Thank you Netgalley and the Publisher for my ARC in exchange for my honest review. This was an enjoyable book.
I liked the concept for the story with the matchmaking app and Haley and Nick had chemistry. However, the shorter length of the book left things feeling rushed with time jumps and the occasional telling vs showing when it came to what was happening. I think if this book was just a little longer it would have allowed for the characters to be more fleshed out and their relationship better developed.
Making a bet with your buddies to find a relationship first shouldn’t have been an issue. He was a billionaire after all and had numerous chances to be part of Haley’s matchmaking app. She was desperate for her app to work and swore to herself she wouldn’t get in another relationship with her boss. You know what they say about good intentions? They were a perfect match but would Haley accept it? Great continuation of the series.
Can an App help to find love? Nicholas Hunter takes a chance on Haley Renault to win a bet however finds a better solution in his love.
Ebook from netgalley and publishers with thanks. Opinions are entirely my own.
Another hit in the Leslie North Billionaire series! This one focuses on a billionaire tech company owner and his top programmer, a beautiful single mother. I love how Leslie North books always seem to have babies/kids in them, she definitely has a handle on the single mom genre. The book is the perfect mix of short, steamy and satisfying.

Loved this book very much. It had just enough sweet, sexy romance and the storyline was great! I highly recommend!
One of my new favorite books! This author has such a way with words the pages flew by in no time! I can’t wait to see the next work by this author! This was such a joy to read!
A short, quick, fun read. I really liked Nick, the hero. He and Haley seem like a good match.
Many thanks to NetGalley, the author, and the publisher for my ARC. All opinions are my own.
Truly enjoyed this book. entertaining plot, characters I actually liked, and a satisfying ending. looking forward to reading the others in the series.
This book never really captured my attention. From the very first chapter I felt as if the whole premise behind the bet was juvenile and off-putting. I had a hard time connecting with the characters and the lack of chemistry I found between them. This was a DNF for me, unfortunately.
I received an ARC of this book in exchange for my unbiased review. Thank you NetGalley for the ARC.
I received this book as an arc from Netgalley.
Cute story, characters were believable and conversations between them flowed nicely. Only thing I maybe had a hard time believing was that her baby daddy was a millionaire/billionaire which turned her off from being with Nick.
Haley has worked for Nick for awhile. Haley is a app developer. Nick and Haley work well together but there is a hot chemistry between them that they are both ignoring for their own reasons. For haley she had sworn off men especially millionaires/billionaires. She had a young daughter-Amanda and her father had been a billionaire and he couldn’t get rid of her fast enough she had to sign an a NDA. Haley had been a dreamer but heartbreak made her into a realist. Haley worked her butt off to give her and Amanda a good life. Haley wants to make a name for herself in the Tech world. Nick and Donovan had both went to their friend Brian’s wedding. Nick wanted what Brian had. Both wondered who would marry next. So Donovan and Nick bet a million dollars on who would marry first. Haley had created a matchmaking app. Nick wanted to use Haley’s app to win the bet with Donovan. Nick told Haley to continue her work on her app that she had put aside to help him find a wife. Haley has two months to find Nick a wife. No employees could participate. Haley had to meet with Nick at his home for the data she needed from him. He acted very shallow wanting pictures taken with his many expensive cars, and his mansion. He showed showed her the dogs she loved and took care and he admitted they were rescued dogs whose original owners and abused them. He had ran his sanctuary for seven years. Nick had to be completely honest. The more time Nick and haley spend together feelings start to develop/ After a week Nick had went on two bed dates.Haley and Nick met again to tweak his profile. Nick didn’t tell Haley he had been thinking about her while on the dates. Than Nick asked Haley what her preferences were in a date. She replied no man was worth dating. Then she said maybe he was the last decent man. Than he suggested she match them he would even split the million dollars with hre. She said half a million was not worth a lifetime commitment and she would find him more dates. The next day her daughter Amanda had a fever and Haley called him to say she was working from home as her little girl was sickNick hadn't even known she had a child. She hoped she could match Nick than she could use that to promote her app. Than Nick said he had to meet with her briefly and went to her home and brough groceries, medicine and a doll for Amanda and dinner which happen to have Haley’s favorite food. Than Nick kissed Haley but this couldn’t happen even though inside…. Nick was her boss and she needed her job. Than Haley found the perfect date for Nick-Anna. Nick tried to tell Haley he wanted her but she said she couldn’t give up her app. If the app worked they could market it. Nick starts to get involved with Anna but inside haley doesn’t want to lose him. Nick and Haley end up sleeping together but than haley wants nothing personal to do with Nick so he continues with Anna. Than Haley presents her app to the board and is turned down than she has a fight with Nick and she quits her job.
I enjoyed reading this book even if it was predictable. I liked the pace and plot. I didn’t like how Nick and Donovan betting on finding a woman and getting married. the at was immature of both men if you ask me. But I did love that Nick had an abused dog sanctuary. I didn’t want to put this down as I wanted to see Nick and Haley together and get their H E A. This was a short story but I don’t think feel it lacked anything. I liked that Haley could take digs as well as give them but she did annoy me at times. I thought Amanda was so cute and added to this book. I liked the ending . I think Nick should have went to Haley when she left and talk to hre. But also cut off things with Anna. when he really wanted Haley . I liked the characters and the ins and outs of this book and I recommend it.

