Review to come in May on all sources mentioned in my profile.
I received this book from Netgalley in exchange of an honest review!
This just looked too adorable, too cute, and I just had to read it. Plus I always love reading about cute couples doing cute things.
I believe I may have read a few of these comics before, her artstyle seems familiar as are a few of the comics I read! No clue where I found them, maybe Twitter.
This comic tells us of the daily life of Catana and her boyfriend and how much they love each other. It was really way too adorable and cute, but at times I couldn't help but laugh at a few scenes. They really are so sweet together.
Not only that, there were also quite a few things that were relatable/recognisable to me. Like the buttsense (a very very important sense to have), but also stealing his clothes, having to ask him to bend down so I can kiss him (we have a 32/33cm difference). And also things like when we first started dating and how it is now after years are things I also do/wonder about/makes me happy. I just love it while reading books/comics that I can say: OMG we do the same thing! OMG that is the same for me!. :) It definitely makes me love something even more.
The art is the only thing I am not sure about. Not saying it is bad! Not at all, but, arghh, I am not sure how to say this the right way. I think it may have to do with the giant round eyes. :P
All in all this is one cute as heck comic book and I would definitely recommend it to everyone in need for some love, romance, and cuteness!
Ok, soooo do heart eye emojis count as a full and thorough review? I have been excited about this book since I very first heard it was going to be coming out. I must say- I was not disappointed. At all.
I follow Catana Comics on Instagram and Facebook, and LOVE all of these cute little comics. They are adorable, relatable and funny. I cannot recommend this book enough. Such cute snapshots of life in a relationship. It is just as quirky and silly as being in a relationship. I love love loved it.
Loved this super cute collection of random comics about being in love and spending time with your soulmate. This would make a great Valentine's Day gift.
Already a fan of Catana Comics, this collection of Catana's LITTLE MOMENTS OF LOVE really captures some of her best comics to date, as well as some new ones I'd not yet seen but really enjoyed. Her comic's are relatable to those of us in a long term relationship with the perfect person for us and are adorable.
This was seriously just so cute. I love these comics whenever I see them pop up on Facebook, and this collection did not disappoint. Highly recommend! I screen shotted a bunch of pages just to show my boyfriend too.
Such cute comics! I love the drawing style and the little stories are adorable, touching, funny and relatable.

Please follow me on my blog :) Review originally posted on Vellum Voyages (www.vellumvoyages.com)
I've seen some of these comics floating around the internet and when I got an opportunity to read them in a whole collection, I seized it!
This is a very very cute representation of Catana and John's (her boyfriend) daily life, love and relationship. It's mainly cute little stories of their bond with each other and you can tell they are very much a young couple in love and totally in sync with one another.
Read it for some cute relationship goals and all the warm fuzzies of being in love :)
*Thank-you Catana Chetwynd, Netgalley & Andrews McMeel Publishing for the ARC.
I love this adorable web comic, it is so relate-able because this is totally stuff I have done to poor JT a lot. Except he is not a beardy-face like John is, which is how I like it.
4.5/5
It was such a cute little book!! I loved the drawings, and I found some drawings very relatable. A very quick read, and a perfect one if you need some cuteness in your life!
I have been a huge follower of Catana Comics on Instagram for some time now, so when I so that they were doing a book, I just had to read it. I mostly currently plan to purchase a copy for myself and probably several others for gifting. Their comics are real and relatable in a very loving and unique way. It shows a healthy quirky relationship. She has a very distinctive art style that I was immediately drawn to. It is the perfect balance of sweet, funny, and personable. I always look forward to each new comic she releases. Even though there was only a few that I hadn't seen before, I still loved seeing them all together as a collection and sort of like a progression throughout their life. I have nothing but love for this book!
I've been a fan of Catana's series for a while and have followed her wherever I can. She's an artist to watch. The drawings may be simplistic but they're very stylized and adorable. The best part is her writing. The way that she captures the little funny and sweet bits of her relationship always warms the heart. They're honestly pretty safe for kids although I'd say, interest-wise, I'd probably go tweens and up. There are some sexual connotations but that's as far as it goes. Honestly, this is an author and artist that I love and can't wait to see what else she comes up with!
