What a fabulous book!
I have been a fan of this type of food service for years, and always like to check out books with (hopefully) new ideas. I most appreciated that this book is straight-forward in approach, and every board and recipe has accompanying pictures. The photos are eve-catching, and the instructions for the various boards are clear and accurate.
I am looking forward to trying a few of the recipes in this book and can't wait to share with family and friends!

I loved looking at all the yummy recipe and food board ideas in this book. I am so excited to use this book for ideas for holidays and parties! I definitely recommend this book to anyone that wants to make a food board.

Fabulous Food Boards is an excellent look into the world of food boards. The book is well laid out. It starts with a nice break down on the basics of food boards. It talks about types of plates and boards to use, what ingredients to use, and a number of tips from how to build the board and options for saving money when creating your boards.

After covering the basics, Fabulous Food Boards moves on the boards themselves broken into categories of boards. The categories range from breakfast boards to dessert boards. Each sections give some ideas for boards, but also branches out into recipes for the boards and some general recipes. I particularly like the section that contained the ideas for holiday boards. There were a lot of great ideas for a wide variety of holidays.

The best part of this book was the pictures. They do a great job highlighting the board and really pique your interest in the boards. Overall this was a really good book about food boards. Thank you to Netgalley and Chartwell Books for a free copy of this book for an honest review.

Charcuterie boards are very popular right now and this book is a must have if you are interested in creating them for yourself. These boards are very pretty and a great way to display snacks or even a meal. There are details about how to display foods for showers, holidays any event you might be hosting. There are recipes to help make these meals come alive. You won't be disappointed in this colorful book. Handy pictures help you know how to lay out these boards.
Run out and purchase before the holidays. It will become your go to cookbook.

So many great ideas of snack boards to feed a multitude of people. This is the new veggie tray.
The author covered it all from sweets to kids to adults. I can't wait for all the gatherings to share these boards with. I am certain they will be the hit of the party.

I found this inspiring. I keep hearing about food boards and thanks to this book I've been browsing different boards to purchase. It's easy to follow. The images are great. There are plenty of tips.

This is so much more than just a how-to on food boards. This gorgeous cookbook has tips on food board design and creation, yes, but it also is loaded with simple and fun recipes for entertaining crowds or just your own family. Whether you want to do a food board for breakfast, lunch, dinner, a kids party, birthdays, holidays, sports games, you name it!

Fabulous Food Boards is a great guide for gatherings. It gives you ideas and tips how to make a beautiful, fun and delicious food board for different occasions. I am a fan of food boards and i really enjoyed going through this book. I love the idea to have a book with ideas that i like for my gatherings instead of keeping scrolling online trying to find something good. My least favorite boards were the sweet ones but it gave me so many ideas to create my own sweet boards..

This was a timely book to review at this time of year as the party season is swinging into action, and we are now allowed to hold events in libraries post covid. The boards in this book are beautiful and follow themes, including more unusual ones around breakfast or yoghurt.
The author has provided some great hints on tips on how to create the boards for the best visual effect and I will be putting these into practice for our next community event in December for Jo Cox Mincepie moments.
I also will be using the sharing wreath concept for my home table this Christmas - all in all a fabulous guide to the creations of fabulous platters of food to share - the core of any community and family.

Tasty creations that look great. I loved this book and it’s given me some real inspiration for my next grazing boards and tables. The food photography in this book is exceptional

I love a food board and this book has filled me with inspiration, the ideas and flavour combinations are amazing. I know I will be recreating alot of these boards next time friends pop over. Not only do they look fantastic in most cases there is hardly any cooking involved just a well thought out trip to the supermarket and some clever presentation. This book is going to make me the 'hostess with mostest' that i've always dreamed of being. I cannot wait to get started.

This is visually stunning collection of amazing food boards!! I am a huge fan of this style of feeding groups and this has given me a whole ton of new ideas for boards for all occasions. A number of the items are not really "board" foods but are great ideas for feeding a crowd. I will be reaching for this to help plan my menus and style my boards in the future. Fabulous Food Boards will be a tremendous resource for all those who love to entertain, or even those who just want to eat off a pretty plate of food. Packed with ideas for food boards for every meal, get together, and holiday. Beautifully photographs of every idea and recipe.

An absolutely gorgeous book, complete with photos of every board for every occasion. So many ideas, I wouldn’t know where to begin. This is a perfect book for anyone who is experienced or a novice at entertaining, because putting together a charcuterie board, or most of these boards is pretty simple. Some of the ideas and recipes are a little more complex. This s a wonderful book and would make a GR eat gift for anyone for the holidays.

This is a solid food board book, though nothing really new. I liked that there's a photo of every board and there's a nice variety. For some reason, there are a ton of Halloween themed food boards and not a lot of others in the theme/holiday section. There are one or two for a bunch of holidays and something like 10 for Halloween. 🎃 But they're fun ones for Halloween! And there are at least one or two for other holidays like Independence Day and Thanksgiving, and lots for other times like breakfast, snacks, celebrations, etc.

The boards themselves are not terribly unique. There's pancakes, bagels and lox, meat lovers, etc. Some are accompanied by a recipe for the main star of the board like an artichoke dip recipe, a buttermilk pancake recipe, etc.

Surprisingly, a lot of the "boards" are actually just a recipe that you make and arrange on a board. This doesn't really seem like a food board to me. For instance, there are some really cute sort of open faced sandwich characters for kids made with bits of fruit to make the faces and such. But you make them yourself and arrange the six or so on a board. To me, a food board of that would be to put out the ingredients on a board on the table with an example and the kids would make their own characters and eat them. Likewise, there were several other things where you make the things and decorate them, and then just stick them on a board. That's just a recipe displayed on a platter, isn't it? 🤷

In any case, this has a nice variety and good photos. It will be great inspiration for folks who want to step up their food board game.

Fabulous Food Boards is full of ideas to set up sharing boards for friends and family, some of them are a little basic and not that original like the fruit ones but they do get you thinking about this way of serving food.

The photographs do an excellent job of piquing interest and then the recipes provide support, with simple directions, that reassure you that anyone can pull it off. I loved the way the author makes putting together a food board fun and simple for all kinds of occasions, such as a breakfast/brunch board, snacks, desserts and wonderful boards for celebrations too. This book is both fun and useful!

Fabulous food boards does what it says on the tin. The book contains everything you need to create the perfect selection of food for any occasion and it's helpfully out by the type of meal or occasion - brunch or snacks, indulgence or socialising. It begins with top tips to help you get started and to create a mouth watering display. There are ideas on how to customise the dishes, after all they advise you to "you do you" and even provide options for you to eat on the run. There's something for everyone in the recipes and the photography that accompanies each recipe will make your mouth water. I loved the theming for special occasions like Valentine's day and Easter. All in a brilliant addition to any cookbook collection.
