholarships, but she could be a peer reviewer. The fact is that she really misses him and wants to spend time with him. Finally she breaks down his resistance. Only things don't turn out the way she thought they would. She's expected to spy and then vote on who should win.

There is so much to love about this novel that I don't know where to start. First off, one of the things I appreciated so much was the familial aspect. Laurel loves all of her family, and it's reciprocated. This is so, so nice. It's a tremendous change from all of the dysfunctionality that I've read lately. It exudes hope and love. Best of all is the relationship of Laurel and her dad. Erm. I'll stop here. I want you to read this and experience this for yourself and not have me give away things!

Now for Carlos. Sigh. Dimples and chocolate kiss eyes and smart and funny and serious and loyal and nice. Wrap him up, it's a go.

Plus we've got a mystery. Who is this person tweeting bad stuff? Is it an intern? I'm not telling.

Oh, and there's Breakfast Club interludes with dancing! In fact, the Breakfast Club comparisons are so on target that I couldn't help loving it even more.

There are people who seem awful, but then you find out their struggles and your heart breaks a little.

Spies, Lies, and Allies is a novel with a gooey center and a wonderful heart. It's the kind of novel we all need to read every once in a while to feel good and feel hope.

Laurel misses her father, who is a busy business owner. She convinces him to let her work with him, where he tasks her with picking an intern to give a full-ride college scholarship to. Laurel tries to be the best assistant to the interns, but it is a struggle to get to know them. Soon she beings developing feelings, both romantic and friendly, with the interns.

This was a solid romance, which readers younger than the characters. It is a safe, but romantic option for readers.

I did not know at all about this novel nor the author but I admit that I was immediately intrigued by the synopsis! I must say that I am very happy to have discovered this story because I really had a great time with it!

Laurel is a young girl who wants to go back to when she could spend time with her father. Since his company has grown up, she wants more than anything to spend time with him, but it is more difficult than expected. So here she has a plan, and working for him during summer would help her reach her goal! However, she did not expect to have to play the assistants for the students who participate to get a scholarship from the company, let alone to have double voice to decide on the winner. This last point does not please her at all! But as she gradually discovers the competitors, that she is particularly interested in one of the candidates, that they work together, she will develop more links with them. Links that tighten when they have to manage the right arm of her father, an intransigent and difficult man!

I really had a great time with this novel! I loved discovering Laurel and learning more about all the characters. On top of that, the author has thrilled the novel with references to Star Wars and it’s true that I loved it! It is well dosed, well brought and they made me smile several times! It’s a fresh reading, full of ideas and I loved the turn of the story at the end of the book. I was also curious to discover the person who was denigrating about the company on twitter.

You understand now that it is a novel that I really enjoyed!

4.25 Totally Adorable Stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟.25

I’ve read quite a few books this week that were dark and had very unlikable characters, so I needed a pallet cleanser and this was perfect... fun, filled with lovely characters, a positive message, romance, and friendship.... nothing makes me smile quite like a good contemporary YA even though I am no longer part of that target audience... nor have I been for a very long long time.... but I am still young at heart!

Laurel knows the only way she will get to see her workaholic father this summer is to intern at his company... The company is hosting a scholarship competition for the interns this summer, so Laurel’s father decides that she can assist the interns.... Laurel and her dad have a good relationship.... dad is just a workaholic and not around as much as Laurel would like.... it was lovely to see positive Family relationships.... Laurel got along well with both her parents and her older sister.... Laurel also had a fabulous BFF named Lexi.... so this book checked off two boxes for me, when it comes to YA books... positive female relationships and good parenting.... but those weren’t the only boxes this book checked off....

Laurel was a smart girl with a bit of a nerdy side.... she was very into science fiction/fantasy and there were a lot of Star Wars references in this book.... I loved how the relationship between all the interns evolved throughout the summer... I especially loved the friendship between Laurel and Trisha, it was wonderful that two people that appeared so different had so much in common.... I also adored the romance between Laurel and Carlos.... Carlos was such a great guy, but what I like even more was that he was not perfect.... and he did something towards the very end of this book that was just so sweet....