I would like to thank the publisher, author, and Netgalley for providing me with a copy in exchange for an honest review.
I love this artist and her comics. When I read then it makes me think of little wonderful things I enjoy in my own relationship.
I really loved Little Moment of Love. Catana Chetwynd shows relationship is a truthful light engaging the reader. "He I do That!" " That's totally me!" These are things I said over and over reading this book. Funny, insightful and light-hearted, this book of comics is delightful and a great read.
I like seeing these cartoons online, and now I get to see what I missed as they are gathered into a book. I love these cartoon because they remind me of my relationship, even though the roles are switched. I would be the guy and Josh would be the girl. I think everyone can find something of themselves in these strips. Plus, the warm fuzzy feeling it gives the reader is an added bonus. If you are having a down day and need a pick-me-up, pick up this book and gloom-be-gone.
I follow Catana on Facebook so I was excited to get this book. I liked the new comics which have not been posted previously as well as the ones I'd seen before. This book is so sweet and would be a great gift to couples on anniversaries, engagements or weddings.
I follow Catana on Facebook. Many days I annoy my husband by sending him screen shots of the days comic, because they so perfectly capture our relationship. We will be married 25 years this fall. I was ecstatic when I heard Catana was doing a book. I am definitely purchasing a copy for my collection and some for gifts.
I've previously seen these cute comics on the internet and they always felt relatable with my significant other. When I saw there was a BOOK based on this cute couple, I knew I had to read it!
I've been in a terrible book slump and this was just what I needed to cheer me up! It's a quick read, it's adorable, it's funny, it's relatable, and well... it's everything I hope to be and share with my significant other. This book will make a great gift!
This collection makes my millennial heart happy! I've seen enough interactions of my friends in relationships to know just how true to life these little vignettes are; I truly see one of my best friends and her fiancé in a number of these comics.
I love Catana's adorably sweet comics. They're the kind that make you want to snuggle the ones you love closer and tell them how good they are.
I love seeing Catana Comics on Facebook so when Netgalley had the ebook, I was so excited! These comics are just darling and sweet. A reminder of how great life can be when people just get you. I loved revisiting comics that I had already seen and reading new ones!
I seen some of these comics before online - mostly on Buzzfeed. This book was a collection, almost all of which I've never seen before. The art style is super cute, and I really enjoy it, and the subject is really cute too - little relationship moments. Its a cute, fast read, and great if you like this sort of thing.
I received a copy of this from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
This was such a fun and adorable read. I couldn't wipe the smile off my face while I was reading it even though I'm forever alone and couldn't find myself in most of these. It's great to see their everyday little exchanges of love and to see how happy they make each other. I've seen these comics around internet and always chuckled while reading them so it made me really happy to get e-arc of this cute collection and I would be lying if I said I didn't google them the second I finished reading it. I really enjoyed and would recommend it to anyone looking for a romantic quick read
I've been following Catana Comics for a while online, and if there is any one webcomic that so commonly perfectly depicts my relationship with my significant other, it's this one. Catana manages to draw such precious little scenes that I genuinely think almost anyone who's ever been in, or is currently in, a happy and healthy relationship can relate to, whether it's missing your significant other as soon as they leave, or the rush of happy emotions that hits when they do that one little thing they know you love, like making you coffee before you wake or bringing home burritos. ❤
Thank you to Andrews McMeel for the ARC in exchange for an honest review!
One of the cutest comics is now finally available in a collection that's absolutely perfect to read snuggled up with one's partner (that, and to give as a gift to the love of your life)
I've been a huge fan of Catana since I first discovered the comics several months ago. I was SO excited when I heard a book was coming out and immediately added it to my wish list. I couldn't wait to read it.
As someone who has read almost all of her comics, I have to say -- this book did not disappoint at all. I loved every single page! It is a fantastic mix of old favorites from the Instagram and new comics that made me laugh and warmed my heart. The saddest part was when it ended - I easily could have read something twice as long. I know I'll revisit this many times in the years to come and can't wait to buy a hard copy in May.
