This was delightful. The illustrations were charming and every single comic was funny and relatable; I'm pretty sure I had a goofy grin on my face the entire time I was reading it. Definitely will be checking out more of this author/illustrator's work!

"Book Love" by Debbie Tung is a delightful collection of comics that resonates with the hearts of avid bookworms. With humor and charm, Tung's illustrations capture the essence of being head-over-heels for all things book-related, from hardcovers and paperbacks to ebooks, bookstores, and libraries. These relatable comics will make any bibliophile laugh, recognizing themselves in the quirks, thoughts, and habits of fellow book lovers. "Book Love" is the perfect gift to convey understanding and appreciation to someone who treasures the world of books, making it a must-have for any book enthusiast's collection.

Anyone who loves books and loves to talk about them will find something to adore in 'Book Love'. Debbie Tung knows exactly what the situations are we all bond over, what the attitudes are we set ourselves up with, etc. I did also really enjoy illustration style although I must also admit it really reminded me of Sarah Anderson's approach. There are clear differences between the two, of course, but the energy and aim is similar.

'Book Love' is pretty much exactly what you would expect, which is neither a bad thing nor a super excellent thing. I got exactly the kind of jokes and graphic panels about loving books that I was hoping for. But not a whole lot of it surprised me, if that makes sense? Like, we all hate getting rid of any of our books, even if we have already read them or are never going to read them; they're nonetheless ours! So technically everything in 'Book Love' is straight up my alley and I did enjoy a lot of it. But none of it really struck me properly as something unexpected or as something I hadn't thought about before. This would make an excellent gift for someone who loves books and would like to occasionally open up a graphic book and go 'Oh yes, that's so me!' and then go on with their day. Basically, it is the perfect Coffeetable Book, which is an important distinction in and of itself.

As a chronic Book Person, I truly loved this little book. This one really goes out to all my fellow Book People. We're often odd and find ourselves in situations few others can truly relate to, but this book is chock full of scenarios that you'll easily recognize. There's something warm and fuzzy about knowing all your weird idiosyncrasies about your book obsession isn't exclusive to just you. My fellow Bookworms, grab this one, hunker down, get cozy, and feel good about your love of books.

'Book Love' by Debbie Tung is a collection of comics all about loving books and reading.

In the adorable book, if you love books like I do, you will completely relate to the comics. There are comics about having moments after finishing emotional books, spending food money on books, and not going anywhere without something to read.

I could relate to this book completely as will most bibliophiles. This would be a great gift book (along with some tea) for the book lover in your life.

I received a review copy of this ebook from Andrews McMeel Publishing and NetGalley. Thank you for allowing me to review this ebook.

This is just too relatable. A quick read, as expected, but a great gift for the bookworm in your life. (Even if that bookworm is you. Go read this and feel seen.)

I really enjoyed the illustrations and the subject matter. As individual comics, I loved them and saw myself in them. As a book full of them, they felt a little like too much of a good thing.

Somehow this one got missed in the review process. I loved this book! So much so that I purchased a copy for my library so our patrons could enjoy it too. It perfectly illustrated how those of us who are afflicted with book love feel.

I thought this was a book about loving books, but it is a book that contains comics about the book. Book lovers (aren't we all on here?) will be able to relate to these charming illustrations. It's like getting lost in a book with a friend!

A charming collection of drawings, appealing to all, but especially to all those who love to read! Tung manages to reflect the feelings of all of us for whom reading is as essential as eating and breathing, and any book worm is sure to find at least one of these pages speaking to them personally! A great read.

Book Love is filled with humorous comic strips about all the glories, virtues, and downfalls of being a full-fledged bibliophile. Whether sneaking sniffs, trying to quell anxieties about have too much or too little to read, or skipping grocery shopping for the bookstore, every hardcore reader will relate to the morrow of their bones.
Debbie Tung not only understands readers and the irresistible draw of a bookstore/library/friend's bookcase, but she is clearly one of us. My only critique is that it was not longer, my being one of those readers that always want more of a good thing, and that Tung lives in the UK and we cannot be best friends.

Comics about books? Heck yeah! This is a collection of relatable and cozy comics about loving books - from the impulsive buying more books when you haven't read the ones you already own, to the guilty pleasure of smelling the books, to being wrapped in a blanket reading all weekend straight. I LOVED these, I could spend all day reading these comics.

Note: I received a free copy of this book from NetGalley. I was not compensated in any other fashion for the review and the opinions reflected below are entirely my own. Special thanks to the publisher and author for providing the copy.

What a great book for a book lover. It has no story/plot/suspense or romance, but there are cute illustrations and antidotes.

Are you a bookworm? If so, then this is the perfect comic for you.
Debbie Tung's Book Love, is full of cute and relatable comic strips about what it truly means to be someone who loves books. Would a bookworm choose to buy books or food? Books, of course! What is the most important thing for a bookworm to pack on a vacation? Books!
I definitely agree with Tung's book recommendations, especially The Great Gatsby and Pride and Prejudice.

This was one of those books I accidently stumbled upon and I am so happy I did because after reading this I definitely went out and purchased a copy for my collection and flipped through it constantly.

This definitely applies to your typical book lover.
