This was an edge-of-your seat read. I enjoyed the tensions and the way Gordan Hudde worked things out and manipulated the situation to solve the problems. This was a quick read and kept my attention.
While there were some painful moments to endure, overall, the book was worth plodding through the physically painful instances.
I suffer from "SEAL fatigue" so I started this prepared for the same old save the day stuff being cranked out daily. I was pleasantly disappointed with a truly twisting tale of intrigue and a CIA operative (Hudde) with some possible potential. The one other negative is the 210 pages, you are barley warmed up before it is done. Read this one.
CIA Operative Hudde stumbles on a SEAL that has been kidnapped. He becomes the one man rescue team. Before being kidnapped the SEAL saw the President of the USs right hand man meeting with a middle eastern terrorist. Hudde convinces the SEAL to leave that information out of his report and he sets off to figure out what is happening. This story contains twists and turns that determine whether the United States will continue to exist. The author did a great job of catching my attention right from the beginning and keeping it right to the end. When I finished reading I promptly went looking for more of this series. I will be reading the next book soon. If you love a good suspense novel this books for you. I recommend this book.
