Maggie’s Moves On is an adorable book. So amazing! It’s got humor and heat. There is nothing about it that I didn’t love. I’m ready to move and live in the book. January was a long month. I was feeling down. This book was just what I needed to help perk me back up. This is my second Lucy Score book after Rock Bottom Girl. They both were knocked out of the park for me. She’s an author that I want to read more from this year.
I voluntarily read an early copy.

I really enjoyed this book, it was a nice change having the male lead be the one wanting a committed relationship from the start. The characters are very likable, but flawed and dealing with their own baggage, which is pretty much true for all of us.
I would recommend it to others, it is definitely another great book from Lucy Score.

As a huge fan of HGTV and ALL home renovation shows, this story was a huge hit for me! I loved Maggie and Silas and their complicated relationship so much! They had really life relationship problems and worked through them (or in some cases ignored them) in a very relatable way. I loved the mystery of the robbery, the gold, and the ongoing clues given throughout the book. This book had some of the best side characters from any of Lucy's book as well. It was one of my favorite books by Lucy! Also, KEVIN- I love dogs, so he was just icing on the cake here. At the end of the book there was a nice wrap up with a quick look into the future for all of the side characters lives. Even if there are no other books about these characters, I felt satisfied with the neatly wrapped up ending for everyone I care about in this town.

10 ⭐ read! Maggie Moves On is absolutely the best book Lucy Score has written. It is a story in true Lucy Score fashion that pulls you in and makes you fall in love with her characters and their stories. It has love, family drama, a mystery to solve and a quarky loveable dog! I hope she turns this book into a series!

If you’re a fan of Fixer Upper and Mr. Kate then this story is a must!!
Maggie has a YouTube channel where she renovates and flips houses, and this book takes place during her current (and biggest) renovation in Kinship, Idaho. When I picked up this book, I came for the house-flipping but I stayed for the romance that grew between Maggie & Silas (and Dean! and Michael!)
This story has a shameless flirt, large dysfunctional families, a messy but loving dog, all the homey small town vibes, a small mystery, and honestly so much more.

Best book of 2022! This book has it all! A well developed cast of characters, including an imperfectly perfect heroine and hero. It will make you laugh, cry and has woo lala chemistry between Silas and Maggie. You will fall in love with the town of Kinship, it’s residents and most especially Kevin, Dolly and Taco. Highly recommend!!

I absolutely love Lucy Score’s style of writing. This book had a lot of surprises and I loved the new found family dynamics. Definitely recommend!

There isn’t much I love more than small town romance and when the man falls first. This book had both of those things. He falls for her so hard and isn’t scared to let her know. This book was very cute and has crazy potential to becoming a comfort read. Couldn’t stop smiling. I loved it.

What I Loved About This Book:
✨Maggie’s independence, Silas’ confidence, and their banter
✨the found family
✨the home renovation plot line
✨the small town
✨but, most of all, KEVIN!
This was my first Lucy Score but it will not be my last!

“WHERE IS THE ADVENTURE IN FINDING ONESELF IF ONE USES SOMEONE ELSE’S MAP?”
Lucy Freaking Score does it again! I swear every time I finish a book by Lucy it becomes my new favorite. Maggie Moves On is no exception. Silas is swoony and Maggie is so very relatable. Not only is there a pretty sweet and steamy love story, but we also get a story about found families as well as a little town mystery thrown in. I love how the town of Kinship comes alive through the author’s vivid descriptions and in the sense of community built through the side characters. And who wouldn’t love a pleasantly plump pit bull named Kevin and his two adopted kittens, Dolly Parton and Taco?

This book has everything I’ve come to expect from a Lucy Score novel: main characters with heart and enough fire to set my Kindle ablaze, lovable and hilarious secondary characters, and so much detail about the setting that I feel like I’m there. I loved every second of this book and was sad when it ended because I didn’t want to leave Kinship behind. I don’t know how she does it, but each Lucy Score novel gets better and I end up loving each book more than the ones before (which I would have never thought was possible). The backstories of Maggie and Silas make them relatable and truly brought them to life for me. If you enjoy funny, steamy, swoony, and a bit of mystery, do yourself a favor and buy this book as soon as it’s released. You won’t regret it!

