I received a free copy from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
I enjoy the Buzz Books supplements. They give snippets of some upcoming books and give you a good teaser to want to get the book.
A great source to look for books to add to your TBR. There are a lot of books featured and I love how it gives excerpts from the featured books because I’m able to see the author’s writing style. Plus it’s easier to know whether I really want to read the whole featured book or not.
These issues are always such an amazing help and I love reading these every time that they come out! I love being able to see early glimpses into new books coming up!
So many titles I'm excited to read! Love the excerpts :) I am especially looking forward to Unsheltered by Barbara Kingsolver, but was also happy to find some interesting title from debut authors.
Huge thanks to NetGalley for giving me the opportunity to read these excerpts of incoming books before they hit the shelves. I really enjoy to read BuzzBooks every month because it helps me to discover wonderful books!!
An interesting look into upcoming books that definitely help me with my TBR. I definitely like that these are available.
Usually I am scrambling to devour Buzz Books, so I was a little disappointed when the July/August edition didn't have much that was of interest to me.
Books that I will read that showed up in this edition:
Good Luck With That - I am a sucker for Kristan Higgins. If you haven't read anything by here, you may as well start here. I have loved everything I've read by her. Its like a warm, cozy hug. Her books are total guilty pleasure reads for me.
Baby Teeth - This is one book that grabbed my attention... because I've already read it. Baby Teeth is horrifying and incredible and had me guessing till the very end. I LOVED it. This book is perfect for people who hate kids, are on the fence about kids, or just love to be creeped out by kids. I maaaybe wouldn't recommend this to new moms or people who think their child might be evil and bent on killing them. Its kind of nightmare fuel... but like... in a good way.
Thank you for this Book Buzz. I thoroughly enjoy and look forward to the anticipation of the latest books being release and adding to my forever growling TBR list !
Great selection of new books, as always. Have noted new reading choices. Look forward to the next edition.
I love this little pub of all things comin g in books!
It is nice to read about upcoming titles and news that it shares.
I didn't realize this was a book to be reviewed. Very valuable information. A must for all serious readers.
This is the first Buzz Books Monthly I’ve read and I loved it! I’ve added several more books to my “to be read” list. It was so helpful, I can’t wait to check out more issues. Thank you NetGalley!
I love Buzz Books for making me aware of what is coming soon in the book world. Excerpts from upcoming works steer me toward books I might otherwise miss and they help me discover new authors. The lists allow me to spot new works from authors I already love and am familiar with. I thought all of the books I read excerpts from in this issue look like excellent books and I hope to read all of them! I am especially interested in reading My Year of Rest and Relaxation by Ottessa Moshfegh and A Terrible Country by Keith Gessen - they look really interesting to me. I have already read an advance copy of Baby Teeth by Zoje Stage and it is quite a disturbing horror story.
Many thanks to Publishers Lunch for publishiing these great resources!
Love to read these buzz books to get a sample of whats to come through out the month! Also gets me excited to read new books before they come out can't wait!
I've always appreciated the Buzz Books collections, and really love these new shorter editions. Such a handy way of finding my next read. Please keep them coming!
Interesting novels. I like how buzz books provides excerpts to give us an idea of which books we’d be interested in. Really allows us to explore genres outside our niche
As always, some interesting books to look out for. At least three caught my eye this time.
The first one is French Exit by Patrick de Witt, The excerpt ended too soon - I want to read more.
A Terrible Country by Keith Gessen also sounds good. Initially I thought it might not be for me but I think I would enjoy this one set in Russia. Andrei who has grown up in America, moves from New York to Moscow to care for his ailing, elderly grandmother who sounds like a wonderfully interesting character. Sounds like lots of potential for comedy and heartbreak. I guess I'll have to read it to find out.
The third book that appeals to me is Chariot on the Mountain by Jack Ford, a novel based on a true Court case from 1846 America.
Fabulous titles in the July/August 2018 Buzz Books Monthly instalment. Some wonderful new authors and titles I have requested and hopefully will be approved for.
Thanks once again for some great excerpts to digest.

Hip hip hurrah! The July/August 2018 Buzz Books Monthly is here, with excerpts of seven titles due for publication in July and August. I ❤️ these samplers and this one was no exception. 5/5

JULY/AUGUST 2018 BUZZ BOOK MONTHLY includes samples of various books being released soon. It was very helpful to read and enjoyable as well. I found the samples delightful and am looking forward to purchasing some of the books when they are published. Thank you Netgalley for allowing me to read and review this book.