Disclosure: I received a free copy of this e-book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
A sweet, simple and absolutely relatable book made up of the little moments that mean everything in a relationship. While the drawings are deceptively simple they message they convey is absolutely clear, needing only the most basic of captions or descriptions. I defy anyone reading not to find themselves chuckling as they pick out the things that translate to their own romantic experiences. This book is truly a universal read.
Little Moments of Love was full of super cute scenarios between a modern-day couple. The illustration style was adorable and I can relate all too well to the majority of this graphic novel.
However, a lot of the comics felt recycled throughout this book. It would have been nice to see some of the not-so-cute parts of a relationship explored too. Pretending a couple has no flaws is very unrealistic.
Thank you to the publishers who provided me with an ARC of this book through NetGalley!
I have loved the Catana cartoons ever since I saw one shared on facebook. This collection did not disappoint! It was great to see so many of her relatable scenes all in one place and it would make a great gift for a cute couple, or as a wedding gift for that couple that just... really likes each other! The humor and sweetness are throughout and reminded me of so many feelings from when my husband and I were first dating.
Thank you NetGalley for the ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.
I have been following Catana Chetwynd's web comics online for quite a while, and was unbelievably excited when I found out she was finally coming out with a collection of her comics in book form. I knew I just had to read this one! As predicted, I simply loved this book. The comics are lighthearted, and relate-able. Perfect for fans of Sarah Anderson, or Yasmine Surovec. This is an absolute 5/5 in my eyes!
I received this from #NetGalley and the publisher in exchange for an honest review.
I had definitely seen Catana Chetwynd's art floating around the Internet prior to reading this collection, so it was nice to finally put a name to it! Her drawings illustrating everyday moments of life with her boyfriend are adorable and very easy to relate to, even if your own relationship is a little different. This is a quick, super cute read.
These comics make my heart smile every time. They are so realtable, fun and true! You will see yourself and you relationship in each and everyone of the stories. 10/10 would recommend
THIS WAS HILARIOUS.
The burrito wrap and the 'how he argues vs. how i argue' are just too accurate for me. I loved the funky style of art. I thought it added real character and individuality. Furthermore, I loved the stories. They were honestly so true. This is what real love looks like. It's funny, slightly odd and overall makes your heart so warm.
The author did a really good job with this book. I loved it :) Humorous & relatable (maybe a bit too much)!
An accurate and adorable look at modern love. I see my own relationship in many of these and agree that it is both wonderful and weird.
Where do I begin with this comic?! It's so simple and so brilliant. I giggled a lot and was way more invested than I thought I would be. The tiny stories this comic consists of are incredibly cute and very relatable - in fact so relatable, that I constantly interrupted my boyfriend to show him yet another situation that was "so us". The drawing style is minimalistic and there isn't a lot of text, but you still have no trouble at all understanding the situation and atmosphere. Overall, I was very pleasantly surprised and will definitely be recommending Little Moments of Love.
The illustrations of everyday life as a couple was adorable. In a relationship you think you are strange and special together, but while reading this book you realize that others are too.
The drawings are cute, and you understand the story from them as well.
I thought I would snap up this book because I follow the lovely Catana on Instagram, her comics are hilarious and make me smile whenever I see them.
Every couple or every girl at least will be able to enjoy this book as these things are things all couples experience.
Enjoy the little moments.
Even if I already read some similar comics on the web, this one also made me smile and I had fun while reading it and comparing my love life to their.
Anche se ho giá letto qualcosa di simile in rete, anche questo fumetto mi ha fatto ridere e mi sono divertita a leggerlo e a paragonare la mia storia d'amore con la loro.
THANKS TO NETGALLEY FOR THE PREVIEW!
That's the sweetest and cutest little st of comics, they're funny and cute, some are very relatable. Loved this.
This was so absolutely adorable! I truly loved all of them and they were so relatable.
I'm really looking forward to more comics of Catana. They are the best :D
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THESE COMICS! ♥♥♥ I'm so happy that she decided to form her comics into a book! I love how their relationship is simple while being relatable. Each comic reminded me of how my fiance and I are around one another. I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone looking for something cute, funny, and relatable.
