Thoroughly engaging from the very first page! This fast-paced psychological thriller was hard to put down. It kept me turning pages late into the night. Some well-placed twists and turns kept me entertained and guessing until the end. If you are looking for an exciting page-turner, this one is for you. I highly recommend My Wife is Missing by D.J. Palmer. You won't be disappointed!

Make sure you have a day free to read this book because you will want to finish it in one sitting. If you are looking for a book full of secrets, lies, along with a few twist then this is it. The characters are well-written, the plot grabs you and keeps you in it's hold for the whole ride, and it is quite the thrill. There were some things that I had figured out as I read but there was still some mystery. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced readers copy of this book.

Natalie and Michael had been having some problems in their marriage and she encourages a family trip to NY so they can all spend time together. When she and the children disappear he sets off to find them.
I love how DJ Palmer writes a story that has so many twists and turns that you are surprised at every turn. The suspense will keep you turning the pages. Really enjoyed the way the story was presented with chapters from the past. Natalie had my sympathy as she was struggling to figure out if Michael was cheating on her. She was trying to find answers while protecting her kids. Always anxiously awaiting the authors next book.

Thank you to Netgalley for an advanced reader copy of this book. I’ve read one of this author’s previous novels, Saving Meghan.
This book tells the story of married couple Natalie and Mike. Natalie suffers from extreme insomnia which can lead to delusions and hallucinations. She starts to suspect Mike is having an affair, but is he, or is it a lack of sleep induced delusion?
When the couple and their two small kids take a trip to NYC, you guessed it- the wife disappears. The novel alternates between the past, what Mike is doing in the present and what Natalie is doing in the present.
I really enjoyed the story, it was twisty and interesting. However, the writing is not that strong and some of the book is quite far fetched, but overall it’s really enjoyable and I finished it within a couple days.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!
Excellent book!! Fantastic writing, incredibly well done.
The characters and story line were believable.
It was suspenseful from the start and kept my interest. I enjoyed that this book got right into the thick of the plot immediately and didn’t take 10 chapters to do so. Definitely a page turner!
The ending was not predictable in the least bit, which was probably my favorite thing about the book as a whole. Not at all what I expected and different from what I’ve read recently. I was pleasantly surprised.
I really liked that the plot was a lot like a movie, as I find books are easier to imagine that way.
My Wife Is Missing definitely lives up to the stellar reviews.

I read this book all on one sitting on a plane trip. DJ Palmer is quickly becoming one of my “auto-read” authors, and this was definitely a great one. With the amount of thrillers that I read, it’s difficult to surprise me, but the misdirection in this one was right on point!

Another D.J. Palmer book to add to my list of "books I read"
I truly enjoy her writing, as it always holds plenty of suspenseful twists and turns. And although they yet to reach the wow factor for me, I will continue to one click this author because she still has a way to suck you in, as she did with me in My Wife is Missing. Plenty of things to try and figure out , but the characters just didn't do it for me. Had no feelings towards any of them. But yet, I was still invested and only a good author can do that.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Genre : domestic thriller
This is one twisty-turny, you think you know but you have no idea, read.
Natalie, suffering from severe insomnia, is on the run with her children in tow. Not sure how much of what she’s going through are real or hallucinations caused from severe lack of sleep, she knows enough that she’s afraid of her husband.
Michael is blindsided when his wife and kids up and leave him during a family trip to New York. When a detective offers up his help in the hunt for his wife, Michael knows dark secrets from his past are threatening to be brought to light.
This is one bumpy rollercoaster of a ride, and I was here for it!
Definitely look for this one out in May! Thanks @Netgalley

Thank you so much to Netgalley and the publisher for the ARC.
It is always a thrill to be approved for one of D,J's arcs and My Wife is Missing is fantastic! Michael and his wife Natalia are on a family getaway in NYC. Michael comes back from getting pizza and discoveres his wife and kids are gone.
Its a roller coaster of a ride with twists and turns at every corner. One of the things I have always respected about Palmer was his ability to fill his books with a lot of red herrings. This one was no different.
I don't want to give a lot away until this is released. There are a LOT of moving pieces in this book. Lots of questionable characters and a few questions that I still don't have the answers too. BUT its still a great read!

