#NetGalley #TheEverythingEasyDashDiet
Special thanks to Netgalley and Adam's Media for providing me with ARC.
What I love the most about this book, that the introduction is talking about your health and how to choose good food for your day specially those people who spend a lot of hours outside home.
This book contains healthy recipes that melted my mouth 😍😍
This will be a good cookbook for those who want easy to follow recipes that use the DASH diet (low salt and fat, high fruits, veggies, white flour and low-fat dairy). Nutritional information is provided for each recipe, but there are not very many photos. There are many chapters, including one for vegetarian/vegan recipes. It's pretty standard mainstream DASH diet advice and uses ingredients like egg whites and white flour in its Sunday morning waffles. It will not be a great fit for people with dietary allergies like gluten and dairy, and there are no icons or substitutions listed to make those recipes easy to identify or adapt. There is also no mention of issues like GMOs, organic foods or helpful herbs and spices. Canola oil is the oil of choice in most recipes. This is not a diet that I personally think a lot of but it is well recommended by mainstream doctors and many people have had good luck in using it to manage issues like high blood pressure. If you're interested in following this diet, this will be a good resource as long as you don't mind the lack of photos.
I read a temporary digital ARC of this book for review.
Thank you NetGalley for my arc. Very informative cookbook that feature a lot of recipes that I plan on trying out. Lots of variety too!
Very nice book with lots of great recipes. It explains what the DASH diet is and then there are recipes for breakfast, appetizers and snacks, meats, vegetarians, sides and desserts. A few recipes have photos and the book is very organized. I received a free digital copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review
