I love this entire collection of poetry books from cats and dogs, so I am not surprised I also really enjoyed ALL CATS ARE INTROVERTS. It’s going to make a great gift for the cat lovers in my life. The poems in this one are a little deeper than in some of the others, but all are still hysterical.
Francesco Marciuliano has made a career out of books made for cat lovers. If you loved I Could Pee on This – then you absolutely need to check out their next book, All Cats Are Introverts.
All Cats Are Introverts will be especially delightful for the cat lovers of the world who also consider themselves to be introverts. The nuanced humor will ring true for many a cat owner – resulting in chuckles and nods in agreement.
This is a light and fun read; exactly like it was designed for. The book is full of fun and cute poems (with lots of catty sass) and absolutely adorable cat photos. So it really is perfect for the cat (or book) lover. The humor in this short book is spot on, and will resonate with any introvert looking for a light and humorous escape.
All Cats Are Introverts will make a fun addition to any collection, or an excellent and cute gift for any quirky friends you may have.
Great cat photos, paired with poetry that resonates with introverts....with feline antics/humor as the hook. Perfect book for a quick chuckle, mood elevator, or gift for a cat-crazy friend.
I absolutely loved this book! The poems and pictures prove once and for all that cats aren't the extroverts many people think they are. They want their quiet time to ponder the little and big things in life, and their actions are quite calculated.
I loved the choice of photos that go along with the poems. They are a perfect fit!
I own "I Could Pee On That" by this author, and so was excited to read this collection of introvert poems. I wasn't disappointed! It has the perfect combination of cuteness and humor, and reminded me why myself, an introvert human, connects so deeply with this fuzzy little creatures. If you're looking for a feel-good, relaxing read with some beautiful photos of cats, then this is the book for you!
All Cats Are Introverts by Francesco Marciuliano was just as good as I Could Pee on This. The poems are well written and enjoyable to read. The pictures were cute. The poems were easy to relate to for human introverts as well.
I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This was a cute, fun book. I enjoyed the poems and the pics were pretty good too. Great for any cat lover!
This was a wonderful and fun read! I thoroughly recommend it to kids, adults, and generally people of all ages, but who love cats. Sometimes I even thought the author was able to get inside cats' minds as I myself am a cat parent and have often thought my own has the same thoughts like those in these poems. Wonderful!
This was cute and at times, very funny. It wasn't my favorite thing though. Glad I read it, but not sure I would recommend it.

I really enjoyed reading Claw The System last year, so I knew I had to read All Cats Are Introverts as soon as I first saw it. I know I don't read a lot of poetry, but give me cat photos, give me humor and give me a relatable topic and I'm sold. As a true introvert and a cat owner, it was extremely easy to relate to the poems included in this bundle. I literally laughed out loud multiple times, my own cat Delilah Bard frowning at me as apparently I was making too much noise to her liking. The dry, sometimes slightly sarcastic humor is right up my alley and some poems definitely have a mean pun. The cat photos in this bundle are of a high quality and it shows that they have been chosen carefully as they suit each poem extremely well. The poems themselves are simple, but with an original twist as they are all written from the point of view of a cat. Cat owners, cat lovers and introverts alike will be able to relate to the contents of All Cats Are Introverts and this poetry bundle will make an excellent gift.
This book was hilarious! The poems are so true and relatable from both a cat's and an introvert's perspective. My favorites were "Wanted", "I'm Not Shy", and "I Hear You"! I also love looking pictures of all the cats. Just a quick, fun read.
As always, cats are hilarious. I think cat adoration is worse than a disease. The day I brought my cat home I was infected and now find that I love every piece of cat content I come across.
This book had me laughing the entire time. In addition to the gorgeous photography, the poems are quite clever and often contain a little twist at the end. If you need a smile and love cats, then give yourself a treat and buy this book.
Review to be posted on my blog and goodreads early October.

OMG, a brand-new Francesco Marciuliano! I just LOVE his books of poetry about cats (and dogs). Sure, his last book wasn't for me, but this one was back to the books I love and of which I have a nice collection of on my shelves. This one will definitely join its friends when it is out. :)
Once again poems about cats! I just love how with some it could be about anything, but then the last sentences and you know it is about a cat (for instance the one which ends with the cat walking over a sandwich with mustard). But quite often you just instantly know it is about a cat. Talking about their tails, about murdering that bird just outside the window, the christmas ornaments (we all know cats LOVE those), hairballs, annoying owners and their habits that astound the cats, dogs and butting certain parts of humans and how dogs get away with and cats.. .well don't, and more. It was a delight to read and then there were wonderful photographs of cats again. I was looking forward to those, I knew that Francesco Marciuliano wouldn't disappoint.
The poetry is well written, it really flows, it contains humour, and it is all true. I don't have a cat myself (allergic), but I have friends with cats either online or offline and believe me cats are really the way they are written here. :P
Of course there is a theme, namely what the title says: cats are introverts and we see that pop up quite often in the poems. Cats hiding out in the toilet, or hiding in a blanket fortress, or not knowing how to introduce themselves. I could definitely relate to several of the things mentioned in here. And no, I am not a cat (at least not that I know).
I would highly recommend this funny cat book to everyone. I can't wait for the next book by this author.
This is great fun. I enjoyed the fantastic photos and layout work more than the text, but that is quite good as well. A very good little good. I defy anyone to give it less than 4 stars.
I really appreciate the advanced copy for review!!
The concept is good and the photos of cats throughout are the best part. The poems were only mildly enjoyable for me. Apparently the author has an audience, I'm just not really it.

All Cats are Introverts by Francesco Marciuliano, a great hilarious read of poems written from the cats point of view. If you like cats and poems you will love this book!
2.5 stars.
The concept — "cats are hilariously relatable to human introverts" — is solid, and I really enjoyed the derpy cat photos throughout the book. However, the poems were pretty formulaic, especially for free verse: the vast majority relied on parallelism and ended with a punchline "twist", usually riffing on one of maybe five already-overused jokes about cat behavior. The lack of punctuation also made it difficult to tell whether I had reached the end of the poem since ADE only let me view one page at a time, which threw off my reading.
Additionally, knowing that this is supposed to be viewed through a cat's perspective made some of the poems just ... weird? I know people tend to personify pets, but I just have a hard time believing that a cat would really think some of these things.
This cute little gift book from the author of "I Could Pee on This" links introverts with the animals who most resemble them: cats. Each poem in the book is narrated by a cat (and sometimes even written on a keyboard with cat feet)The humorous poems it includes focus on the joy cats (and introverts) find during their alone time by exploring such feline fare as: sitting on the remote, getting stuck behind the refrigerator, self care, sparkling poo, and destroying the fish tank. Introverts will enjoy being understood and cat lovers will enjoy the many photographs that are matched with the poems! A perfect book to put in a gift basket for your favorite introvert or cat owner.
This is a book of poems through the eyes of cats that had me laughing out loud. Cats have been misunderstood all this time! They aren't judgmental rather they are introverts- who knew? The book is full of beautiful pictures of cats. What a delight to read! I will definitely be sharing this book with others once it is published.
