I'm literally obsessed with bubble tea. I hate to buy it frequently because it's just gets so expensive. This book is an absolute GOLD MINE of detailed recipes paired with mouth-watering photographs.
Not only does this book contain recipes for all of my favorite drinks and more, but they come from an established Asian American bubble tea shop. Getting my hands on this book seriously feels like your favorite restaurant just gave you all their secret recipes for that favorite dish. I mean, it's unbelievable.
I can't wait to try literally every recipe in this prefect little book.

I am obsessed with all things tea, and that certainly includes the bubble tea variety. I was so excited when I seen this book was available to request, as I've always wanted to learn a little more about the delicious drink that I know and love!!
This book holds the story of two business partners and how they came to be in the boba business. It was really interesting and inspiring to hear about how they've built their business, but also a little about their failures and how hard that can actually be. Their recipes sound AMAZING, and if I was in LA I'd be on the way to their store right now.
I'm not sure how adept I would be at making the boba themselves. But it was still wonderful to learn more about them. I think it'll definitely be something fun to try one day. In the meantime, I can't wait to try a few of the milk tea recipes, as that's the best part of a bubble tea.
I can't fault this one, it was exactly what I wanted. It wasn't too heavy on the details for a beginner like myself, and everything sounds delicious and I want one of everything and I want it right now!
When I started this book, I had no idea that it would be more than your typical focused cookbook. I loved that the book started with their origin story and the ups and downs of their business. Of course, they go into the history of boba and all the many different types of drinks that can be made in this "genre" of beverage.
The silly thing for me reading this book is I am a huge fan of milk tea, but not a huge fan of boba or the bubbles. I have tried it so many different ways and while I love milk tea and honey milk tea, the bubbles just don't do it for me. I still enjoyed reading this book and learning the ins and outs of this beverage.
A cool cookbook for fans of boba or bubble tea! I really liked that it taught and provided recipes and suggestions for each stage of making a delicious bubble tea! I have saved a few of the recipes and can't wait to try them out in the future!
Thank you to netgalley and the publishers for providing me with an arc for an honest review.
I adore tea, so when I read BOBA’s 50 delicious recipes and swooned over the gorgeous color photos, I knew I’d found nirvana. You’ll rely on natural ingredients to make these “bubble” teas that originated in Taiwan, including milk, fruit, or specialty teas along with sinful Sip 'N' Dips crafted with ice cream. My faves are the Watermelon + Strawberry Black Tea and the Black Tea topped with vanilla ice cream. Yum!!

What a wonderful book. I learned so much from about bubble tea. I am not sure I can make boba myself. I get too easily distracted to watch a pot carefully. I am very excited to try new and varied flavors of bubble tea now.
