A Blissful Nest

I loved the fact that this is as much about the HOW of interior design as it is about gorgeous photos and useful tips/projects! As someone a bit...design challenged...it was really helpful for me to be coached through the thought process for how to approach a space. The questions specific to each area of the house were very useful in helping me think through my plan mindfully to make a space that is a functional as it is aesthetically pleasing.

Between the color palettes, style guides, and organization blueprints, there is so much valuable foundational information in this book! It would be very useful for young people starting out in their first place or for people looking to refresh and update their style.

A Blissful Nest is an interior design book all about creating a home you love. It is full of lovely photographs and is brimming with ideas, tips and tricks. The book tackles each area and room of the home and tries to include ideas for all manner of abodes. There are colour palettes and style guides, although most of the beautiful pictures are of a similar style. Overall a good that is lovely to browse through.

Rebekah Dempsey's A BLISSFUL NEST is a beautiful, inspiring nest itself. With clear, straightforward, eloquent words and sumptuous photographs, Dempsey encourages a different approach for thinking about making a home for yourself, one that works brilliantly to support you. I will never look at my entry hall the same way again not any of the other rooms that I encounter thanks to her generous expertise. it was a genuine escape and pure pleasure to read this book. Awesome book that walks you through ways to make your house a one of a kind home. I loved all the information found between the covers and would recommend to anyone who is thinking of decorating their home.

Beautiful pictures and great source of design inspo. Dempsey does a fantastic job of explaining how to make rooms look amazing but still function for your family. Too often, design books leave me feeling like the look is acheiveable but not liveable. Dempsey creates spaces that are both.

Friendly book with easy and inspiring ideas for decorating every room in your home. There are plenty of great tips and easy projects. Other homemaking topics, such as hosting a dinner part are also covered. My only complaint is that all the rooms are almost entirely white. It would be nice if decor books would discuss paint & wallpaper once in a while.

This gorgeous book is filled with beautiful images and inspiration along with TONS of advice and guidance to creating a blissful home.

With step by step instructions, easy how to's, and questions to help you determine your style this book is the ultimate tool to creating a blissful space, full of purpose that perfectly reflects you.

I love this book, and absolutely felt sufficiently inspired by it to put a few of the authors tips into practice!

Aside from being a visual treat of a book that I certainly wouldn't mind displaying in my home in its own right, the suggestions the author gives are both practical and beautiful.

This book feels 'bang on trend' at the moment, as the recent year has made us all more aware of the use of space in our homes and the importance of ambience of our surroundings on our mental health. This book 100% captures this.

The use of space in every room in the home is considered, and there are definitely more than a few 'take home' points (pardon the pun!)

I would recommend this book without reservation.
