I thought this book was fun. It took a very old Indian text and reworked it into simple to read language and fun illustrations. It was a quick read. It addressed adapting the text to the modern gender spectrum. I will say though that the logistical descriptions were not clear to imagine putting them to use. I think the illustrations could have been better expanded to help with logistical positioning and movements. Overall it was 3 stars and would have been more if the directions had been better illustrated and described.

Wouldn’t download properly, so unable to give a fair review. Have given three stars as an average, so it can be disregarded.

Rating: 4.5⭐

This is quite descriptive and well-illustrated so I enjoyed reading it. The book is quite diverse and I believe has quotes from the original text but has a modern twist on it. I will say, I haven't read the original Kama Sutra so I cannot fully compare but I still really enjoyed how informative this was.

Would I Read It Again? Yes
Would I Recommend it? Yes

I thought this guide was great - it turned a slightly intimidating topic into something super accessible, fun and inclusive. It's really interesting to follow and covers areas such as feminism and boundaries. I really love this series of books and recommend all of them.

Oh yes, this was a fabulous one.

Very informative and an interesting read, a different take on most books about the Kama Sutra but with a modern twist, the book itself has a good layout and is a very good step by step way to explain through instructions but also twinned well with some wonderful illustrations.

A really fabulous explanation of how women can find pleasure but using a modern take on it, makes it much easier to apply.

With thanks to Netgalley, Publishers and the author, I really enjoyed this free ARC in return I have given an honest review, all opinions are my own.

Now this was a very interesting book 😜 "Press Here! Kama Sutra for Beginners" by Michelle Pauli. This new addition was very informative and engaging adaptation of the Kama Sutra for Beginners especially as it included the same-sex and nonbinary couples. Which was great.

Thanks to Netgalley, the author and the publisher for the arc of this book in return for my honest review

5/5 stars! I loved this book. First of all, as a member of the LGBTQ+ community who is currently in a M/F relationship, I loved how this book tried to adapt this to all types of couples. I appreciate the representation. Further, I thought this book was very useful in actually teaching you different concepts, why they're important, and the traditions behind them. I definitely learned a lot and loved reading this book with my partner!

This is a prefect book for those who have no idea what Kama Sutra. The book modern without the pictures but drawing that will give readers and their partners something fun to try. The story gives the readers a history of the Kama Sutra and the reason people use this as a way to spice up the bedroom but still with romance and love.

Thank you to Netgalley.

This book attempts to summarize the information contained in the Kama Sutra, which was originally written hundreds of years ago, while also modernizing some of the ideas and adding pictures as guidelines. The introduction mentions that obviously societal norms are very different now than they were when the original Kama Sutra was written, and so the reader should consider this before reading.

The book contains two chapters; Chapter 1, “The Sensual Body and Mind” is divided into 11 sections, while Chapter 2 “Positions” is divided into 23 sections. Chapter 1 contains advice about loving your own body, grooming, the art of wooing, embracing, massage, kissing and more. Chapter 2 list various positions, with descriptions and pictures of each. Throughout the book, there are direct quotes of old text, followed by a more modern translation and explanations.

The book is very short and easy to read, and the pictures are definitely helpful in figuring out where everything is supposed to be. It was interesting to me to read the advice from hundreds of years ago, and marvel at how much still remains valid and applicable today. I wish the book was available in digital form, but that is really my only complaint.

First I want to thank netgalley and the publisher for letting me read this in exchange for my honest review.

Press Here was my first ever introduction to karma sutra and it really opened my eyes to how deep intimacy really is between partners. As someone in a relationship, it’s easy to forget the intimate needs and wants of the other person. Press Here introduced ways so that both partners feel not just a physical intimate connection, but also a spiritual and emotional one between each other. I’ve taken many things out of this and will be using them in my personal life and relationships.

This book is an excellent book for an introduction to the wonders of kama sutra. It is easy to read/understand and reiterates to the reader that intimacy is a very important part of a sexual relationship. I think it will bring couples great enjoyment and bring them closer together.

I enjoyed this beginner's book for Karma Sutra. The authors o a great job about remind the reading this isn't just about sex. It's about sensuality and intimacy within your relationship and sex life. So readers really need not skip these parts.. Foreplay is important and there are sections on how to turn something that is "preperformance" into an act all its own. The actual intercourse is explained simply and has colorful pictures that show what is going on. I love the variety of ethnicity in these photos. The only issue is that there is no info on how t make it work for non-hetero couples.

This book is PERFECT for beginners. I love that the beginning gives a brief histoty of kama sutra and also preps an individual for partnered sex work. It was nice that it built up to the partnered activities.

The pictures and instructions were perfect for people like me who usually go "wait, what?". I like how there are so many positions that focus solely on interaction and passion. The more adventous positions were limited in this book, which I can appreciate. For someone who is just starting, those hard to do positions would be intimidating.

I LOVED IT!
There were so so many helpful tips and moves that will quickly become a regular feature in our lives. Please bring out a more advanced one as I would love to read more!

I think that this book is great for people entering their sexual journey as the positions were extremely basic. I did think that by not having real photos or overly explicit drawings (like the Karma Sutra) it does create more accessibility. As someone who has been sexually active for over two decades - I didn’t really learn anything from this book. I also would have liked it to be more inclusive in the art - depicting larger couples and same sex couples. Like I said not a horrible introduction book, the quotes were a nice touch and speaking on oral sex and basic how-to could be helpful to many people. If you are more experienced, sexually, this isn’t the book you are looking for.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for allowing me advanced access to this publication.