Maggie Moves On is a delightful book about a Internet star flipper and a Hot Landscaper. Maggie has had a rough and sometimes lonely life and needs to get out of her head to learn to live. Enter Silas, a hot landscaper who has a great support system in his family and magic is formulated. The story is very endearing with a little bit of heat and a lot of love. The mystery of the Old Campbell Place and why it has sat in the state it was in and the knowledge learned through exploring this house really made for a bit of intrigue. This was such a fun book to read. I think I need to read it again. Lucy Score has created a beautiful story with great characters who make you love them. Kinship, Idaho or like Dean liked to say "Where the **ck, Idaho", is an endearing town and a place you will not only want to read about but you would love to go visit.

Maggie Moves On by Lucy Score comes out on June 21st!! It's an opposites attract novel and it gets pretty steamy! Maggie doesn't have time for love, but her new landscaper Silas is extremely flirtatious.

Maggie Moves On is like HGTV in a book. I really enjoyed so many elements of this book. I loved that it was plot AND character driven but I wish the backstory to the house / Campbell’s was spread out in chunks throughout the whole books, I kept wanting more than little snippets and the ending felt rushed. Maggie’s evolving relationships were the best parts of the book for me and how she grows slowly over the course of the book to accept these relationships. Thank you to NetGalley for a copy of this.

Maggie Moves On by Lucy Score is another solid offering from the author.
Maggie - house flipper extraordinaire - takes on her newest project in Kinship, Idaho where she crosses paths with Silas the Hot Landscaper. FIREWORKS ENSUE. I've read all of Lucy's novels and this one is at the top of the charts. Heart, humor, and HEAT.

Boy meets girl and falls, girl tells him not to because she isn’t staying. He doesn’t listen and he reminds her every chance he can that she’s his forever. This book was everything I enjoy in a book. There was romance, a little mystery and any conflict between the primary characters was not stressful. It did not make me want to walk away and take a break from the book. The characters were well defined and easy for the reader to connect with. There is a non-traditional family you wish you can be a part of, a pet we all wish we had, and the best part? Someone that takes the time to listen and understand. This really is one of Lucy Score’s best books.

Maggie’s newest job flipping the Old Campbell House in Kinship is her biggest project to date. While she and her best friend/ex-husband, Dean, are busy getting everything lined up for the project, the landscaper, Silas, begins his courtship. The chemistry between Maggie and Silas is amazing, but this story is fabulous with the mystery included and the secondary characters of the family and the town. I don’t want to give anything away, but this book was one I could not put down with all its twists and turns. Well done, Lucy Score.

This was an amazing story! From the chracter development to the naughty dog to the romance buildup, I couldn't put this book down. The author was able to craft a story that was enveloped in emotion, lust, heartbreak, empathy and self discovery. I love a steamy romance and this book left me daydreaming about Silas! Do you think my husband would ask why if I asked him to wear his hat backwards?

This was such a happy read! I loved the banter between the main characters, Maggie and Silas. Maggie is renovating a house and hires Silas as the landscaper. From the very beginning there is great chemistry between the two of them. I also enjoyed the couple of hints that were included throughout the book that led to revealing the wrap up of some of the story line! There was a point in the book that I think a characters name may have been written wrong but it didn’t impact the story if it was wrong.

Maggie Moves On by Lucy Score is exactly what you want in a contemporary romance — humor, just-enough angst to get you emotional, and steaminess that’ll leave you sighing. Lucy Score has a knack for creating relatable, quirky characters that you wish you could hang out with in real life, & the small towns she creates always leaves me wanting to move there. Or at least visit for a while. I took my time finishing this book simply because I wanted to stay in Kinship, Idaho with Maggie, Silas, Kevin the dog, and everyone else for as long as possible. I will definitely be re-visiting as often as possible.
