A great visit to Pride, Oregon. Corey and and Lily were wonderful together. I enjoyed both the main and the secondary characters. Cute, small town romance.
Riley and Lilly are opening classy and sassy right next door to the mysterious Miller brothers Pizzaria. While renovating the store Lilly and Corey (Miller) chemistry can no longer be ignored. Throw in some drama and a few twists and turns and you got your self a fun read.
Lilly may be a bit overwhelmed with starting a new business but that hasn’t stopped her from noticing the cutie next door. He’s funny, charming, and oh-so-appealing. But with a less than ideal family history, Corey doesn’t feel like he deserves a chance with Lilly but she’s proving herself a little too tempting. Then life throws them together. in an adorable and humorous manner and all doubts are thrown aside. But trouble from the twins’s past may derail any chances they have for a HEA.
Sanders delivers one of those satisfying small town romances. It’s all about the characters, their interactions, the closeness of the community, and all the emotions that go along with it. There’s a little drama (and a nail biter of an ending) but it doesn’t overwhelm the more gentle story of these two getting to know each other and falling in love.
(This is my first in this series but I had no trouble keeping up.)
I could not not finish. Cheesy and unremarkable. The dialogue was uninspiring. I'm generally not fond of NA books and these characters in particular seem very young.
I did not realize that this was book 3 in a series :( so I will not be reading as I like to read series in order. Thank you for the opportunity to read this book.
Season of Love is my first read by Jill Sanders. Maybe I would have felt more connected if I had read the others first. I did like the story, but overall, it fell short. I wanted something more from it. Thanks to NetGalley for an arc in exchange for an honest review.
This is my first Jill Sanders book, and 3rd in a series, so I went into it blind. I want sure if I’d get lost, but luckily it wasn’t too hard and now I need to read the first 2. This was great book to get lost in and a quick read.
Having read a few of Jill Sanders' books, I found this one rather disappointing. Somehow it came across as incomplete. I couldn't really identify with the characters as well.
This is my first book from this author and wow what a fun book. This is a third book in this series and I defiantly want to go back and read books one and two. This book seemed to fly once I started reading it. I really enjoyed the back in forth with Lilly's family, they may be big and nosey but at the end of the day they are there for her and Riley. I loved the bothers two no matter what they faced they faced it together and fought through the tough times. I really enjoyed how Corey had this cocky side to him but also had this sweet/kind side to him as well. The story line will have you on the edge of your seat some times and you never know what is going to happen next. This book does have adult situations and adult language in it. If you are looking for a really fun read that's quick grab this book you won't be disappointed.
What another great visit to Pride, Oregon. Corey and and Lily are wonderful together. I loved how they knew each other before the gave in to their attraction. I enjoyed the main characters as well as the secondary ones. Season of Love was a cute, small town romance that was enjoyable to read.
I received this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Jill Sanders has quite a few books written about the people of the town of Pride, Oregon. This is the first one I’ve read. I was able to learn pretty easily about the various family members and characters in this series. Season of Love is the story of Lilly and Corey. Lilly’s Family is quite prominent in Pride and a large bunch. Corey and his twin Carter have moved to Pride and opened a pizza restaurant named Baked. They have escaped a bad childhood with horrible parents and are trying to avoid them still years later. Lilly and her cousin Riley are opening a boutique named Classy and Sassy next door to Baked. Corey and Lilly have lots of chemistry and she gets the nerve to ask him out. Corey doesn’t feel worthy of Lilly but she convinces him to keep dating her.
A lawyer comes to see Corey and Carter to tell them their estranged grandpa has died and that they need to go to Seattle for the reading of the will. They learn the grandfather was very wealth and he’s left everything to the twins, not their parents. The parents are angry and the dad attacks Corey. The twins return to Pride, deciding to sell the grandpa’s house. Corey and Lilly date. Lilly goes with Corey to Seattle to appraise the art objects in the home. The. Boutique has opened and the girls are doing great with sales. The romance is great, a little steamy and then there’s suspense.
I really liked the author’s writing style, the storyline and the characters. I give it 5 stars and plan to read more of this author’s books.
