This was such a great book!! I had tried to read another of his books and couldn't really get into it, but this one grabbed me right from the start. Great read! Highly recommend!

Wow! What a phenomenally wild rollercoaster ride! Palmer has done it again. I stayed up late into the night reading this one, needing to know what happened next. By the end of the book…..well let’s just say my jaw dropped and I’m ready for more!
Another D.J. Palmer book that I thoroughly enjoyed and was immediately sucked into! This was entertaining, twisty, and just plain crazy at times. But in a completely good way! It had the cat and mouse chase but with some awesome twists and turns thrown in that I never saw coming. So much happens in this book that I could barely keep up but what a thrilling ride it was. Palmer never disappoints when it comes to thrillers and I'm so excited for their next book!
Thanks so much to St. Martins Press for the gifted copy for my honest review!
I was thrilled to get an early copy of My Wife is Missing after absolutely LOVING The Perfect Daughter. Unfortunately, this one didn't live up to the caliber of The Perfect Daughter for me. I found the story easy to figure out and not as engaging as the author's previous book. It's hard to recall whether I continued to read to see if my hypothesis was right about the outcome or if I really cared what happened to the characters. I am also tired of the unreliable woman narrator trope in thrillers. It is overused and sometimes is just not done well. The story also became too convoluted as it moved forward. Looking forward to Palmer's next release!
The actions of the main character here made no sense and despite the fact that this has a promising premise, it did not deliver.
Overall it was a good book. I enjoyed the plot, the writing style and the twists and turns. The ending, however, felt really rushed whereas the rest of the book was more in depth. For that reason, I had to take away stars.
Thank you NetGalley and St. Martin's Press for letting me read this book in exchange for my honest review. This is my first book by this author. I quite enjoyed it and will read more of their work.
What a twisty mysterious book. Michael is not who he seems to be and Natalie is slowly figuring it out. While on vacation in NYC, Natalie and their two children disappear and Michael is left on a quest to find them. Natalie travels through the US trying to stay one step ahead of Michael while trying to keep their children safe from him.
This book was great and it really kept me interested and invested into the plot. It kept the intrigue going and the plot was superb! I also liked the first book I read by Dj Palmer and this follow up was just as great, if not better!
I LOVE DJ Palmer. There is not one book that I haven't read that I do not like. His writing style is so engaging and keeps you wrapped up in the characters and the storyline. Next thing you know you have read the whole book and left in a book hangover. This story follows a man whose wife and children go missing during vacation. Finding out all the leads up to the disappearance is crazy. At first I thought the husband was paranoid but changed my mind real quick. It will keep you questioning throughout the whole book until the end
While solid twists and turns and a really twisted and twisty ending…I wish I’d skipped this one. The slog thru the first half, the “loving wife” role despite two decades of lies told to her, and the lack of character development by Michael…didn’t feel worth the time
Finally found the mood and time to tackle this one and kicking myself for putting it off so long. This is a fast-paced thriller that twists and turns throughout. This is a compelling story that keeps the pages turning. I definitely enjoyed it and highly recommend it to those thriller lovers.

This twisty thriller had me guessing throughout the book. Is Michael good or bad? His wife delusional or right to leave?? I've enjoyed a few of this author's books and while this one wasn't my favorite it's a solid psychological game of cat and mouse.
What a great intense book from the first page to the very last! I absolutely love the cop, you did such a great job writing that character. This is a fantastic story and I recommend that everyone read it! Thanks for such a great job!
I loved this book. Such a fast-paced thriller that had me hooked from beginning to end. A must read!
My Wife is Missing by D.J. Palmer is a gripping and suspenseful thriller that will keep readers guessing until the very end. Palmer is a skilled storyteller who knows how to create tension and intrigue, and this book is a great example of his talent.
A family vacation turns into a nightmare for Michael Hart when he discovers his wife and two children have disappeared from their New York City hotel room. Horrified, he fears they've been kidnapped. Michael's frantic search to find them takes a shocking turn when he discovers that his wife, Natalie, appears to have left quite willingly, taking their children with her. The police want to know why, and so does Michael. While untangling his deceptions might be the key to locating Natalie, Michael knows it could also be his undoing.
This is a twisty and captivating read. Palmer takes care to develop each character and give them their own unique motivations, making them feel like real people rather than just plot devices.
Overall, I would highly recommend My Wife is Missing to fans of suspenseful thrillers. D.J. Palmer has crafted a fast-paced and engaging novel that will keep readers guessing until the very end.
Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for sending a digital ARC in exchange for an honest review.
This is my first book by D.J. Palmer and I think its safe to say, it wont be my last. This book was truly a rollercoaster ride. The beginning hooked me, but then as I kept reading, it became a little repetitive for me, but I kept going and overall really enjoyed the book. Sometimes unreliable narrators really bother me, I am just not into that trope in general! This one was bothersome at times, but I was able to still read and enjoy the book!
I loved this book and couldn't put it down! It was definitely a page turner and one of the better thrillers I have read in a long time.
This book was a very good book. Started out kind of slow for me, but picked up more towards the middle of the book. Looking forward to reading more books from this author in the near future. Very good thriller.
Let’s play a game of three things, one thing that has gone well that day, one day that you’re grateful for, and one thing you wish you had done differently.
The last three things Michael heard his wife utter was “Today I got us packed and ready to go. I’m grateful for the truth. I wish I did this sooner.” He Had no idea that within a day his wife and children would be missing.
D.J. Palmer has definitely become an auto buy author ever since I read his book from last year The Perfect Daughter. I really was expecting to be blown away by this one and it really didn’t disappoint. The more I read the more Intense this novel became.
This is definitely a novel that’s binge worthy and you should definitely put it on You’re TBRs! My Wife Is Missing releases March 10th!