I'm a huge fan of Catana Comics online and have been known to tag my other half in a few on Facebook, which is why I'd already seen most of these comics on the soppy-nerd circuit already but it's a gorgeous collection, I think this is the perfect Valentine/Anniversary gift for the softie in your life. Be warned though, this collection is very, very, very sweet and sentimental (as well as funny and weird) so don't pick it up if you're not comfortable with the warm fuzzies.
**I was given access to a digital copy in exchange for an honest review.**
This was phenomenal! I've seen her comics here and there on Facebook, shared by friends. But I don't think I ever followed her myself. I just thought this was so sweet, I had to give it a look.
Awwwww!!! I love it! The comics are simple and nice to look at, the moments captured are generally sweet and sometimes hilarious, and they were clean enough that when my son popped up and started reading along, I didn't have to freak out.
I absolutely recommend you check this out!
A tiny girl is in love with a bearded man who towers above her. Thankfully he loves her too, enough to put up with her occasionally over-the-top weirdness. How small is she? She’s so tiny she fits in his hoodie. . . while he’s wearing it.
Each page is in the standard four-panel comic strip format, and there’s rarely any dialogue, but they are superb in showing the little things in relationships that make humans fall in love, or stay in love, despite obstacles. It’s sweet and charming and most of all hilarious.
The one that really got to me was when she says she remembered everything. . . while he waits for her to come back for her purse. The almost-embarrassed smile is just perfect, especially considering how broad the artwork is.
Sometimes she’s a little mean and tries to pass it off as endearing, like putting her cold hands on him, or zip-tying him to a chair. I don’t know if her fetish is his butt or his beard. . . though I suppose it could be both. I definitely don’t want to spend hump days with her. Thankfully the cuteness outweighs those moments, like the “It’s my lips!” routine. There are tiny touches throughout that makes this all the more special, like when she grabs onto the edge of the panel with her tiny adorable hands. His best moment is showing off his kissing-forehead magic to his friend; his thumb is the perfect capper.
“Nope. Never letting go.”
The quick shower thing was right on the mark; at least the author can make fun of herself.
And that’s probably the cutest author pic ever. . .
4.5 pushed up to 5/5
Note: I received this book from the author/publisher and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
Ok, this is straight up adorable. I've been a fan of Catana's comics for a little bit and follow her on Instagram but the book collected all the cutest ones together for one big awww fest. Maybe because I'm currently one of those dweebs in a cutesy relationship or maybe because I'm a hopeless romantic, this book just really made my heart smile. I had to stop reading at several points and show my bf a comic while screeching "LOOOOOK ITS USSSSS" (total: 8 screeches). The thing Catana excels at is showing how real, everyday type love is still adorable and meaningful. Because life isn't always huge showcases of love, it's the nice good morning texts and sharing your fries (or stealing his fries...whichever). The art and the stories are both so cute and portray a realistic modern romance. I can't wait to see more from the Catana/John relationship!
Catanas's are the most lovely, cute and bordering cheesy comics.
The blurb gets it right mentioning Sarah Andersen. This comics have that quirkiness but adding a couple extra layers of sweetness.
'Little momments of love' is a graphic memoir of the author's relationship with her boyfriend. It's pretty relatable, at least for me as a girl being in a newish relationship with a guy 45 cm. taller than me. But, it still keeps a lot of their personality which usually takes us in really funny plot twists.
I hope for our own sake that Catana and John live happily ever after!
This was adorable!! My heart! I loved this so much. The drawings were so cute. Such a sweet and fun read.
I love these comics so this book is amazing. It has been a great read. A laugh almost every page, several I wasnt to just print out and hang up on the wall.
I am so glad I received a free ebook ARC from Netgalley via the publisher.
Illustrated books are surely making a home in my heart, and Catana comics has been making it's rounds on social media for being simply adorable! When I got a chance to read it, overjoyed is what i was!!!
I loved the simple illustrations and how relatable they were. I could totally relate to a lot of them with respect to my own married life! Kudos to the Artist for capturing the simple bliss of being in a relationship so well.
A light read that just makes the reader feel good. Cute, simple illustrations that have a warm, positive message.
I love Catana's webcomics, and I'm so glad she has collected some of her work in a book! You need to pick this up if you and your partner are not the typical couple.
So cute, so recognizable and just funny. Several times, I thought 'omg that's us'.... Will definately keep an eye out for Catana Comics in future.
