File next to Philippa Rice books – at least they're with the same publishers. This is a warm selection of cartoon vignettes – sometimes just one image, sometimes stretching to a third page, that convey young married love – snuggling in bed or under the duvet on the sofa, learning to love someone's snore, and thinking planning the day to be fully productive is ever a good idea. I've seen this kind of book be horrendously awful – smug, not engaging and full of absolutely no realism at all (ooh, hello, Catana Chetwynd – didn't see you there). This is none of those things, although it does of course make liberal use of rose-tinted glasses. It does end with the same reason I think I'm done with Ms Rice, unfortunately – but with her three quite different topics so far (books, and social insecurity and self-exclusion before this) it may be Mrs Tung is my favourite.

I finished it within 1 hour. The graphics and illustrations were great. The moments relatable and quirky. I loved that the author showed new situations instead of showing ones that are already out there. It was 162 pages of pure fun and nostalgia. If you are bored and want something light and cheery then take this one without hesitation.

A very cute look at the beginning of a marriage in comics. While some are more relatable than others, the experiences cover many aspects and I think all couples will find some part that reminds them of their own relationship. This would make a cute gift for new couples as well.

I thought that this was really sweet, and it certainly had some very cute relatable moments I could take on board and see in my own relationship. With that being said, it felt as though this was more of a diary entry series rather than one that could be read with some humor. It was very much focused on just snippets of life, which is very sweet and comforting, but it could have benefited from just a little bit more of a humorous touch! The reviews seem to suggest that this is a fairly common feeling and that the author’s first books pick up on that a little more, so I’ll do my best to get my hands on them.

As soon as I saw Debbie Tung had a new collection coming out I had to get my hands on it. I've read her two previous books and loved them and this one was no different. This one deals with married life and how she and her husband interact with each other as well as the outside world. It is super relatable and perfectly illustrates how relationships can be when you've found your person.

Debbie Tung is great at portraying what it's like to live with anxiety and being an introvert - and how it is to have someone in your life who gets you. Her signature art style is great for her slice of life comics. This one is definitely a great addition to her collection of books.

Debbie Tung never disappoints. This graphic novel was cute and relatable. I read it with my husband, and we enjoyed a lot of good laughs over the humor of every day life of newly married couples. Highly recommend for a short, sweet series of vignettes about married life.

This lovely graphic novel totally exceeded my expectations. I needed something that I could mentally dip in and out of, focus on easily during a weird and distracted time of quarantine, and this hit every point on that list! As a married person, it was relatable without being trite, heartfelt without being saccharine. This is definitely an author I’ll keep on my radar!

Happily Every After & Everything in Between is the 2nd book that I've read by Debbie Tung. I had previously read her earlier book Book Love. Like Book Love, Happily Ever After... is a collection of short comics about the author's life. In this book she focuses on her life as a newlywed.

The comics are cute and sweet and since they are short 1 page comics, it is easy to pick this book up as you have small spare moments of time. Or you can read it all the way through in less than an hour. If you're in a relationship, you will see lots of things to relate to in here.

An adorable comic that I could find myself relating to within my relationship. The characters are expressive, notions pure, and circumstances realistic, endearing, and honest. I will definitely be considering purchasing this as a wedding or anniversary gift for my friends! #HappilyEverAfterEverythingInBetween #NetGalley

I ENJOYED EVERY SINGLE PAGE OF THIS BOOK.

This never happens to me! And listen, I am not married, nor in a relationship, nor anywhere close to it but this book makes me want to be. This is just the most wholesome, positive experience of reading about a couple I have ever had and I am pretty sure I 'aww'ed aloud multiple times. Absolute Relationship Goals. I especially enjoyed that there were no traces of any stereotypical gender-role related incidents that make me instantly squirm, nor was there the constant presentation of a relationship that is all roses and chocolates. THERE ARE FART JOKES. And I have never laughed so hard in my life.

This comic collection is an absolute gem for literally anyone. I cannot think of a single person I would not recommend this to and hope that lots and lots of people will get the joy of living with these characters for a little while.

I had the very best time reading this so I cannot give it anything BUT 5 stars. For making me laugh, making me relate and for making me believe that a thing such as true love does exist.

I read this in one night and I've never seen any of the authour's comics before so I wasn't sure what to expect. I found that most of the comics were very relatable. However, this comic is about the couple's life together since they got married and it's different than the other comics I've read with similar topics because they document even the simplest and boring moments. There were tiny bits of humour scattered throughout the book but it just felt like a monotonous read because even the totally mundane aspects of their relationship were made into comics, which I guess was the point. One thing that kept confusing me was the format of the comics. I read this on my kobo which only shows one page at a time so I thought each page was a separate comic but then I would go to the next page and there'd be a continuation. Also the author says that the comic is about an introvert married to an extrovert but you barely see any evidence of his 'extrovertedness'. There are plenty of instances where we see the author and wife as an introvert but her husband also seems like an introvert as well. Overall this was a fun and cute read but it was just a tad bit boring as well.

This book was so cute! I loved it. It reminded me of the cute "Love is" cartoons. While reading this book there were so many pages that reminded me of my husband and I. I couldn't help but relate and share them with him. This book is heart warming and will leave you feeling blissfully happy.

"What's the point of having a husband if he doesn't buy you books?"

A cute yet relatable book about married life and its everyday moments! The title is very apt as romance, as shown in this book, does not end with marriage. In fact, it's the little things that count, and which we find joy and comfort in. It also reminds you to be grateful for your partner and what the two of you share. The simple and clean art suited the book and its content. All in all, a sweet and delightful read.

Thank you Netgally and the author for the gifted copy. All thoughts are completely my own.

As a person who was married in my early 20s I thought this book was spot on. It's hilarious! I laughed so much. It's extremely relatable.

I think if you are in a longterm relationship this would resonate with you. I highly recommend it. It's a very quick read.

"Him: I found that new book you wanted! I'll get it for you.
Her: Oh, you don't have to do that.
Him: Nonsense! I'll place an order.
Her: You know, you don't have to feel obliged to get me books.
Him: What's the point of having a husband if he doesn't buy you books?
Her: *hugs*"

I can always count on Andrews McMeel to publish best works when it comes to comics and poetry! I have read a couple more books just like this and this one had the cutest illustrations ever! I haven't seen more perfect comics: this had the most beautiful and heartwarming comics depicting the tiny moments in the marriage to the huge moments of it in the most heart-touching way possible! Funny and adorable, this makes it this most perfect reads to engaged and married people! Or you can always read this for fun as I did or with your loved one!

I loved and I enjoyed this! The only reason I am giving this one 4 stars is that I have read similar moments. But this one is worth all the stars it can get!

The ARC of this book was provided by the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

A very sweet look into the author's newlywed life. I'm more partial to the author's first two books that focused on introversion and book love... but I will read anything Debbie Tung publishes! She's fun and relatable. I've been hoping another book would come out, so I was SO happy to see this was coming out. It was a nice, cozy break during a too-busy day and stressful month.
