This was so absolutely adorable! I truly loved all of them and they were so relatable.
I'm really looking forward to more comics of Catana. They are the best :D
Even if I already read some similar comics on the web, this one also made me smile and I had fun while reading it and comparing my love life to their.
Anche se ho giá letto qualcosa di simile in rete, anche questo fumetto mi ha fatto ridere e mi sono divertita a leggerlo e a paragonare la mia storia d'amore con la loro.
THANKS TO NETGALLEY FOR THE PREVIEW!
I thought I would snap up this book because I follow the lovely Catana on Instagram, her comics are hilarious and make me smile whenever I see them.
Every couple or every girl at least will be able to enjoy this book as these things are things all couples experience.
Enjoy the little moments.
The illustrations of everyday life as a couple was adorable. In a relationship you think you are strange and special together, but while reading this book you realize that others are too.
The drawings are cute, and you understand the story from them as well.
THIS WAS HILARIOUS.
The burrito wrap and the 'how he argues vs. how i argue' are just too accurate for me. I loved the funky style of art. I thought it added real character and individuality. Furthermore, I loved the stories. They were honestly so true. This is what real love looks like. It's funny, slightly odd and overall makes your heart so warm.
The author did a really good job with this book. I loved it :) Humorous & relatable (maybe a bit too much)!
An accurate and adorable look at modern love. I see my own relationship in many of these and agree that it is both wonderful and weird.
Where do I begin with this comic?! It's so simple and so brilliant. I giggled a lot and was way more invested than I thought I would be. The tiny stories this comic consists of are incredibly cute and very relatable - in fact so relatable, that I constantly interrupted my boyfriend to show him yet another situation that was "so us". The drawing style is minimalistic and there isn't a lot of text, but you still have no trouble at all understanding the situation and atmosphere. Overall, I was very pleasantly surprised and will definitely be recommending Little Moments of Love.
Twee and too precious, repetitive, and really oddly drawn. I kept thinking of the characters as fish people due to the bulbous eyeballs and completely round heads. Some of these interactions are creepy and way too needy if you stop to think about them, but that's hard to do because everything is so lightweight and visually unappealing. My brain kept wanting to run away - perhaps a good use for this would be as an insomnia fighter. It's pitched as humor, but that would require pacing and insight.
These comics make my heart smile every time. They are so realtable, fun and true! You will see yourself and you relationship in each and everyone of the stories. 10/10 would recommend
I definitely wasn't the target audience for this one, as I didn't find a single panel to like in the whole book. But it really wasn't much to pick from: both the so called story and the so called art are meaningless and excruaciatingly repetitive.
I had definitely seen Catana Chetwynd's art floating around the Internet prior to reading this collection, so it was nice to finally put a name to it! Her drawings illustrating everyday moments of life with her boyfriend are adorable and very easy to relate to, even if your own relationship is a little different. This is a quick, super cute read.
I have been following Catana Chetwynd's web comics online for quite a while, and was unbelievably excited when I found out she was finally coming out with a collection of her comics in book form. I knew I just had to read this one! As predicted, I simply loved this book. The comics are lighthearted, and relate-able. Perfect for fans of Sarah Anderson, or Yasmine Surovec. This is an absolute 5/5 in my eyes!
I received this from #NetGalley and the publisher in exchange for an honest review.
I have loved the Catana cartoons ever since I saw one shared on facebook. This collection did not disappoint! It was great to see so many of her relatable scenes all in one place and it would make a great gift for a cute couple, or as a wedding gift for that couple that just... really likes each other! The humor and sweetness are throughout and reminded me of so many feelings from when my husband and I were first dating.
Thank you NetGalley for the ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.
Little Moments of Love was full of super cute scenarios between a modern-day couple. The illustration style was adorable and I can relate all too well to the majority of this graphic novel.
However, a lot of the comics felt recycled throughout this book. It would have been nice to see some of the not-so-cute parts of a relationship explored too. Pretending a couple has no flaws is very unrealistic.
Thank you to the publishers who provided me with an ARC of this book through NetGalley!
For those unfamiliar with Catana Comics, it’s a web comic about the artist and her relationship with her boyfriend. It’s another series that regularly makes its rounds on social media, which I imagine is where most people have seen it.
To say that this comic is sweet is an understatement. It is 100% relationship cheese that will be either #couplegoals or gag inducing depending on the audience. It’s clear that Catana and John are very much in love and they’re extremely cute together.
The comics, like the art, are simple. The title pretty much sums up the entire series in general as each strip is like a small snippet of life in a long term relationship. Fans of the comic series will probably love the collection, naturally; however for myself as a casual reader that appreciates seeing the occasional strip show up on my feed found the collection overall to be alright. Even a hopeless romantic like me can get tired of the overload of relationship fluff.
It’s good if you don’t expect too much from it, but at the same time I don’t feel compelled to read more.
Very cute. Very twee. Ultimately enjoyable. I've followed @catanacomics for a while so I was familiar with most of these. I enjoyed seeing more of the older comics, but ultimately would have liked more new stuff.
A sweet, simple and absolutely relatable book made up of the little moments that mean everything in a relationship. While the drawings are deceptively simple they message they convey is absolutely clear, needing only the most basic of captions or descriptions. I defy anyone reading not to find themselves chuckling as they pick out the things that translate to their own romantic experiences. This book is truly a universal read.

I've seen some of these comics floating around the internet and when I got an opportunity to read them in a whole collection, I seized it!
This is a very very cute representation of Catana and John's (her boyfriend) daily life, love and relationship. It's mainly cute little stories of their bond with each other and you can tell they are very much a young couple in love and totally in sync with one another.
Read it for some cute relationship goals and all the warm fuzzies of being in love :)
*Thank-you Catana Chetwynd, Netgalley & Andrews McMeel Publishing for the ARC.
I love this adorable web comic, it is so relate-able because this is totally stuff I have done to poor JT a lot. Except he is not a beardy-face like John is, which is how I like it.
4.5/5
It was such a cute little book!! I loved the drawings, and I found some drawings very relatable. A very quick read, and a perfect one if you need some cuteness in your life!