Love Catana Comics on Instagram, love Catana Comics in book form. For fans of Sarah's Scribbles and anyone who can appreciate romantic humor.
This is a wonderful collection of cute cartoons. Very sweet and often funny. They are also very relatable for anyone who is in a new or long term relationship.
I got an ARC copy of this book.
I love seeing these comics pop up as memes. I usually smile or laugh. So when I saw that this was being printed into a book, I go pretty darn excited. I snapped it up real quick.
If you are familiar with the comic, even through casual browsing of meme apps, then you won't have any surprises with this book. I don't think there was a single new piece in the book. All of the comics were ones I had seen before, for free. So what makes this book work getting? There is no special or new content that I could see. There is no exclusive in this book only sort of material. That's why it is not a perfect five star. There was nothing to make this book extra exciting.
The comics themselves range from some of the older comics to some that are fairly newer. They focused on the relationship between the artist and her boyfriend. They were cute. They were goofy. I sent one of them to my partner to tease him while he was at work. He has the a similar reaction when he sees me in a tie, so it was only fair.
If you are a super fan of this series, then this book is great. If you are looking for a sappy gift, then perfect. If you are looking for something you couldn't get for free on iFunny or LoLpics, look elsewhere.
Very sweet book and completely relatable! Cute collection of comic-like illustrations depicting everyday life as a couple. This quick read put a smile on my face and warmth in my heart. Highly recommended as a perfect gift for the love of your life..
This is soooo adorable. Seeing simple everyday life is amazing. Adorable drawings. I feel like Catana sometimes.
Rating: 4
Such a cute and adorable read!
The graphic novel Little Moments of Love by Catana Chetwynd is a book filled with short comics that were inspired from her relationship. Through reading these comics one can see how much she truly loves her boyfriend John. I loved these comics because anyone who is in a relationship can be able to relate to most of them. When reading there were times when I had to stop and show my boyfriend the comic because we could totally relate! I love the warm feeling I felt when reading these comics. I do recommend this book because it was cute, funny, and heartwarming. I did like some comics more than others but overall it was an enjoyable read.
This book is literally the cutest thing I've ever read! I'm a huge fan of Catana comics, and having so many in a collection like this is absolutely brilliant. I kept wanting to screenshot a comic to text to my husband, but then turning the page and finding one even more perfect... I love how Catana can put so much love and affection into such simple drawings - this would make the most perfect gift for any couple because I bet there's something everyone can identify with here. I am in love with Catana and John's relationship! I pre-ordered a hard copy minutes after reading this, because it's just so perfect!
I received a free digital copy of this book from Netgalley for an honest review.
I love Catana and her art! I was so excited to be able to review this book, and I feel like nothing I say about it will be good enough.
The comics are relatable, amusing and endearing. I can't wait to see more from this artist!
The book is soo sweet!! I enjoyed reading about her relationship in her comics and didn't want to finish it. It was a light, quick read.
An adorable collection of comics drawn by the author to imitate the relationship between her and her boyfriend. I had a smile on my face the whole way through it, and found myself laughing out loud a few times. I also found myself connecting to many of the situations portrayed, as so many of them are pretty common for almost any couple to have gone through at some point.
Really just a happy and feel good read that showcases some of the absurdities of being in a relationship, but also portraying those moments of love and appreciation that keep us going.
Recommended if you enjoy depictions of real-life relationship funniness, and are just in need of a good laugh and a smile.
Received via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
Thanks to Netgalley for the advance copy in exchange for an honest review. I loved this cute little comic book. It's super sweet and sappy and cute. If you love love then you will love this book!
I love Catana's comics and I've been following her since she began! I am so excited to see her success continue with this beautiful publication. Catana's comics are cute and relatable. Her comics never fail to make me smile.
Let's be real. I knew I would love this going into it. I had already seen some of her work and was already a fan. So it is unsurprising that I found this adorable and completely relatable, but there it is. I would recommend this to all my friends. The art and moments are just perfect. Warm and fuzzy!
This is absolutely adorable. Charming, heart-warming, all the words that aren't often used in my reviews. I think this book will offer many people hope for what relationships can be like, and is a sweet thing to flick through with your significant other around an anniversary (which was when and how I read this galley). Definitely recommend.