So we have the adorable romance and the beautiful friendships, but we also got a bit of a mystery.... someone was trying to sabotage the company on Twitter... so the interns got all Scooby Doo on us and solve the mystery.... although there was no mystery machine?

Absolutely recommend this to people of all ages when you are in the mood for a fun charming Red... and if you are a parent wondering if this is appropriate or not, I’d say 12 and up, this was a pretty clean read...

*** thank you so much to the publisher and Net Galley for a copy of this book ***

PS: loved all laurels nicknames for people the Manicotti being my favorite! But I also enjoyed Chocolate Eyes and Vader...

Disclaimer: I received a ARC from Netgalley. Thanks to the publisher and the author!

Well, I was surprised... in a very good way! I enjoyed the book so much because theres many type of relationships :father-daughter, colleague-colleague, boss-employer/intern and so on.
All characters were captivating in their way, especially because many times we came to know about how they ended up working at the company... and also, though the whole twitter slander was very superficial (there was no suspense, since I already knew who was the culprit at the start), I loved how the interns decided to unite to discover who was framing the company.
AND ALSO, LAUREL AND ELIJAH? The best duo ever! I'm also a geek, so I always smiled or laughed when one of them delivered lines from Star Wars or referred to some series and movies to people. Such cute dorks. <3
Okay, I'm happy to have read Spies, Lies and Allies because its a light book, perfect for a "relax" time...

**Review is scheduled on blog for my date on the blog tour - 4/30**

Spies, Lies, and Allies had me a laughing, sighing swooning mess! This was such an adorable book and it almost had a Breakfast Club feel to it at times, which I absolutely loved! When I finished that last page, I realized that Lisa Brown Roberts has become one of my favorite authors. Each time I pick up a book by her, I not only fall in love with the characters and story line, but I always have the hugest smile on my face while I'm reading. I did just that with Spies, Lies and Allies and I can't recommend it enough!

“Did anyone ever tell you your eyes look just like Hershey’s Kisses?”
Omigod. That was my outside voice.

In hopes of spending more time with her dad, Laurel Kristofferson got a job at his company over the summer. She would be assisting the new interns and at the end of the project she would help vote for which intern would win a $100k scholarship. You guys.... I loved Laurel right from the start! Yes she was Star Wars obsessed, huge heads up about that, but she had me laughing from the nicknames she gave people, to her Facebook stalking, to her reactions to something as simple as someone else leaving notes in her notebook. But she was so much more than a teenage girl who made me laugh. I felt as though I got to grow up right along side her. So many of her feelings and insecurities took me back to moments in my past where I felt just like her.

I sneak a peek at Carlos. If I had to vote today, I’d vote for him. He was so passionate when he spoke, and he did so much research and he— he— My brain shuts off as he raises his head and meets my gaze, one corner of his delicious mouth quirking up.
Delicious ? What is wrong with me?

There was four summer interns - Carlos, Elijah, Ashley and Jason - competing for the scholarship. And alongside them was Trish, whose father worked at the company. They were all so different from one another and their first project was to work together as a team. They had rocky moments with each other, especially Trish and Laurel. But we watched as they tried to put aside their differences and take those first few awkward steps to form a friendship. It wasn't easy and mistakes were definitely made along the way. But I loved watching them all figure out how to mesh together as a team. It was so entertaining and smile inducing!

I’m indignant , but my body is also buzzing from the adrenaline of this… this whatever we’re doing. Are we just joking around? Or are we flirting? Whatever it is, I don’t want it to stop. But it has to. I’d never forgive myself if he was disqualified because of me.

