Fabulous Food Boards!

I recieved an arc of this title from NetGalley for an honest review. If you think the only boards out there are charcuterie and cheese, this book will show you how wrong you are. I can't wait to try some of these boards. Yogurt board, egg board, and the breakfast board.

Stunning and appealing! This is a nice mix of both recipes and assembly instructions for various kids of boards. All items have photographs and they're beautiful. The standout is definitely the themed holiday boards--they're very colorful and look so delicious.

This would be great inspiration for anyone who likes to entertain, or even someone who just wants to make a special meal at home for loved ones.

This book is fantastic! I love all the different ways it shows you to make a food board. Bring a lover of charcuterie that’s typically what I think of when I think food board. This book is so much more! I loved the suggestion that this could get kids excited about eating as I have a picky eater who loves charcuterie! There were some really cute arrangements and recipes in here. I can’t wait to get my copy!

You would think with COVID that food boards would be like a fad …but they seem to really be sticking around. Whether it’s two or twenty food boards are an inspirational way to eat.

What did I like? It’s an unorthodox way of eating. Pickety bits….or snacking with a flair. Food boards suggest a party atmosphere but it can just be two people watching television. The boards themselves are all about pairing foods and are illustrated by great pictures!

Would I recommend or buy? This book delivers a variety of food boards for an array of occasions. I enjoyed looking at the different variations of boards. I would definitely recommend for people looking for this type of decorative food.

This is a fun book and was around 3.5 stars for me!

There are beautiful pictures of aspirational food boards. This book is a little different than other grazing board books in that there's not a super in-depth dive into what's on each board and a lot of the breakfast boards are things like pancakes with different toppings or a bagel with different toppings which is really just one thing a few different ways.

That being said they photograph great and there are some fun sweet and savory ideas in this book!

Fabulous Food Boards is a delicious Book that inspires and teaches you how to create all different kinds of food Boards. Whether you are entertaining guests or just want to try something different it has it all.

The book is made up of the following food chapters;
Let's Brunch, Let's Snack, Let's Feast, Let's Indulge, Let's Celebrate and Let's Entertain.
There really is something for everyone.
Not all of the pages are recipe based some are telling you what ingredients to buy to put with other food types to make up the Boards.
I especially loved the Halloween Boards as it's coming up and gave me some inspiration.

The photographs accompanying the food Boards are mouth-watering and certainly eye catching. It's nice to get a visual idea of what to maybe aim for, or as a guide to give the Boards your own artistic flair.

Overall Fabulous Food Boards is an exciting, innovative and inspiring food book that offers a twist on conventional food preparation. I will definitely be having a go at some of the ideas.
If you love food or know someone who is a foodie then this is the perfect gift!

Fabulous Food Boards by Anna Helm Baxter is so much more than just charcuterie boards. There are so many different kinds of food boards to try out and this book explores than in great detail. The photos are stunning.

I love a good food board, and this book gave me even more options. Exciting to try some the next time i'm entertaining.

I read this book because recently I wanted to make a charcuterie board for me and my boyfriend and was lost at the store of what to put on it. It was a very basic meat, cheese, and crackers board. Luckily, I was able to choose interesting enough cheeses and meats that even this basic board was still super tasty! And this book has shown me how to up my game next time. It has lots of different arrangements to base your board off of, including holiday themed ones. Surprisingly, actual appetizer recipes such as shakshuka and chicken wings. I thought this addition was a great idea because I was wondering how they were going to fill an entire cookbook with just cheese boards. Although, I will say the last chapter proved me wrong on that point. There was about five different boards dedicated to Halloween each one standing out from the last. This book is a great guide for making your charcuterie boards more inventive.

This book will help bring your food boards to another level.

If you thought food boards had to only offer cheese and meats you are going to be blown away by the selections in this book. They have covered it all - from breakfast boards, to sweet boards and everything else in between!

Each board is beautifully photographed which gives a perfect visual for setting out your boards. They also come with an ingredients list (and I love that the measurements are included in cups and grams). Some boards even include a recipe so you can make some of the items at home rather than purchasing pre-made.

