This story was fast paced and well written. The characters find love and everything works out well in the end.
The book is set in Irish times. I was looking to read the Irish brogue, but the book didn’t give it. The story has some interest to it. It’s easy to read. I found the characters enjoyable. They brought good entertainment to the love story. The story reads at a fast pace and seems to hold people’s attention.
I loved this book for three factors: Irish theme, romance and an ancient course!
The book was well written. The story easy to follow and since it made me swoon over the characters in this book I am giving it a 5 star review! It totally deserves it!
This book has a lot going on. If you like romance mixed with an ancient prophecy then pick up this book! I liked the main characters and enjoyed the book overall.
I enjoyed reading this book because I like historical novels and also anything to do with Ireland. There was enough twists and turns in the story to keep me interested. I recommend this book to be read if you like historical novels .
An Englishman arrives in Ireland to check on family holdings, but stops at an inn to wait for repairs on his brother's carriage. The carriage bears the family crest and naturally everyone would think he's a lord. Only Simon is the spare and is only there as a favor for his brother. Plied with ale, Simon finds himself married to an Irish lass to fulfill a prophecy. Throw in a possible murder, misunderstandings, eleven brothers, an annoying prophecy, and some humor for a delightful love story of an Irish lass and a former English privateer. I voluntarily read and reviewed a copy of this book.

I enjoyed reading this book. I like romances and historical fiction. This book includes both. I did like the odd way that they get together, but I was lost as to why he was so upset about his brother's death and why he accused his brothers-in-law. He hated his brother, yet he was respectful of his new family. To me, it seemed out of character. From what he told us before in the book, he should have been doing a jig.
To Steal an Irish Heart promises a romantic story with an Irish twist.
We are introduced to Roanne O'Casey who is forced to marry an English lord because of some ancient prophecy. Their attraction to each other grows despite the unusual start to their relationship. The story blends romance, intrigue and murder.
While I am sure that this book will appeal to fans of romantic novels, it did not steal my Irish heart.
I found that the plot was unrealistic, the characters one dimensional. The book was not to my taste.
