A Definite Must Read! Perfection with words.
This book has a little bit of everything, romance, suspense, drama and a perfect happily ever after. The only negative is wishing the book was longer. Then again, hopefully the books later in the series provide updates on Parker & Sara and Palmer too. This book had me hooked and on the edge of my seat which is refreshing in the romance genre.
While I did receive an advance copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley, I purchased the book and am voluntarily leaving my opinion with this voluntary review.
I don't read enough of Jill Sanders books, but after speeding through Parker and Sara's story, that's going to change. A Dash of Love was filled with a little mystery and a lot of romance and hope. Parker is hired to work on renovations for Sara's uncle's restaurant, and we see the love connection between Parker and Sara. Someone is vandalizing the restaurant, which provides much of the mystery, and these two easily take care of each other through tougher scenarios. I really loved this couple and how the book branched out a bit.
I received an ARC copy from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review. This book is a first in a new series. After reading I can't wait to read what comes next ! An easy read with romance and suspense with a really great storyline that makes you want to read all of this series and others she has written. The characters felt real and relatable. A must read!
When you have lost everything why not start over, in Pride OR where they take pride in all the do. This book was so fun I thought this book was going to be just your traditional love story only to have the author to add some suspense to it. What I liked about this suspense book it was built up the author didn't just through it out all at once. I love how with Sara's family it was just that all about family and town pride and all about being there for each other no matter what. I love how they included others in to make them "family" too. I felt like I was catching up with friends truly, this book is not a group of perfect people but a group of imperfect people who loved each other. There is some adult language, This book to was a quick read and oh so good., you really can't go wrong.
I received a copy of A Dash of Love (Pride, Oregon #1) by Jill Sanders from Grayton Press and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Thank you!
I give this book 5 stars! A Dash of Love by Jill Sanders is a sweet romance and an exciting start to a new series. I can't wait for the rest of them. Bravo Jill!
This is a contemporary romance with a little mystery thrown in. It is quick reading and leaves you with a good feeling. The characters are likable, even if Sara didn't like Parker to start with. Parker more than made up for it with his attraction to her. A little romance, a little mystery, family complications, a restaurant and a sexy hero. The romance was balanced with some good steamy scenes. It's a go for me!
A happy ever after story that will pull at your heart. You'll fall in love with the good people of Pride. The love of a grandmother's care raising her grandson and in turn he'll raise his brother.
I loved Parker and how he worked hard for his dreams to come true. He was the perfect hero for this romance, but I did not love Sara. Sara was annoying and her personality kind of put me off. Overall it was an entertaining read, but I wasn’t crazy about it.
Jill Sanders delivers another great small town romance. I have read several books by this author and this did not disappoint. Love the characters and their chemistry with one another. Great read!
A Dash of Love is such an easy and fun reading. It's a romantic novel, with a touch of mystery, that will keep you glued to the book.
Sara and Parker are nice, adorable people (as a couple and individually). Their love story was the cutest, and the way they look after each other is admirable.
Pride, Oregon, where the story takes place, is like the idyllic small town. It would be the perfect place to visit, or even to live, full of welcoming people.
This book is a real page-turner. If I would have had the time, I would have read it in one sitting! I'm looking forward to read more books of this series to know a little bit more about the amazing town of Pride and its lovely people.
An uncomplicated read, even with evil machinations in play, the story doesn’t have much depth to it. The characters fell flat for me, lacking the type of dimension that creates the necessary connection to form attachments and investments in the story’s outcome. Sadly I lost interest in the goings-on in Pride, OR as the story just didn’t pick up enough steam with any type of emotional dynamics to capture and keep my attention.
This ARC book was complimentary, provided by the Publisher and NetGalley. I am voluntarily providing my honest review.
A very sweet romantic story between newcomer Parker the contractor which has a job to remodel Sarah family restaurant. At first, I thought this will be one of those boring books with not a lot of happening but the more had story developed the better it becomes. Both Sarah and Parker are a likable character and well developed, and I shouldn't forget the mutt. Parker is really a good guy with a great heart also Sara is great. They fell really quick for each other but they are happening a lot of mysterious things someone is after them. great lovely story.
I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for Netgelly

This is such a sweet story about love and family. Parker is hired to fix up an old family restaurant that Sara is finally running.
The love story is really a delight to read but the best part is the connections the characters have with the background characters like Parker’s grandmother.
A great story to pick up.

I received a complimentary copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.
A sweet and fairly undemanding read set in a small town where everyone knows everyone else's business.
Unusually, the romance plot was very straightforward, with all of the drama - and wow was there lots and lots of drama - coming from a pseudo jeopardy sub plot. I must say that didn't really do much for me; I wasn't too interested in solving the whodunit and it didn't feel dark or threatening enough to keep me feeling edge of my seat nervous. By about the fourth time something happened it started to feel a little samey tbh, although I enjoyed opportunity it offered the alpha H to get all growly protective. I don't care how many times I read it, that never gets old.
It was sweet enough and the smut was decent but I don't think I'd rush out to read any more from this series based on this one.
Complete story, standalone but part of a series.
Loved this book so much. Thank you Jill Sanders for an incredible read. Highly recommend this to any romance readers out there. Story and characters were fantasic.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from NetGalley and I also purchased a copy.
What a sweet story. I loved the characters. Two strong independent people coming together in the best possible way. The book had my favorite dual POV. That really helps me to understand the character so much better. I loved the close knit family and community of Pride. I will have to go back and read the other stories as their characters were fantastic as well.
I loved the suspense that was in this book as well. The plot was wonderful and just perfect. It wasn't too long and drawn out nor too short so everything was tied up nicely. I highly recommend.
I liked it. This new spin-off series is the next generation in Pride, Oregon. Having read that series previously, Dash of Love was an enjoyable read to revisit past characters and experience their kids all
grown and finding their own. Sara Jordan and Parker Clarke crash into each other quite literally and sparks fly. Being thrown together again the chemistry is undeniable. I really enjoyed their connection. I liked the interaction with Sara’s family, and Parker finding his way in this new town. The elements of suspense worked for me and honestly kept me guessing for a bit. Ultimately this is a story of finding where you belong and who you connect with. 3.75 Stars
Likable characters, bit of a mystery, and sweet romance. One sitting read. Reason for the 3 - just a typical read nothing really unique or anything that makes it stand out.
The story is set in a town called Pride and is focussed around Sara Jordan and Parker Clark with the occasional appearance of Toby the dog.
It was love at first site for them both and as they get know each other passion quickly begins to stir. But love never runs smooth in a good book and this is no exception to that rule.
Parker had a sad childhood, his grandmother looked after him the best she could and he loved her dearly. On the Rare occasions that he would see his mother, she was either drunk or high. The love story becomes a good thriller as the plot unravels.
I love the pace of this book. I enjoyed the fact that the romance was not dragged out, it quickly became apparent that these two love birds were made for each other and they both knew it.
Life does get in the way very dramatically, Are Sara and Parker strong enough to cope with all that is happening? Parker will need to confess to Sara about his past, and Sara will need to be caring, supportive and understanding if their relationship is to progress.
This story is romantic, sexy, thrilling, dramatic and sad all in one book. I enjoyed it so much that I am definitely going to read it again.
For any of you avid readers that like a book with just the right mix of all of the above, then I recommend you read A Dash of Love.
This was a sweet romance. I enjoyed the characters and the storyline had a little suspense as well as romance. This was a new author to me, but I enjoyed this book.
