It has been a while since I got this book and unfortunately I don’t really have any interest in reading the book anymore. I am also now a lot more picky with the books I request and choose to read.

Breathe Slower, Deeper, Better by Yael Bloch is a great introduction into breathe work and what it can do for you. The book offers readers insight to different breathing techniques and their benefits.

I was unable to read the advanced copy of this book because it was water marked which made it very difficult to read. I was very disappointed.

The techniques were described well and easy to follow. It was an interesting read that was insightful about breathing.

This is a very good book about breathwork. There are lots of good exercises and illustrations. There is a bit too much scientific info that I found it difficult to wade through but it was worth the effort.

Thanks to NetGalley, the author and publisher for an advanced reading copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

Dealing with mental illness it can be hard to take the time to "catch our breath". This book has great techniques and ideas to learn how to work on your breathing and connect more with your breath and slow down. I do a lot of yoga too which is very much about breathing and connecting with your body and breathing. This book brought it to another level and I really enjoyed it.

As a speech language pathology graduate student who works with voice patients often, the first thing we talk about is breathing. So I was glad that this book goes into the anatomy of breathing and helps people identify their breathing patterns. I would highly recommend.

This is a short little book that talks about proper breathing with lots of yoga exercises to help. The author says that most people breathe wrong, including people who believe they are breathing right. She doesn't do a very thorough job of telling exactly why it matters. There are bits of information in the exercises about benefits (one helps strengthen the pelvic floor and one helps prepare for public speaking, she says), but I'd probably be more inclined to do all of her exercises if she had a list of reasons this really matters. For those who are already on a quest to breathe properly and who are very interested in the subject, this will be a great resource.

I read a temporary digital ARC for the purpose of review.
