This was a second release with a new cover. The writing was so good, and I loved ever second of it. I love when a couple meets in the airport so it hit the ground running for me.

Gretchen buys a coffee for Joshua Malvern at the airport, and it’s love at first sight. They encounter a conflict, and have to see if their relationship can make it through.
Let’s start by saying I would have DNF’d this if it wasn’t an ARC. I have a really hard time getting on board with the insta-love trope, and this story line was lacking any substance. It had a lot of steam, but as a reader I felt no connection to the plot or to the characters. There wasn’t sufficient character development and the writing felt really choppy.
I wasn’t a fan and I wouldn’t recommend this one.
Thank you NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Not my absolute favorite so far as sports romance is concerned. Although it’s not high on my list, I still did enjoy the reading experience

It didn't make it very far in this book-- the writing style didn't work for me and I don't care for the 'love at first sight' trope. I loved the cover & idea for this book though.

Amazing story! I was so happy to get selected because this was so fun. I loved reading about these characters and this world. Incredible book!

I was intrigued by the concept of this book as I love a sports romance, but unfortunately this one really fell flat for me. The writing style was not my cup of tea and I did not get enough dynamism from the characters to be able to establish an interest in how their connection would go.

I can't always trust the cute covers. I felt as though their romance was rushed and the conflict was just dumb. I couldn't root for them as a couple.

I didn’t like this at all. Their relationship was so quick and rushed. This book was an unfortunate miss for me.

I thought the plot of this one had so much potential, but I didn't get hooked into the story the way I was hoping to. Overall I would read another Caroline Richardson in the future, but this one just didn't hold my attention the way I was hoping.

This book was a bit of a let down. I believe that this was book on Wattpad that just got a makeover with a new cover. I feel this book was just the same as many other books but failed in the execution.

I really loved the premise of this book, unfortunately the story fell flat for me. The book focused on hooking up more then anything, which I did not enjoy. The story felt like it was missing character developments. I just feel this one wasn’t for me.

I absolutely loved this book. I am a huge baseball fan, as well as a romance reader and this hit the spot on all fronts.
Gretchen is in the airport ready to take a flight, when she sees Joshua, and decides to purchase him a cup of coffee.
They strike up a conversation and it ends with a one night stand.
What they both don’t realize is how that one night stand has transformed them forever and it becomes so much more.
Joshua is dealing with the end of his career, whether to end it or rehab himself. He’s also dealing with his Coach, closest friend going through some life changing illness.
Gretchen has had Joshua on her “list” for years and she hasn’t told him, but her friend does. Creates a whole host of problems where they break up and even though she’s not using him as he thinks she is, they don’t speak for a while.
Until she disguises herself and attends one of his games. He obviously knows its her, things are forgiven and romance continues.
There are some steamy sex scenes, major hurdles and miscommunication – everything a good book should entail.
Thanks to Netgalley for allowing me to review and read this title, all view are my own. I just reviewed Out of His League by Caroline Richardson. #OutofHisLeague #NetGalley

Thank you to NetGalley and Wattpad for sending me a free copy in exchange for a review!
This was okay, it would be great for beginners to the romance genre if they wanted something with more mature topics. I thought it was a quick read and it was fun but I could not really connect with the characters.
I think I would have loved this when I was starting out in the romance genre but now after reading a ton of different romances it doesn't impress me as much
I did love the meet-cute, and the chemistry between the characters but I had trouble liking them individually.
Age Rec - 18 and up for sexual content.

2.5 stars. This was not a win for me. I have loved some baseball romances and unfortunately this didn’t have the substance to hit the mark.
The meet cute on this was phenomenal- I love the airport element and the coffee. Gretchen and Josh were off to a great start but this turned into a lot of sex without a real relationship basis and it was unbelievable for me because of that. I think the length hindered character development in this case.
I appreciate the opportunity to check out this book via NetGalley.

Bleh this book did not deliver. I was so excited because I love sports romances but this was not it.
A huge thank you to the publisher and Net Galley for providing me a copy of the arc in exchange for an honest review.

This book is short enough, but it could've been shorter since the subplot was tossed as a quick attempt to create more storyline; the big mouth Sharla scene, the Neptune part. All the conflict is pretty unnecessary which then highlighted the fact that this book lacks a solid plot.

I enjoyed the first part of this book, but I found myself not really loving the second half. I'm not really sure why, but I think that the writing felt off to me. The story had a good premise and I really liked their first meeting, but teh back and forth later in teh book just became annoying. A solid 3.5 stars

'Out Of His League' by Caroline Richardson (DNF)
Gretchen Harper bought a coffee for a baseball player, Joshua Malvern, at the airport and he decides to pay her with first class and a one-night stand, which ends up not being for one night.
I really tried to finish this book but it was just rough. The characters feel flat and all about sex and it made me really uncomfortable because I can't see any actual romance, it is just them wanting each other's bodies. The writing style doesn't help, it is repetitive and not the best. I just thought this would have been a cute read but it was just disappointing and I couldn't force myself to finish it.
Thanks, NetGalley for the arc.

One thing about me, I love a baseball player. Not only that but meeting at airport is such a perfect meet cute. Baseball guys just do it better and I swooned for these too.

Overall I was kind of disappointed by this book. I was looking for a nice romance book that would be a palette cleanser that was about a baseball player. Instead what it is is constant sex and very little true development of the characters. While I know some people like that it just wasn't what I wanted or what I expected There was so much potential for these characters, but it all just fell flat sadly. What little bit we did see of them outside of the bedroom was sweet and I liked it, just wish it had had more development. Especially when it came to the minor league situation and what was going on with that.
