Glad to have the opportunity to read excerpts of upcoming books. Helps to decide which books I want to read, and which ones I can pass on. Thanks to Publishers Lunch for the opportunity to read and review this book.
I always look forward to these Buzz Books. They provide an invaluable preview of the best books coming up soon. Such a great idea to be able to read an extended excerpt.
an amazing collection. I have ordered quite a few books mentioned in here already and I have a few more on my watch list.
I love these previews. Thank you for providing them. It’s really nice to see what is coming up in the reading world.
I received a free ARC from NetGalley.
I enjoy the samplers so I can get a preview of upcoming titles.
Love these Book Buzz titles! So many interesting finds that can be enjoyed by so many. Glad to have these to read monthly!
A wonderful selection of excerpts of incoming books to read during the summer holidays.!! Buzz Books are a precious tool to decide which book to read!
Great Selection of upcoming novels, you always have the best selections. Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to read for a fair review.
I adore Buzz Books, so naturally there was plenty for me to get from this edition.
The Lost Vintage - Wowza thats a pretty cover. It makes me want to go on a sunny picnic with a novel, maybe even this one. (file this under "pretty books I need to own if for no other reason than the cover") This book looks like such a warm intriguing story. I can't wait to curl up with it somewhere sunny. I love World War II novels, so this is a must read for me.
Bearskin - This is another novel with a beautiful cover, but... this one seems a bit less warm and fuzzy. This appears to be a thriller tackling the topic of poaching. It looks to be gruesome and intriguing. (Within the first few pages the author was already describing leg tendons being hacked at - if that isn't your thing maybe skip this one)
Little Big Love - This is another one that just looks like a warm welcoming novel. I can't wait to read it. I love a good family drama and this author writes in a way that I'm sure I could (and will) devour this book in an evening.
A helpful preview of upcoming book releases. It's definitely worth getting if you're interested in adding to your TBR and have no idea where to start.
I enjoy discovering new books from tried and true authors and books from new authors and this is a good resource to have when looking for upcoming books.
I absolutely love these monthly buzz editions. They are incredibly helpful in lining up my TBR and selecting what I want to read in the upcoming months.
Once again, really high quality selection of fictions. I've been eyeing Little Big Love and In The Lost Vintage for a while. It's nice to read the excerpt to decide if I wanted to read the actual books or not.
This is an amazing resource to find out what is coming up from your favorite or new authors. I found a number of items to add to my already lengthy TBR list. I am pretty good about keeping up with new releases, or so I thought, but this introduces me to books I might not have found otherwise.
always useful to compile TBR and to sample books and see everything coming out. categories very useful.
This snippets and previews are really great for finding out the new titles and what books are good to recommend for customers, especially those looking for reader's advisory, or those who like the newest titles.
I really love these buzz books excerpts. My favorite thing about NetGalley is being able to see these lists of upcoming reads and being able to read a chapter or two of selected books.
Netgalley regularly these neat little books that are a true blessing to a Greedy Reader such as myself. This one covers the Book Expo America show where many galleys of upcoming titles are there to nab if you can get yourself to Javits Center in New York (when is it going to come back to LA, I ask you?) There are excerpts from new titles each month. Really nice and a great place to go to find what's coming up for you to lust after.
These Buzz Book Monthly samplers are extremely helpful to me as a bookseller. Thanks to Publishers Lunch.
Every month Publisher's Lunch puts out a guide to the most anticipated books being released. Included in this month's edition are excerpts from seven upcoming novels four of which are debuts.
The Hawkman by Jane Rosenberg LaForge is a retelling of Grimm's Fairytales set around World War I. This book should appeal to both fans of historical fiction and romance alike.
Tell the Machine Goodnight by Katie Williams is a sci-fi novel about a woman who has been assigned to make everyone happy.
Spencer Wise's debut The Emperor of Shoes is about a Chinese expatriate who takes over his family's shoe factory only to find it plagued with corruption.
Last but not least is James MacLaughlin's Bearskin a thrilling addition to Appalachian noir.
