This was a super cute comic based on the every day interactions of a couple in love. I loved this so much! It cheered me up and lifted my spirit just when I needed it. If you're a fan of illustrations in the vein of Sarah's Scribbles, you'll love this!
I recieved an arc of this collection from NetGalley for review. I also purchased my own copy! This collection is completely adorable. I have been a follower of Catana Comics for quite a while now. I love owning our own collection. My bearded husband loved it as well! All in all, 4.5 stars from us. We wish that there was a little more content that was brand new to is though.
I've been a fan of Catana Comics for a while, following them on Instagram. I've enjoyed the sweet, relatable comics for a long time, especially since I am short and have only dated tall people. Little Moments of Love is a cute collection, but being a fan, I had read most of them before. Still, it was fun to look back through my favorites, and if someone was unfamiliar with the comic, it's a great introduction. I think it would make a great gift for a favorite couple, or a sweet gift for an anniversary.
Thanks to NetGalley for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
What a super sweet collection of comics! The artist captures the adorably silly side of couples in love. This will be an ideal book to draw impulse purchases from lovebugs at the register!
A wonderful collection of comics by the darling Catana Chetwynd, showcasing the quirky side of love. Whether you fully relate, or are still waiting on that special someone to enter your life, giggles can be let loose throughout this collection.
I feel like this would be great to flip through with a significant other, snuggled up on the couch. Or, it can be read alone. Even if you don't relate to everything, it's still a fun and silly book and a great way to pass time.
THIS BOOK IS ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE! I adore the illustrations and every little thing about this book is incredibly cute and I hope my future relationship is like Catana and John’s. I adore every comic I’ve seen from Catana Comics and I hope Catana continues creating these amazing and adorable comics.
A book filled cover-to-cover with exactly what it promises: Little Moments of Love. It was cute and enjoyable, but I think I'd prefer reading these short comics in snippets on instagram or on greeting cards. Definitely on greeting cards.
Oh my gawwwwwwwwwwwwd.
This book would make a perfect gift for every ridiculously adorable couple you know. Like, just looking at them makes you want to slap them for being so adorable.
Catana Chetwynd started making these comics specifically for her boyfriend, and he encouraged her to publish them. And they're effing. adorable.
SRSLY. So cute, so funny, so loveable.
This was just so sweet, and really - all of these comics are the ultimate version of "relationship goals." I've seen some of these pop up on popular social media sites (Tumblr, for example), and it's clear why they are so popular - they're adorable, and relatable. It's a fast, fun read, and I was definitely glued to my tablet, wanting more. I wish it had been a little longer, but at the same time it keeps me wanting more rather than dealing with the whole "too much of a good thing" issue. I will definitely be recommending this for purchase by my library system.
This collection is so adorable! I could totally relate to so many of the illustrations, nodding my head in agreement and laughing along as I turned the pages. I had to stop reading to show my husband the illustration for "How He Argues vs. How I Argue" because it described us to a T! I enjoyed this cute, quick read, and I believe it would make a great gift for Valentine's Day or even anniversaries. Thank you Catana for illustrating everyday musings in relationships in such a sweet, creative way.
Little Moments of Love is a collection of adorable drawings about a couple and the many ways they go though out their daily life. Some of the comics take on the famous expectation versus reality internet theme, which is always hilarious, others show how Catana loves John and the many ways she enjoys spending time with him.
While a cute idea, and certainly fun if you are viewing one or two a day, it’s hard to sit down and read the whole thing through. This is definitely suited as an online comic. Fans of this quirky couple are going to want to pick up the collection though to have on their shelf.
There is no fixed way to love someone and the moments that make you fall in love with a person are sometimes so small that they may seem unsignificant to other people. I'm really happy to have read those moments between Catana and John.
it really did make me feel warm and fuzzy inside
This was so friccin cute. And it becomes sweeter when you remember that this was experienced by two very real people and not just some imaginary scenes.
The design was very minimalistic but it fit the tone overall, which was perfect. It included some cliche things that were expected, but I was happy to see it in Chetwynd's style and perspective. She put a lot of her own twists from her personal experiences which made it extra unique.
It was either very relatable or it was something that you can imagine happening to yourself.
Some of the drawing were actually humorous and some were a bit more serious and deep which I appreciated. It was really diverse in terms of topics, like: growing old together, thankfulness, daily routines, expectations and realities, etc. The moments that I saw also did not seem to appeal to just women to relate to, despite the author being a woman herself, it also seems like something men would also find an enjoyable read.
It did not stick to just one theme and it never revolved around one thing which, if you think about it, is the real essence of love.
Adorbs! And I could relate to so many: touching my hubby's face with freezing hands, the tickling, the sides of the bed diagram, the impossibility of sharing an umbrella when you're different heights, the differing shower temperatures...the list goes on! <3
Very true to life. Kept bothering my boyfriend while we were reading in bed and saying, "Look, it's us!" almost every other page. Warm and fuzzy and wonderful.
I received a digital ARC from the publisher via NetGalley.
Catana Chetwynd started drawing comics about her and her boyfriend just for him. Soon she was sharing them online as Catana Comics and grew a following. Little Moments of Love is her first book collecting the comics, and it is sooooooo sweet!
Her comics capture the everyday things of being in love — from trying to reach her (very tall) boyfriend’s lips, to drowning in his sweatshirt; from couch snuggles to professions of wedding bells because he woke up early to make her coffee.
The drawings are simple and cute, and the dialogue is perfect.
Pick up this book if you need a light, fun read.

"Little Moments of Love is a sweet collection of comics about the simple, precious, silly, everyday moments that make up a relationship."
I have been seeing some of these cute little comics via social media and immediately loved them. I was so excited to find out a book was being made. The drawings in this book, again, so cute! Cuteness all around!
I received this title via the publisher and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
An absolutely adorable graphic novel that had me smiling from ear to ear on every page. Must read for anyone looking for a lifted mood.
Little Moments of Love is yes, without a doubt, a collection of these sugary moments of love. I've been seeing Catana's works online before and I was surprised that she has now published this as a full book. What I love about this one is how it's so cutteeee and can make you warm and fuzzy on the inside. Such mundane acts can really feel so much more when you're with the one you love. I fairly love the entirety of this comic book but I don't really feel the need to buy it or reread it for that matter. Congratulations though to the author for finally making it to a full comic book, readers will surely love. This is a free ARC from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
I was so excited to see that this book was being published, I love Catana'swork and this certainly didn't disappoint. Funny, heartwarming, and so incredibly relatable, I cannot wait to own a physical copy of this.
If you don’t recognize the name Catana, you would probably still recognize the cute little odd-couple moments comics. I love the backstory behind the invention of the comics—how Catana started drawing their little relationship moments for her boyfriend and he encouraged her to put them on the internet. Both were surprised to find out how many odd, happy couples could relate to it. Less than 2 years after drawing the first comic, she has now compiled them into a book. Instead of just texting or sharing a comic to your significant other to say “Hey, that’s us”, you can now get them a “thinking of you” book. I received this as an electronic ARC from NetGalley so I am not sure what size the hardcopy will be. The drawings are pretty simple and some of the topics were repetitive, but it’s the thought that counts. This should bring smiles.
