I loved this very much! The characters, the actions and even the plot itself! Very inspiring for my own book too!
I had already given up smoking with the aid of another book, but it was interesting to read some other techniques and advice. A useful resource for anyone looking to quit.
Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for sharing this guide to quitting smoking. I think the authors have a wealth of knowledge about their subject, yet overall I didn’t find the book that compelling. Or not enough to make me want to quit smoking any more than I did previously. I think their methods and suggestions would work best in person not on the page.
It's interesting and I appreciated the ex-smoker stories but unfortunately I don't think it can be useful for me.
Not my cup of tea.
Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine.
The book starts with remarkably personal stories of how different people quit smoking. There are two chapters that walk readers through how they can set up their own quit plan. The advice is positive and actionable. Seems very realistic. The book also includes a health information section with medial information. The authors clearly have authority and expertise in their field.
This book was ok but I think I was expecting more. The stories from ex smokers on why they stopped was interesting, but just because it worked for them may not help the reader much. The premise was good, just don’t know how helpful it will be to individuals. Thanks to Netgalley, the author and the publisher for the arc of this book in return for my honest opinion. Receiving the book in this manner had no bearing on my review.
