Even if you just look at the pictures, and read the Blissful Tips, you will love this book. It’s super helpful and easy to follow instructions. I have a couple of hard to decorate spaces in my house and I cannot wait to put this book to the test! I feel super confident that I will be able to redo these areas and do them well after this book.

I’ve read a lot of home décor books this year, so I’m always looking for the USP ( Unique Selling Point) that separates one from the other.
A Blissful Nest has the usual blend of aspirational photos, handy checklists and room by room tips, but its USP is the ‘Easy How-to’ sections that are scattered about the book.
If you’re the sort of person to whom scattering cushions and draping throws in a casual yet attractive way comes naturally, then you’ll probably find these ‘how tos’ quite banal.
I’m not that kind of girl, so tutorials such as ‘ How to make a layered, cozy bed’ and ‘How to set a table’ are not too basic for me. Other ‘how tos’ include ‘How to keep your lawn beautiful’ and ‘How to declutter’ and elsewhere in the book are stocklists for the pantry and the home office.
Pretty AND practical, this book is worth a look.

This is a wonderfully helpful and practical book with beautiful pictures. Rebekah Dempsey's excellent three-step system is easy to apply, and she shows you how to do it with every room in the house. She also lists excellent questions for each room, provides inspiring suggestions, and tells you how she handled decorating tricky areas.

This is a must-by for would-be decorators!

This was a great book about how your house can definitely impact your mood. I loved reading this and will definitely think more about how my house affects my mood.

A Blissful Nest is a great read for anyone who is passionate about home design or has a creative side to them. I was going to say this would make a great coffee table book (and it would), but that would be insufficient. This book is extremely useful. It is packed full of tips and tricks to decorate one's home and keeps it down-to-earth and practical. Ideas are budget friendly, the content encompasses the entire home, and the photos are beautiful. there is even a great section on selecting paint (isn't that often our biggest dilemma?). I highly recommend this book and think it would make a great gift option with the holiday season approaching.

Aside from being a visual treat of a book that I certainly wouldn't mind displaying in my home in its own right, the suggestions the author gives are both practical and beautiful.

This book feels 'bang on trend' at the moment, as the recent year has made us all more aware of the use of space in our homes and the importance of ambience of our surroundings on our mental health. This book 100% captures this.

The use of space in every room in the home is considered, and there are definitely more than a few 'take home' points (pardon the pun!)

I would recommend this book without reservation.

This is a really helpful book. It helped me figure out how I want to decorate my new house!

Awesome book that walks you through ways to make your house a one of a kind home. I loved all the information found between the covers and would recommend to anyone who is thinking of decorating their home.

Beautiful pictures and great source of design inspo. Dempsey does a fantastic job of explaining how to make rooms look amazing but still function for your family. Too often, design books leave me feeling like the look is acheiveable but not liveable. Dempsey creates spaces that are both.

Friendly book with easy and inspiring ideas for decorating every room in your home. There are plenty of great tips and easy projects. Other homemaking topics, such as hosting a dinner part are also covered. My only complaint is that all the rooms are almost entirely white. It would be nice if decor books would discuss paint & wallpaper once in a while.

A Blissful Nest is an interior design book all about creating a home you love. It is full of lovely photographs and is brimming with ideas, tips and tricks. The book tackles each area and room of the home and tries to include ideas for all manner of abodes. There are colour palettes and style guides, although most of the beautiful pictures are of a similar style. Overall a good that is lovely to browse through.

This is another book that I thought would be very interesting but unfortunately I can't read it because I can't get the proper apps. I hope it's good though!

I loved the fact that this is as much about the HOW of interior design as it is about gorgeous photos and useful tips/projects! As someone a bit...design challenged...it was really helpful for me to be coached through the thought process for how to approach a space. The questions specific to each area of the house were very useful in helping me think through my plan mindfully to make a space that is a functional as it is aesthetically pleasing.

Between the color palettes, style guides, and organization blueprints, there is so much valuable foundational information in this book! It would be very useful for young people starting out in their first place or for people looking to refresh and update their style.
