Each page is filled with cute little snippets of life. If you want something quick to read that is relatable and will make you smile, this is the perfect collection for you. The simplicity of the art allows the reader to not feel overwhelmed, and makes it easy to comprehend what’s happening.
This was such a cute graphic novel on love and partnership. I loved the simple illustrations and the story of what it's like to with someone. It definitely brought back memories of how it was when my husband and I were dating and were first married.

My boyfriend and i have followed Catana comics for quite some time now, and we always find them humourous and relatable, we are always saying their relationship seems similar to ours. This book lived up to my expecatations and gave me the same warm feeling i always get when i see Catanas comics, full disclosure i'm already biased and have even purchased one of their calenders as an anniversary gift before.
This book is extremely wholesome and adorable, i could easily imagine grabbing a coffee, or getting comfy on the couch, and going through this with an SO seeing which comics you relate to the most! it reminds you of all the great parts of being in a relationship.
I am a huge fan of Catana Comics and this collection is no different. Her work is just so relatable. I found myself pausing every couple of pages to show my husband this one, then that one, usually echoed with a “oh we have done that”, “yup, that’s true” and an occasional “damn has this woman been watching us, as this is just how we act!” I think she has just captured how great it is be in that kind of loving relationship. Her own intro to this collection says it best
We hope that reading this book brings a smile to your face and maybe even a quick “look” in the direction of your significant other.
It certainly did being a smile to my face and I am sure it will for all that read it. If you are currently building your anticipated reads of 2020 this one should be one it for sure. It comes out the fourth of February and would make an excellent Valentines gift for someone special too!
Very cute comics about relationships, self-acceptance, and enjoying life. Readers of Valérie Minelli and Philippa Rice will enjoy.
There’s only one word for this comic collection, “Adorable!” Snug shows little vignettes from the life of a super cute couple, John and Catana. This was just pure fun to read! I recommend it for anyone who loves loves or just wants to fell snug.
Snug: A Collection of Comics about Dating Your Best Friend by Catana Chetwynd
4 stars
Snug is a collection of comic strips from a famous webcomic artist who focuses on making cute strips about her and her partner’s relationship. She and her boyfriend have been the chuckle of many shared Facebook posts. At least that’s how I become familiar with her comic strips. When I saw the book was available for review on Netgalley, I jumped at the chance to check it out. Y’all, this book was CUTE. The comic strips are funny and sweet. There are times when I couldn’t stop laughing, but there were also times when all I could say was, “Awe.” I recommend this collection if you are fan of Catana’s comics or if you just like reading feel-good stuff. I tend to read and gravitate towards darker novels, so this was a sweet palate cleanser. Some of my favorite strips were the fortune cookie, the leftovers note, lost in conversation, I want pasta, when I’m cold, telling a story, and there were so many more I enjoyed, but I won’t bore you by listing them all. Go check the book out for yourself!
I have also never related as much to a comic strip as I do with the “Why did I come in here?” strip. That was so relatable.

As always, I freaking love everything Catana has done! The cute little pictures and realistic scenarios!
SYNOPSIS | As the title states, this comic collection focuses on the day to day aspects of dating your best friend.
MY THOUGHTS | I loved Catana Chetwynd's earlier comic collection (Little Moments of Love) and this one was equally wonderful. She does an amazing job of documenting the day to day aspects of some of the quirky elements of a relationship and some of them hit the nail on the head so much that I found myself chuckling along and shoving them in my husbands face to laugh with me. I especially connected with the one about the fortune cookie predicting a lifetime or back rubs, the lying down on the bed during the getting ready process and healthy eating after eating a pizza.
I really wanted to like this book but its just a bunch of comics put together in no particular order. They aren't even organized well according to themes and stuff. The comics were cute but I didn't lie them as a compilation as thy stood out as an individual post but together in a book it wasn't that interesting. The book presented random instances not a building of a story, or comic or even a graphic novel.
I have seen these comics on Facebook here and there so I was already familiar with the idea. I enjoyed this collection, it was a cute and quick read for me. Catana makes comics about relationship life that are both cute and relatable which explains their large following.

This is the cutest graphic novel I have ever read. The adorable story as well as the art work is just perfect. This is one of those cutesy stories that you just need to get your hands on. The adorable story with the simplistic art just made my heart happy. I loved it so much.
Thank you kindly to the author, the publisher, and NetGalley for allowing me to review this title.
Catana Comics is a favorite of mine and I love the theme behind this one. I see so much of my fiancé and myself in each of these. I cannot wait until I can get a physical copy for us to have.
Every page of the book was so adorable that I felt like it should not end. Things were relatable, they were worth remembering and worth sharing as well.
Highly recommended for some light and soft reading.
This is a book of gently amusing comics about a relationship. Reflective of every day life and mostly sweet, this book will be enjoyed by those who know the ups and downs of daily life with a significant other.
Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for this title in exchange for an honest review.
Wow, how stinking cute was this? I've always loved seeing these little comics online, and to have a bind up of a bunch of them just brings a warm, fuzzy feeling to you with a cheesy grin. Anyone who has been in a relationship can relate to the feelings this comic bind up gives you. I loved how simple the art was too!

Catana Chetwynd's new comic book, "Snug" is a humorous look at falling in love with your best friend. This comic book is a quirky, funny look at modern love with all the weirdness and the wonderful parts of love in the 21st century.
The illustrations are fun and beautiful, the various scenarios are totally relatable and you can read the whole book in one sitting. It is also a fun book that you could come back to for a reminder of why you love your partner over and over.

I love everything Catana creates, ever. All of it. Always. I was so excited to see that she had another collection coming out, and I can hardly wait to buy a physical copy to put next to her last collection on my shelf. Her comics are relatable, and fun, and cute, and I just love them so much. I am incapable of looking at them without insisting that my husband stop what he is doing so I can immediately show him “another adorable Catana comic! BABE! LOOK! ITS SO CUTE!”
If you need a quick smile and only have a few seconds, this new collection is the perfect place to turn. Just open to literally any page.
This was a very cute comic which, in my opinion, is a very accurate depiction of a healthy relationship. A perfect 20 minute mood-booster.
Thank you to Netgalley, the publisher and author for this ARC copy.