2 stars.
This as borderline just ok. I lost interest in it by half way through. I didn't like the characters at all expect Amanda (it says something that my favourite character is the baby...) It just wasn't for me and I didn't enjoy it.
Haley is a single mom with in the tech world. She certainly isn't looking for a happily ever after and has every reason to stay away from rich men. Yet when she develops a matchmaking app who better to try it then her hot, rich boss.
Nick likes to win, when the bet it getting married here's all in. And getting Haley to spend more time with him why he tests the apps effectiveness send like a win/win. Until the lines get crossed and he can't picture himself with any other woman. Breaking down walls is harder than it looks.

This was a fun romance with Nick and Haley. Nick talked with Haley about trying to win the marriage bet so there was no surprise for her there!
You could see the connection between Haley and Nick but Haley just wasn't not going to have anything to do with another rich man. He was so great with her and her daughter that I just wanted to smack some sense into Haley.
Good thing she came to her senses and Nick realized that he could try all day with Anna and it just was not going to work. Great HEA!
Sassy and had me going from the start of the book. I was hooked from book one and this is must read. It had it all.
This is a marvelous story about finding your one and only. Looking for your soulmate is full of bumps and bruises. Ups and downs. The author has created a sweet story so heartwarming and stirring that it’ll give you a satisfying warmth deep in your entire being. Ms. North has a way with words that just wraps you up into whatever world she has created. Authentic characters and fantastic, realistic adventures. Her books are not ones you will want to miss.

This was a cute story, and I enjoyed the characters a bit more than the first book in the series. Nick admitted his feelings first, which was a nice twist, and his soft side was masked by his business persona. Haley was a little more reluctant, and I get why, but she could have given it up a little sooner. A great story and I'm looking forward to the next one.
Nicholas Hunter makes a bet that he’ll get married before his friend does now all he needs is someone to help to find his bride. Enter Haley Renault, Nicholas's sexy employee who is working on a dating app. Nicolas enlists her to help him find the perfect wife.
Haley is a single mother, and a rich man has burned her before when she finds herself growing closer to Nicholas she finds it hard to remind herself that she needs her app to work if she wants to be taken seriously in the development world.
This book is not worth the read. The story was choppy with poor characterisation. I hated Nicholas, even though he feels a connection with Haley and they are sexually active he dates the woman Haley set him up with. When Haley leaves, he continues to date this poor woman for months rather than follow Haley and have a simple conversation with her. There are far better books out there to read. I suggest you find one of them.

I received a copy of this book from NetGalley and I am voluntarily reviewing it.
This was a charming story. The plot flowed smoothly and I couldn't put it down until I finished it. The chemistry between Haley and Nick was there right from the beginning. The light-hearted teasing was fun to see. Haley's daughter was a great addition to the story.
I loved the dual POV that the story was written in. Seeing both sides and the pain that they were going through as they worked their way to their HEA was enlightening.
There are some scenes and language that is more appropriate for a mature reader. I do however highly recommend this book. It is a fun read that does has some angst to it.