When Laurel was at work, she constantly found herself drawn to Carlos. They could joke so seamlessly together, but it always had this undercurrent of electricity. Sparks flew any time Laurel and Carlos were around each other and I found myself gripping onto every word they said to each other. It made me feel like I was falling in love for the first time, all over again. But nothing could happen between them. There was a no fraternizing rule at work and if it was broken Carlos would get kicked off the team and lose his opportunity for the scholarship. Sigh. I have to say that Carlos was so easy to love. He was thoughtful, smart, and such a hard worker. He also stood up for Laurel and every once in a while a little bit of jealously would peak through. I loved everything about him. But Laurel? She could be so clueless at times since she didn't have much experience with boys.

“And you’re a lot smarter than I thought you were.” An ironic smile curves her lips. “You’re still a princess, but you’re more of a Fiona than a Sleeping Beauty.” - Trish to Laurel

There was so many hidden gems in this story about friendships and family relationships. I absolutely loved the interactions between Trish and Laurel. Trish could be so bitchy towards Laurel and they seemed like polar opposites. Yet I loved watching Laurel find her backbone and I have a feeling that a lot of people are going to love this part of the story! But I also loved watching her relationship with her dad develop. It was funny, awkward, and had moments of hurt and love all rolled together. Laurel and her dad came to become one of my favorite father/daughter relationships in any book I've read. It warmed my heart and there was so much emotion between the two of them. So if you adore relationships outside of the couple, you are definitely in for a treat!

“But we’re not supposed to fraternize. Rule number eight. Remember all the exclamation points?”
He takes a long sip of water, so I take the opportunity to stare at his mouth.
“I see rules as suggestions.” He sets his glass on the table and his lips take their sweet time curving into a tempting smile.

There is so much I'm not even touching on, but pick up this book and you'll discover my love for Elijah, or the ridiculous daily jokes Laurel told Miss Emmaline or even the mystery that was in this story. But my favorite thing was that I couldn't make it more than a few pages without busting out laughing or having the hugest grin on my face. And I won't ever forget how a scene towards the end made me cry. I absolutely loved Spies, Lies and Allies! So if you adore YA Romance, you definitely have to give one of her books a try!

I wish I was like Rey in The Force Awakens , brave and tough. Or Princess Leia, snarky and brilliant. But right now, I feel like a young Anakin Skywalker, when no one thought he was capable of piloting his own Podracer, let alone winning a race.

PS I have to give a heads up that there were A LOT of Stars Wars references, she even calls her dad Vader. And at first I was definitely confused. You see, I've seen six of the movies but that was forever and a day ago. And besides kinda knowing the characters names and what they looked like, that's it. Yup, sorry lol. So when we kept getting Stars Wars references I thought this book may not be the best fit for me. But I was completely wrong. Even if there were probably a few things I completely missed....I totally had to Google stuff like Alderaan....I still loved every single minute of it. Oh I didn't get the Harry Potter references too. Yes I know I'm an awful human being lol. But hey I got The Big Bang Theory reference ha!

PPS There were a few moments between Carlos and Elijah that I would have died to be able to know what they were saying!! Does anybody else feel that way too??

***I received an E-ARC from NetGalley and Entangled Publishing in exchange for an honest review. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.***

Spies, Lies, and Allies is another fun read from Lisa Brown Roberts!

First things first, I would like to wholeheartedly agree with Laurel (the heroine of this book), that Bonnie Brae ice cream in Denver is definitely the best. 100%. No question. Now that that’s out of the way, here is my review:

Spies finds Laurel Kristoff, photographer and self proclaimed Star Wars geek, wanting to intern at her Dad’s company for the summer in order to spend some more time with him. But the summer provides much more than Laurel could ever possibly imagine, in the form of a Breakfast Club style posse of unlikely friends, a mystery to solve, and one very sweet romance. In the middle of what is sure to be an unforgettable summer, Laurel not only gets to know her Dad and his company better, but discovers a keen sense of self and the strength to be boldly who she is, no matter what.