This book is perfect if you are planning on hosting some get togethers over Christmas, if you have been signed up to bring food for the office party or any other events during the year that would benefit from nibbles.

I loved the way the author makes putting together a food board fun and simple for all kinds of occasions, such as a breakfast/brunch board, snacks, desserts and wonderful boards for celebrations too. This book is both fun and useful!

Fabulous food boards does what it says on the tin. The book contains everything you need to create the perfect selection of food for any occasion and it's helpfully out by the type of meal or occasion - brunch or snacks, indulgence or socialising. It begins with top tips to help you get started and to create a mouth watering display. There are ideas on how to customise the dishes, after all they advise you to "you do you" and even provide options for you to eat on the run. There's something for everyone in the recipes and the photography that accompanies each recipe will make your mouth water. I loved the theming for special occasions like Valentine's day and Easter. All in a brilliant addition to any cookbook collection.

Fabulous Food Boards will be a tremendous resource for all those who love to entertain, or even those who just want to eat off a pretty plate of food. Packed with ideas for food boards for every meal, get together, and holiday. Beautifully photographs of every idea and recipe.

An absolutely gorgeous book, complete with photos of every board for every occasion. So many ideas, I wouldn’t know where to begin. This is a perfect book for anyone who is experienced or a novice at entertaining, because putting together a charcuterie board, or most of these boards is pretty simple. Some of the ideas and recipes are a little more complex. This s a wonderful book and would make a GR eat gift for anyone for the holidays.

This will become your one stop for all things food boards. The photographs do an excellent job of piquing interest and then the recipes provide support, with simple directions, that reassure you that anyone can pull it off. I appreciated the wide variety, especially the holiday spreads. The timing of this with the holidays coming up means it will get even more use in my social gathering plans.

Tasty creations that look great. I loved this book and it’s given me some real inspiration for my next grazing boards and tables. The food photography in this book is exceptional

I love a food board and this book has filled me with inspiration, the ideas and flavour combinations are amazing. I know I will be recreating alot of these boards next time friends pop over. Not only do they look fantastic in most cases there is hardly any cooking involved just a well thought out trip to the supermarket and some clever presentation. This book is going to make me the 'hostess with mostest' that i've always dreamed of being. I cannot wait to get started.

This is visually stunning collection of amazing food boards!! I am a huge fan of this style of feeding groups and this has given me a whole ton of new ideas for boards for all occasions. A number of the items are not really "board" foods but are great ideas for feeding a crowd. I will be reaching for this to help plan my menus and style my boards in the future. This gorgeous cookbook has tips on food board design and creation, yes, but it also is loaded with simple and fun recipes for entertaining crowds or just your own family. Whether you want to do a food board for breakfast, lunch, dinner, a kids party, birthdays, holidays, sports games, you name it!

Fabulous Food Boards is a great guide for gatherings. It gives you ideas and tips how to make a beautiful, fun and delicious food board for different occasions. I am a fan of food boards and i really enjoyed going through this book. I love the idea to have a book with ideas that i like for my gatherings instead of keeping scrolling online trying to find something good. My least favorite boards were the sweet ones but it gave me so many ideas to create my own sweet boards..

This was a timely book to review at this time of year as the party season is swinging into action, and we are now allowed to hold events in libraries post covid. The boards in this book are beautiful and follow themes, including more unusual ones around breakfast or yoghurt.
The author has provided some great hints on tips on how to create the boards for the best visual effect and I will be putting these into practice for our next community event in December for Jo Cox Mincepie moments.
I also will be using the sharing wreath concept for my home table this Christmas - all in all a fabulous guide to the creations of fabulous platters of food to share - the core of any community and family.

I found this inspiring. I keep hearing about food boards and thanks to this book I've been browsing different boards to purchase. It's easy to follow. The images are great. There are plenty of tips.

So many great ideas of snack boards to feed a multitude of people. This is the new veggie tray.
The author covered it all from sweets to kids to adults. I can't wait for all the gatherings to share these boards with. I am certain they will be the hit of the party.