4 1/2 stars sweet stars. Another wonderful small town romance in Pride with the next gen of Jordans. Lilly & Riley are in the process of getting their business up and running. I just love the way this family and town is always there for each other to help out. Corey and his twin brother own the pizzeria next door and after a while of looking but not touching, he finds himself face to face with Lilly and the chemistry just sizzles between them. They are so good together and I totally enjoyed their journey to love. I look forward to more from Pride.
Th estory of Lilly and Corey. She wants him, but he thinks he isn't good enough for her. All changes with his sudden inheritance, but someone is out to get him.
I don't think I have read the other books in this series and I don't think it mattered. Looking forward to the next one, hopefully about Corey's twin Carter.
I love Jill's title's and it was good to be back in Pride, with some familiar charactersand complete with the small town charm.
I always enjoy reading stories from Jill Sanders’ Pride, Oregon series because they never let me down and Season of Love was no different…mostly.
From the first page I loved Lilly and Corey, both on their own and together as a couple. Lilly comes from a big, boisterous loving family which is a stark contrast to the human garbage that raised Corey and his twin brother Carter. Because of that Corey thinks he may not be good enough for Lilly, but she’s one half of Class & Sassy and my girl won’t stand for her man thinking of himself that way.
Corey was big and strong but so sweet it was hard to find anything wrong with him. Even when he harped on his upbringing it was never to the point of me rolling my eyes in annoyance. I felt for the guy, I truly did and the way he couldn’t stay away from Lilly, well let’s just say I was fanning my face at his sweet, boy next door hotness!
When things got hot between them, they got HOT and honestly I just wanted more time with them.
If I have any complaints about Season of Love it’s to do with the last fifteen percent of the story. It was over the top dramatic and unnecessary. I won’t give anything away but I thought it came out of left field and it didn’t really add anything to the story…except maybe (hopefully) setting up a story for Riley & Carter (fingers crossed, Jill…wink, wink).
This was a fast fun read that I enjoyed. If not for the drama at the end, a five star read for sure!

I had a bit of a hard time with this book. Lilly seems needy and desperate. And Corey is not very alpha. MInd you I don’t need a hero who is pure alpha but he just never seemed to have much of a backbone...especially when it came to Lilly.
Story is fine and interesting. I enjoyed the background characters.,

If you're a fan of Debbie Macomber, pick up Season of Love by Jill Sanders. A great, warm, heartwarming read.
Many thanks to NetGalley, the publisher, and the author. All opinions are my own.
It’s so easy to fall back into the world of Pride, Oregon… with any of the generations of the Jordan family and Season of Love is no different. Cousins Lilly and Riley are making their dream of owning a shop together a reality. They have the shop, and the growing friendship with the two handsome yet mysterious twin brothers who own the pizzeria next door. The attraction might be a bit more for Lilly and Corey, but she’s intent on the new business opening and it being successful, and Corey is as well but with the added reality of his and his brother’s past to consider. Yet, love holds still for no one, and the timing is rarely perfect. When a blast from the past changes lives it’s now up to Corey and Lilly to make some choices while working toward that happy ending they both want but are afraid to count on.
Season of Love is an emotional romance, one that not only showcases the love between two people but that special bond that twins share. There is a touch of mystery, a bit of suspense but mostly there is a whole lot of family love and new beginnings for Lilly and Corey. It’s always a special treat to run into couples, people that we’ve met in previous stories… and get a bit of an update. This world is one that is easy to get lost in – in the good way – and I will always be willing to come back for another visit. I had a blast with this story, and I’m pretty sure you will, too. Do you have to read the entire series? No, of course not… but this story will be enriched for you by knowing what came before. And besides, all the stories are enjoyable and entertaining so if you can, I’d certainly recommend this entire series.
*I received an e-ARC of this novel from the publisher via NetGalley. That does not change what I think of this story. It is my choice to leave a review giving my personal opinion about this book.*
I also own a copy of this title.
Awesome book, this is a new author for me. I will be sure to read more books by Jill Sanders.
This book has romance, past trials and tribulations, new business and an inheritance.
The book starts with eight year old twins Corey and Carter holding hands while their parents have yet another fight.Their father was recently fired from the construction business that is ran by their papa. The book turns to lily who is mistake dying her trademark dark hair blonde. She is starting to open up a boutique with her cousin Riley.Lily slips and almost falls on
While working on the boutique. The twins own a restuarnt next door to the work in progress boutique. I loved seeing the progress in boutique and chemistry between twins and the cousins.
