Ein gutes Buch für Einsteiger, die sich noch nicht, oder sehr wenig, mit der Materie befasst haben. Ansonsten hält das Buch keine Überraschungen oder neue Erkenntnisse parat.

Excellent, concise book with easy to understand details and language. With very clear pictures for demonstration purposes, this book was an absolute delight to read.

I was grateful to receive this ARC from Netgalley in exchange for my honest opinion

This book got archived while I was in the process of reviewing it, and therefore did not finish it in order to give a full length review. I will be unable to post the review on social media but It was interesting as far as I got into it.

I was provided with a complimentary copy of this book so I could give an honest review.

The setup of Press Here! Acupressure for Beginners: How to Release and Balance Energy Flow by Bob Doto reminded me of the setup of Press Here! Massage for Beginners: A Simple Route to Relaxation and Releasing Tension by Rachel Beider. They both have colorful illustrations to highlight different parts of the body. They show different techniques for specific issues or different parts of the body. Both also show how to work on others and on yourself. Both are written for beginners but include beneficial information for those who are familiar with the activities.

I have always been interested in Acupuncture but have not experienced it. When I heard about Acupressure I was intrigued. I suffer from Sinusitis and other issues which this book focuses on. I am attempting to relieve some on the pain and, hopefully, to save money on doctor's visit.

I had difficulty reading the ebook. The print was small and, when zoomed in, the page would go blank. I eventually took a screenshots so I could zoom in to make the print large enough to read comfortably. Some of the fonts were blurry even when not zoomed it. However, the information I learned was worth the hassle.

What a cute little book! Having no prior knowledge of acupressure, I really enjoyed the information and layout of this book. The details and pictures were an added plus, and I really liked how the book was laid out, describing the techniques and the. How to utlize them. Color palette is fantastic too.

Thank you Netgalley for the ARC.

This book is a great introduction to Acupressure. I found this subject to be very complex, yet interesting and informative. The information is in-depth and the pictures help to show the techniques described. I feel confident enough to use what I learned for minor relief for pain.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This is beautifully designed and rendered, giving a brief but invested look at acupressure, where it comes from, how it works and the basics of its application. The author has gone to great lengths to remove dogma, providing a sound alternative health approach to Chinese medicine and offers a wealth of experience, tips and advice for anyone interested in pursuing the field. This was a real pleasure to read and I think flicking through a paperback edition would be a particularly pleasant experience.

This is a very interesting and informative guide to acupressure, for both beginners and more advanced practitioners.

This book is not only an introduction to acupressure, but a introduction on Chinese medicine too. The author explains the origins of the acupressure and the simple ways to apply the techniques using the colorful charts included in this book.

As a longtime believer in acupuncture, I’m surprised I’ve never tried acupressure! I’m finding this book to be an excellent guide to beginning to understand how it all works. Right now I’m experiencing a lot of sinus congestion and ear ringing and am using this book to guide me in giving myself some much needed relief.

Thanks to NetGalley, the author and publisher for an advanced reading copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

I enjoyed this started guide for acupressure. While, the focus is on the Eastern Chi, you can look at the illustrations and understand how they work with Western medicine. I already use the facial acupressure points for sinus congestion. Hopefully, this idea will help people look at this real seriousness; it can help.
The book sets you up showing you the points, the pathways in the body and treatment plans in easy to understand drawings.
While some of the issues needs an actual medical doctor (especially fainting), these tools can help lessen symptoms and relieve things in way that just medicine can not.

As a side note, the picture of the author clashes with the femininity of the book design. I'm not saying he can't have a softer side; it just seems like he had nothing to do with the book design. If he did, I apologize for judging!

As a mother I can't tell you how much pain I have in my back, head and lets face it everywhere.

When I saw this pop up for review I knew I had to read this. I am always looking for a natural way to help my body, and mind heal after a long day as mom. Not to mention teach my children how to heal after their long days.

Information is present in a "proven method" however readers need to remember that it is proven to this author but not medical science. The text explains the areas well but the art work is cartoonist and makes it harder to find the location on the body.

The editing, cartoonist art work and font type used in this book will be distracting to most readers and will not take this author or book serious. Which is sad due to the experience and information this author has for readers the editing and design makes it unappealing to mass audience.

I haven't read many books on Acupressure, but this one seems like it'd be better than most. It goes over acupressure technique and various accupressure points. It also recommends points for various conditions. My only complaint is that despite the excellent text and cartoon depictions of the location it can still be hard to picture. I wish that bone formations were used (not just in the text) but in the pictures as it would help me find points better.

Good information for those interested in alternative medicine, but unfortunately everything is presented as scientific facts. The concepts here have never been proven, even though something can be felt, like pain relief. Calling it medicine is therefore misleading.
The layout and figures are beautiful, but some old fashion fonts are not all clear and a little distracting.

This is great information! I love the description of terms and knowledge of where to apply. I also love the extra notes and how it tells you exactly what it can be used for. Very informative. I suffer from migraines, anxiety and back pain. I will be trying these out!