I loved the diversity of the characters in this book. I will say that at times Laurel drove me nuts. I found myself struggling with her lack of confidence in herself and her inability to communicate clearly at times. I just wanted her to fight for what she wanted and be confident in who she was and what she had to offer. Thankfully, Laurel realizes these things about herself and I enjoyed watching her journey as she learns to channel her inner Princess Leia. (I should mention that there are a lot of Star Wars references in this book). I also loved Carlos (and the sweet dynamic between him and Laurel), as well as the other interns she worked with. Although I would have to say that my favorite dynamic of all would have to be the one between Laurel’s family, especially between her parents.

Spies, Lies, and Allies is another fun YA read from Lisa Brown Roberts, full of the quirky characters we’ve come to know and love from her, as well as the swoon-worthy heroes. I loved the overall message that everyone is valuable and worth fighting for, and that you should always be yourself. The message that we should always take the time to get to know someone else (especially those different from us), and treat them with respect, is such an important one. I love that Laurel learned to embrace who she was without changing to fit in. She was a heroine in her own right, and I believe both Leia and Rey would be proud.

I really loved this book. I normally a sucker for books set around a internship or in a office and this book fit this bill. I also love books with crew of characters they you learn more about the course of the book. I really loved all the main characters in this story. I found Laurel to be a character after my own heart. I loved her and felt like I could "be" her and I really just loved following her. This book was such a fun read but also a more emotional read. I just was so impressed by it. I will def be checking our more stuff by this author. This book was also had a romance that made me swoon and this book just put a smile on my face!

This was a cute book that focused on family bonds. I was entertained through the whole book. The characters were somewhat likeavkw at times, and other times I couldn’t stand them. I thought it was written very well.

I went into this book thinking that it was going to remind me of "Veronica Mars" or other crime/mystery teen novels. However, I was wrong. In fact, it was even better than what I expected.

The main character in the novel is a geeky teen who is fond of Star Wars, reading books, and fandoms in general. She tries to solve the mystery on who was trying to sabotage her father's company. Along the way, she meets Carlos and other interns (in her dad's company) as her summer job. I enjoyed how the story progresses because of the relationships throughout the novel. Friendships were strengthened despite their differences (think "The Breakfast Club). Also, the father-daughter relationship was probably my favorite in the story as it was the catalyst that influenced Laurel (the main character) to come out of her shell. Additionally, the father-daughter moments can be relatable for many people.

My only gripe with the story was the fact that the mystery was kind of predictable and ridiculous. I just couldn't take it seriously. However, since this IS a romantic comedy type of novel, I don't think the mystery is the focus of the story. The emphasis was placed on the romance. I liked what Lisa did with the romance because it was hilarious and it did put a smile on my face. Actually, this was not my first Lisa Brown Roberts novel. I think the author is a gifted writer when it comes to romantic comedy. I notice how she always manages to crack me up. Hence, I would recommend this novel (and her other works) to those who needs a 'pick me up' and to those who enjoy romantic comedy stories.

**Huge thanks to the publisher for giving me the opportunity to read this book in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts are my own!

I really enjoyed this story. The family dynamic of Laurel and her family as well as the dynamic at her fathers office for the summer was interesting and at times contradictory. I can most liken this book to the Mary-Kate and Ashley movie from my childhood, When in Rome. I loved all the references to nerd culture and the movie quotes, Laurel is a captivating character and the relationship with her father had me laughing and crying. I found the sudden mystery in the middle of the story jarring, but otherwise I loved the pacing and plot of this summer romance.

There is a reason why Lisa Brown Roberts is slowly but surely becoming one of my favorite YA authors. Her stories are just amazing, the settings are great and her characters always become my favorites.

So let's talk about the setting. I loved it. I loved the whole internship/scholarship scenario. Cause it brought together so many great characters, that probably never would have become friends, if it wasn't for that special circumstance and the bond they now share while going through all the ups and downs of their internship.