Thank you NetGalley for providing this book for an honest review. I have read a couple books by DJ Palmer and I have enjoyed them all. This book started with a family taking a vacation to New York and quickly became an all out search for Natalie and the two children. The story is written beautifully. It is clear from the beginning that there are lots of secrets and hidden pasts that will twist and turn throughout the book. The chapters vary from Michael and Natalie's point of view and we alternate from the present to the past. This book will not disappoint.

I will read anything this man writes! This book kept me on the edge of my seat, reading non-stop until the end. It was such a great book to binge read. My only regret is that it is over.

Whoa so many twists and turns! One great read that will keep you turning the images and guessing. Finally a thriller I didn’t figure out! Great read!
Thanks to Netgalley and the Publisher for the ARC

My Wife is Missing is a deliciously delightful thriller that is a helluva page turner and has more twists and turns than the streets of New York City, baby!!
With their marriage hanging on by a thread, Michael and Natalie Hart travel to the Big Apple for a family vacation in hopes of a happy distraction. Natalie has been suffering from debilitating insomnia and is questioning Michael’s faithfulness to her. Michael has been questioning Natalie’s sanity and is drowning in their failing marriage. A family vacation sounds like the perfect remedy, AMIRITE? Right! Do things actually go right? ABSOLUTELY NOT!
Upon returning from picking up pizza for his family, Michael returns to an empty hotel room – not a trace of his wife or children, only a plush teddy bear and a frantic mind reeling in where his family could possibly be! DUN-DUN-DUNNNNNNN!
What quickly transpires is a wild goose chase that involves Michael searching for his family as readers learn through dual POVs that all is not as it seems and deep, dark secrets from the past rise to the surface! This book is dripping in all the things that fans of the thriller/mystery genre crave: backstabbing, secrets, deception, shocking truths! A literary slam dunk!
A huge glimmering, shimmering bookish THANKS to St. Martin’s Press and NetGalley for an ARC – ‘twas a wildly enjoyable reading ride!

This book is a real page turner. I usually can figure out what is going to happen in a story but not this one. Just when you think you know exactly how it is going to turn out the story line takes a different turn. Michael and Natalie are having marriage problems. Natalie has insomnia brought about by these marriage problems. On a trip to New York City she takes the children and runs from Michael when he is out getting pizza. After that it is a whirlwind ride for him to find her and the truth. I really enjoyed this novel. It is a book that once you start reading you don’t want to put down. Definitely a great read!

This was the first book I’ve read by this author and I loved it! I’m definitely going to find more of her books to read. I curled up on the couch with a blanket, a fire in the fireplace, and a cup of tea during a snow storm and finished this thriller in almost one sitting. Lots of twists and turns that kept me guessing and definitely entertained!

This is my first read by this author and it definitely won’t be the last. This book had me hooked from the beginning. There is a lot of action and mystery in this one. I really enjoyed this book!

This book started as a 4 star some intrigue to start and get you into the book mood. I will say once about half way it hooked me to the point I did not want to put it down. I was not expecting the twists and turns this book took. The ending had no clue and most of the time I can figure it out. Get this book and go in the ride of your life!! The end of this book bumped it to a 5 star solid read.

4 fast-paced stars
This one kept me on my toes, and I read it quickly! It opens in a dramatic fashion when a father returns to the hotel room with pizza dinner for his family vacation in NYC to discover they are gone! What has happened, are they kidnapped, who has them?
We go back and forth between the husband and wife and get the clues very slowly as the timeframe shifts back and forth as well. There are several plots happening and I wasn’t able to put all the pieces together.
We go chasing after the mom and kids, knowing that the mom Natalie is suffering from the effects of insomnia. Is she overreacting, seeing things that aren’t there? Or is she right to be fleeing the situation?
They are lots of secrets and characters in this one and I felt that both main characters were unreliable narrators! There were some major twists at the end of this one (maybe too many?) but I enjoyed this thrill ride!

This author always knows how to grab me. It enjoyed reading the book and didn't see the twists coming. D.J. Palmer books are well written and flow easily.

This is my fourth book written by DJ Palmer. Like all of the others, I found it extremely entertaining and kept me riveted until the very end. This book centers around the marriage of Michael and Natalie, in present day. However, the past is very important this story. Chapters vary from being set in the present through Michael;s point of view and then Natalies. Chapter’s are also set in the past. The irony of this book for me is that Natalie is an insomniac, and I read this book when I could not sleep. This is not the book to read if you want to sleep!!! It is full of twists and turns that keep you guess until the very end.
