The Buzz Books for Fall/Winter of 2020 are exciting and no two are alike. So many exciting books over various genres to view. It always gives me an idea of what to request on Netgalley.

This was great the perfect blend of fiction and nonfiction, a wide variety of genres, and a lot of diversity. I also loved how there was a debut section because I love reading debuts! Looking forward to reading so many of these titles!

The Buzz Books 2020: Fall/Winter guide could not have come at a better time! Since many libraries across the nation are only allowing pick ups, meaning patrons cannot go in and browse what is new, it is more important than ever to have reliable reading suggestions in one convenient place. Whether you enjoy fiction or nonfiction titles, this guide has suggestions for all readers organized under headings such as "Emerging Voices,"
"Debut," and "Highly Anticipated." I have already added many titles to my "Want to Read" lists on Litsy and Goodreads.

Quite a few books caught my attention in both the nonfiction and fiction genres. Those books including:
1. When the Apricots Bloom by Gina Wilkinson
2. Can't Even: How Millennials Became the Burnout Generation by Anne Helen Petersen
I'm looking forward to adding these to my TBR!
Thank you for sharing new titles so early on!

This was a great overview of upcoming books. I was already granted an eARC for Can't Even and I put another couple of books on my TBR 🙂

This is such a great resource for everyone from casual readers to journalists covering the industry! It's definitely something that is needed right now (i.e. the pandemic) and even though I'm sure there will be some date changes involved, it's still good to know what's slated to come through the book publishing pipeline.

Love this! It really helps me plan out what I will be reading/writing about in the coming months. I especially appreciate that it includes a wide array of future releases!

I love buzz books. When I have time to read more than just the material by authors I love who have written books I haven't read yet, I delve into new material and always always find a new favorite. Thanks to virtual BEA I am particularly looking forward to Ayad Akhtar and Matt Haig as my new authors to meet. But first I must jump into books by Alice H, Sue M, Yaa G, Emma C, and so forth. Thanks so much for these crumbs to sample before I eat the whole cake.

I look forward to Buzz Books each season. I love to know what's on the horizon, update my TBR, and generally fuel my anticipation. This time, Buzz Books filled a deeper need in my reading life. With the bookstores and libraries closed during the COVID-19 shutdown, Buzz Books became more valuable as a guide to new releases. Just keep in mind that the publication dates of some titles have changed due to the impact of the virus on various aspects of the industry.

This book had great books out of genres that I would not normally read. I love these types of books that give me sneak peeks at new books coming out

A great cross section of upcoming works from all genres. Very helpful in planning fall reading and finding books that appeal.

This book was very helpful in discovering new authors and titles to introduce to my bookclubs. It is divided into categories and most books have a summary and excerpts.

I think I look forward to the Buzz Books release almost as much as I look forward to some book releases. As always, a pleasure to read and discover debut authors, new releases and get a feel for what my TBR list might look like later this year. Some of the selections, especially the "Most Anticipated" ones look REALLY good and I have already put in requests for them. I am also very fond of some of the releases in Science and Technology. There are a lot of up-and-coming books on climate change that I have been eager to read.

It's great to see what new books are on the horizon for this fall. I really enjoyed this overview and marked a few books to look for on netgalley. I'm most excited about the new book by Matt Haig, I'm hoping I'll get to read it early on here.

Always great to get a look at upcoming books for next season. Will reference it throughout the summer for new titles.

It's always great to see a Buzz Books because it can help you know what's coming out and plan your requests. My feedback rate is terrible because when I first started requesting books, I thought, "Wow, this is awesome, I'm going to get all the books!" and was never able to read everything. With the Buzz Books, I can see which authors I"ll want to request so I don't get overloaded.

Really excited by some of the books in the coming year, especially the new Alice Hoffman, Elena Ferrante and Ken Follett

Many thanks to NetGalley and Publisher’s Lunch for an ARC in exchange for an honest book review. All thoughts and opinions are 100% my own and independent of receiving an advance copy.
Publishing has been in a bit of a funk lately (like everything else) because of COVID. Book releases have been delayed and even though there have been new releases, there hasn’t been the huge spring/summer influx that we have seen in previous years.
This has been a shot in the arm that I needed to get excited about the new books coming out in the fall/winter season. Of course, my TBR list took a bit hit. It had been looking pretty sparse lately, not that I was complaining, but it was nice to get excited about upcoming new releases. There are a couple of advantages that Buzz Books offers. One, it is a one stop shopping catalogue, if you enjoy going through the long list. The list is divided up into sections, making it easy to pick what you like. For example, if you aren’t into nonfiction, politics, then you can easily skip that section.
I waded through the first few categories which are basically all fiction, it is just split up into things like Debut authors, Highly Anticipated, Emerging Voices. For me, that is all one big category. The other thing I love about Buzz Books is that it has Commercial Fiction, which helps me stay up-to-date on all of my series that have new books coming out. This season there is John Grisham, Michael Connelly, Jeffrey Archer, Sandra Brown, Janet Evanovich, Vince Flynn, Robert Galbraith, Ken Follett, Danielle Steel, Elin Hilderbrand, Mary Higgins Clark, and Lisa Jewell just to name a few.
There was a nice selection of excerpts from upcoming releases that you can read a few chapters from and get a sense of whether or not you would like to add it to your list. These are lesser known authors but ones that have a lot of positive buzz around their releases. If you are a member of NetGalley you can click through and request an ARC for those you are interested in. Sometimes, if you are lucky, the link will allow you to read it rather than make a request.
This fall there might not be the plethora of books they usually release, but there is still an abundance of great books in every genre. I really am excited for the upcoming season because if we are under quarantine again, at least I will have some new books to keep me company.

A few good ones in the debut section, can’t say l like most of the books. Some of the young adults writers had promise but a lot of the fiction writers were a bit old formula for there beginnings. Most where hard to get into.

This was my first time reading one of these and I couldn't read it fast enough. So many more books for my TBR pile. Love the summaries and snippets of upcoming books.
Thanks so much to Netgalley for my ebook copy.