Which brings me right to the characters. I loved them. I loved every single one of them. Firstly, Laurel, the main characters. (Fun fact, give me a Laurel in any book, tv show or movie, and I will probably love her.) I loved her right from the start. She's a fangirl just like me. To the pain of the people around me, I always find a tv show or movie reference to every situation in life. Sorry, not sorry.
I loved the other interns as well. I loved Trish, she was everything I want to be. I loved Ashley. And the dudes, Elijah, Carlos and Jason. Jason just was that hurt little puppy that I wanted to protect at all costs.

There were also some great relationships. I loved Laurel and her parents, especially her dad, since we got more of that relationship. I loved their car rides and how Laurel came around and saw that her father and his company aren't anything evil.
Right from the beginning of the book, the first time the interns met, I wanted nothing more from this book, than lots of amazing friendships. Especially Laurel and Trish. Both had so many prejudices towards each other, that's why I wanted them to get over that and become the great friends, that I knew they could be. I especially loved moments when the whole group was together, the fussball tournament, the time when they all got locked into the basement. I loved these moments, thats when they really came together and started to really get to know each other and became a great time and good friends. I'm always here for that.
And of course the lovestory of Laurel and Carlos. It's something that we all knew would happen but I still enjoyed it a lot. They had some really great chemistry. Sometimes they were frustrating, especially Carlos, when he got jealous of Jason and was just a jerk. I also loved meeting Carlos' family, they were such a fun bunch.

Overall, I truly loved this book and can totally see myself reading this one a few more times. On a side note, I also really wanna read the book Laurel was reading in the story, I wanna get to know Qa'hr myself.

This book could be described using many of my favorite adjectives: fun, cute, adorable, heartwarming, but what stood out for me, was the focus on family and friendship.

Laurel wanted a position at her father's firm, because she missed him. She thought, if they worked together, they would have the drive into the city and back, and perhaps a lunch date here and there. She was looking to renew the bond between them, and that just tugged on my heartstrings. I liked Laurel's family a lot, and you could tell they shared a tremendous affection for each other. This was her attempt to cram some family time into this last year before she left for college, and I thought that was fantastic.

I am also a fan of the friendship that developed between the interns. It was not an easy road to friend status, but it's amazing how fast people can bond, when faced with adversary. Brown gave us a diverse cast of interns, who came from very different backgrounds, and had very different interests from each other. I liked that they could see past their differences and find common ground. The author puts them in a Breakfast Club-esque situation, and even has the characters discussing who's who from the film. The scene was quite amusing, and among one of my favorites.

I always enjoy Entangled books, but I have certain expectations when it comes to their books. I read them for the feel-good romances. And yes, this book was feel-good and had a romance, but there was not enough of it. What a shame too, because I loved the romance she set up, and would have loved to have seen more of it.

If you want to get your nerd on, look no further. Laurel and her dad are HUGE Star Wars fans. In the beginning of the book, I was worried, because I felt bombarded by the references, but it did ease up as the story started moving ahead, and I will admit, I smiled the entire time we were at Comic Con.

Overall: A delightful story of family and friendship, sprinkled with a romance, which left me in a feel-good way.

This should have been a 3 1/2 star. The book does have pop references which I love. It is a mix of the Breakfast Club (it even references this in the book) and The Apprentice, teenage and less vicious style. The story revolves around Laurel and the interns who are competing at her father's company. We get to see into the interns' lives a little but it does go more in depth with Carlos because he is Laurel's love interest. The romance in this is slight for the majority of the book. Laurel does not gush over him like I thought she would when we first met her and her feeling for Jason, one of the interns that goes to her school. Laurel's relationship with her father is one extreme to another. I really liked their father/daughter times together. Overall it was a good read it just didn't draw me in as much as I would have liked. I received an ebook at no charge for which I voluntarily provided an honest review.