I've seen the comics they've made on Facebook, so when I saw this was being turned into a graphic novel, I had to take a look! These comics are so whimsical and cute.
Little Moments of Love depicts the every day moments that a couple has with each other. From the cute, the hilarious, and the complete truth of how long term relationships work.
love this author such perfect amazing work!! this is that comic series you see online with the firl and guy who do stuff and you look at your spouse and scream #same!!!!
its adorable and quirky and real
I love Catana's comics, and have been eagerly awaiting this book ever since I first heard about it. It did not disappoint. Sure, I'd seen most of the comics before on her tumblr, but having them together in one place for easy perusal still made it totally worth it :-D
Catana and John are so cute together without being overly sappy or unbelievable. There were more than a few comics I had to show my husband, because "this is US!!!", and I finished the collection with a happy smile on my face.
My only complaint? It's too short!
Thanks to Andrews McMeel Publishing for the ARC!
I love this book. I didn't know the artist before, but I'll definitely follow her on instagram after this. Her comics are so adorable, cute and funny! I think everyone can relate to at least a few of these situations. I agree with the other reviewer who said that it would make a great Valentine's Day gift.
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Five hearts intead of stars. Darn cute! I've seen the author's work online, but this book made me smile. Had to screenshot and send my faves to my husband because they were so true!
The comic was probably the cutest way to show you love someone. It was a light read but some of the messages run deep in any relationship. What makes little moment of love stand out is its comic form. Most love stories are all words and no picture which is fine but with little moments of love you get the visual aspect to it which makes it more real.
I was so excited to see that this book was being published, I love Catana'swork and this certainly didn't disappoint. Funny, heartwarming, and so incredibly relatable, I cannot wait to own a physical copy of this.
If you don’t recognize the name Catana, you would probably still recognize the cute little odd-couple moments comics. I love the backstory behind the invention of the comics—how Catana started drawing their little relationship moments for her boyfriend and he encouraged her to put them on the internet. Both were surprised to find out how many odd, happy couples could relate to it. Less than 2 years after drawing the first comic, she has now compiled them into a book. Instead of just texting or sharing a comic to your significant other to say “Hey, that’s us”, you can now get them a “thinking of you” book. I received this as an electronic ARC from NetGalley so I am not sure what size the hardcopy will be. The drawings are pretty simple and some of the topics were repetitive, but it’s the thought that counts. This should bring smiles.
"Little Moments of Love is a sweet collection of comics about the simple, precious, silly, everyday moments that make up a relationship."
I have been seeing some of these cute little comics via social media and immediately loved them. I was so excited to find out a book was being made. The drawings in this book, again, so cute! Cuteness all around!
I received this title via the publisher and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
An absolutely adorable graphic novel that had me smiling from ear to ear on every page. Must read for anyone looking for a lifted mood.
Catana Chetwynd started drawing comics about her and her boyfriend just for him. Soon she was sharing them online as Catana Comics and grew a following. Little Moments of Love is her first book collecting the comics, and it is sooooooo sweet!
Her comics capture the everyday things of being in love — from trying to reach her (very tall) boyfriend’s lips, to drowning in his sweatshirt; from couch snuggles to professions of wedding bells because he woke up early to make her coffee.
The drawings are simple and cute, and the dialogue is perfect.
Pick up this book if you need a light, fun read.
Disclaimer: I received an advance-read copy of this book via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
Very true to life. Kept bothering my boyfriend while we were reading in bed and saying, "Look, it's us!" almost every other page. Warm and fuzzy and wonderful.
I received a digital ARC from the publisher via NetGalley.
Adorbs! And I could relate to so many: touching my hubby's face with freezing hands, the tickling, the sides of the bed diagram, the impossibility of sharing an umbrella when you're different heights, the differing shower temperatures...the list goes on! <3
There is no fixed way to love someone and the moments that make you fall in love with a person are sometimes so small that they may seem unsignificant to other people. I'm really happy to have read those moments between Catana and John.
it really did make me feel warm and fuzzy inside
This was so friccin cute. And it becomes sweeter when you remember that this was experienced by two very real people and not just some imaginary scenes.