#NetGalley #SpiesLiesandAllies
Thank you to NetGalley and Entangled: Teen for the E-ARC copy of this novel. My opinion is my own and I appreciate the ability to review the material.
After initially starting the book, I almost stopped. Laurel has real issues with how she feels about her father's company in the book. She is young and after really thinking about how young people think, I went back. She sees her father as this very domineering type figure, who cares little about the people is business effects. As the story progresses, we find out that corporate spies are involved with the company and Laurel becomes involved with "unmasking" them. Lisa Brown Roberts has a done an excellent job of making Laurel's voice that of a young lady with little work experience. She had a very black and white construct of how the world should be and work. I think this is actually a wonderful novel for young adults because it lets them know that not everything is so one sided in the business world. I really enjoyed the novel the more I read.

The Breakfast Club meets The Apprentice. One summer to change fate.

Laurel is a huge Star Wars fan and has an overactive imagination. She's a super nerd with all the charms that go with it. She's funny, smart and desperate to spend more time with her dad. He is always busy and trying to run a successful business. He is missing the important milestones in her life and she's come up with a plan to get more time with him. Laurel convinces her dad to let her help out with the interns for the summer. The best candidate will get a chance to win a college scholarship and Laurel is the inside man who will help them choose the winner.

The interns get off to a rocky start. Jason is late and doesn't remember Laurel at first, even though they go to school together. He's a jock and fairly stereotypical. Laurel's hoping Jason has an inner geek but she will have to settle for sweet.

Then there is the supermodel artist girl (Ashley), Trish who's crazy Dad already works for the company, the good looking smart accountant wannabe (Elijah) and Carlos who knows too much.

The team are opposites and would have never made friends if it wasn't for the intern.

The competition gets a little out of hand but everyone wants the prize. Well except Trish. The stakes are high and everyone is super ambitious. As we look at these chapters we see more than the pretty model.

Laurel's dad sets a few rules for the interns. Just some basic office protocols. One rule is to not date your co-workers or they will be disqualified. Laurel never hoped to find a summer romance or friendships. The summer has highs and lows but it all pulls together in the end.

Spies, Lies and Allies is a charming witty read. It's for the inner geek. Laurel is a huge Star Wars fan and uses references in everyday life. I like Star Wars but I'm not a die-hard fan and at times the references got a little much. Laurel is a character that grows on you. She's fun and a complete dork. She's totally lovable in the end.

Sassy writing style and some eye-rolling jokes. Great book. 4 stars out of 5.

Mini review:

I received this E-ARC via Entangled Publishing and Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. When I had initially head about Spies, Lies, and Allies there was a completely different synopsis. That synopsis drew me in. Naturally when I spotted Spies, Lies, and Allies on Netgalley I didn't hesitate to request it. I'm glad that I read it!

When I had first start reading, I was positive that I was going to DNF it. Laurel was utterly annoying. Her constant use of 'Dad Vader' made me uncomfortable. This was not an affectionate term. Laurel honestly believed her father's company was evil. She was immature and quick to judge. Out of curiosity to see who won the scholarship I read on. I'm happy I did so as Laurel improved and the rest of the interns lives kept me going. They all had a good relationship with one-another.

Spies, Lies and Allies really surprised me. The romance was done well. There was quite a bit of tension with Laurel and Carlos. They made a great couple. The mystery aspect while predictable served it's purpose off bringing everyone together. Laurel and her father work out their issues. Also there is diversity!

I'm not giving a higher rating considering my issues in the beginning. That definitely sucked out most of the experience.

All in all this was a feel good book. If you can get past Laurel's initial attitude then I would highly recommend.

A sweet YA contemporary with a dash of romance thrown in!

Laurel is a sci-fi/fantasy nerd who loves Star Wars. She wants to spend more time with her Dad and convinces him to hire her for the summer at his company to help a batch of interns competing for a scholarship. She finds, though, that the job isn't exactly what she expected.

While I love a good romance, it was nice to read a book in which it wasn't the sole focus. Really, I felt like the author focused more on family, friendship, loyalty, and the difficulties of growing up.

Laurel is a fun narrator. She's definitely a bit immature, but what teenager doesn't have a thing or two to learn? I really liked her nerdy side and that she calls her dad Vader because of their shared love of Star Wars.

I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a fun, sweet read, and I will definitely be checking out other books by the author!