The design was very minimalistic but it fit the tone overall, which was perfect. It included some cliche things that were expected, but I was happy to see it in Chetwynd's style and perspective. She put a lot of her own twists from her personal experiences which made it extra unique.
It was either very relatable or it was something that you can imagine happening to yourself.
Some of the drawing were actually humorous and some were a bit more serious and deep which I appreciated. It was really diverse in terms of topics, like: growing old together, thankfulness, daily routines, expectations and realities, etc. The moments that I saw also did not seem to appeal to just women to relate to, despite the author being a woman herself, it also seems like something men would also find an enjoyable read.
It did not stick to just one theme and it never revolved around one thing which, if you think about it, is the real essence of love.
This collection is so adorable! I could totally relate to so many of the illustrations, nodding my head in agreement and laughing along as I turned the pages. I had to stop reading to show my husband the illustration for "How He Argues vs. How I Argue" because it described us to a T! I enjoyed this cute, quick read, and I believe it would make a great gift for Valentine's Day or even anniversaries. Thank you Catana for illustrating everyday musings in relationships in such a sweet, creative way.
This was just so sweet, and really - all of these comics are the ultimate version of "relationship goals." I've seen some of these pop up on popular social media sites (Tumblr, for example), and it's clear why they are so popular - they're adorable, and relatable. It's a fast, fun read, and I was definitely glued to my tablet, wanting more. I wish it had been a little longer, but at the same time it keeps me wanting more rather than dealing with the whole "too much of a good thing" issue. I will definitely be recommending this for purchase by my library system.
A book filled cover-to-cover with exactly what it promises: Little Moments of Love. It was cute and enjoyable, but I think I'd prefer reading these short comics in snippets on instagram or on greeting cards. Definitely on greeting cards.
What a super sweet collection of comics! The artist captures the adorably silly side of couples in love. This will be an ideal book to draw impulse purchases from lovebugs at the register!
A wonderful collection of comics by the darling Catana Chetwynd, showcasing the quirky side of love. Whether you fully relate, or are still waiting on that special someone to enter your life, giggles can be let loose throughout this collection.
I feel like this would be great to flip through with a significant other, snuggled up on the couch. Or, it can be read alone. Even if you don't relate to everything, it's still a fun and silly book and a great way to pass time.
This was a super cute comic based on the every day interactions of a couple in love. I loved this so much! It cheered me up and lifted my spirit just when I needed it. If you're a fan of illustrations in the vein of Sarah's Scribbles, you'll love this!
I recieved an arc of this collection from NetGalley for review. I also purchased my own copy! This collection is completely adorable. I have been a follower of Catana Comics for quite a while now. I love owning our own collection. My bearded husband loved it as well! All in all, 4.5 stars from us. We wish that there was a little more content that was brand new to is though.
I've been a fan of Catana Comics for a while, following them on Instagram. I've enjoyed the sweet, relatable comics for a long time, especially since I am short and have only dated tall people. Little Moments of Love is a cute collection, but being a fan, I had read most of them before. Still, it was fun to look back through my favorites, and if someone was unfamiliar with the comic, it's a great introduction. I think it would make a great gift for a favorite couple, or a sweet gift for an anniversary.
Thanks to NetGalley for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
This was a super cute book. I really enjoyed it. I see so much of my husband and I in the book. It was great and I hope there will be more books.
The art style is quirky and cute. I think it suited the tone of the collection perfectly, and added humour to the dialogue and prose. The subtle changes in facial expression hold a lot of meaning. Most of the panels are black and white. But every now and then, there’s a touch of colour to highlight an item or feeling. I like how these subtle changes have deep meaning.
Each comic in the collection are sweet and funny. They’re suggestive. Lovely. Hilarious. They feel so real and honest. It exposes how odd people are when they’re around people they love and feel completely comfortable with. Catana is hilarious and it’s adorable how much she loves her boyfriend. It rubbed me the wrong way sometimes, to see Catana so openly affectionate and her boyfriend more stoic. But these moments didn’t detract too much from my enjoyment of the novel.
"Little Moments of Love" is so cute! I loved the art style, and I found most of the comics to be hilarious and sweet.
