I went into this expecting a light, cheesy Christmas rom-com, but it completely exceeded my expectations! It was funny, heartwarming, and left me with all the cozy, feel-good vibes. The pacing was spot on—despite the short timeline, Ben and Kara’s relationship felt genuine, with enough meaningful moments and emotional depth to make their love story believable. Kara’s friendship with her bestie was absolute gold, making me laugh more than once. And the cats? PERFECTION. If you love rom-coms and cats, this book is a must-read. Each chapter opens with a little snippet about an adoptable cat from the café, which helped bring the setting to life. There were a few odd scene transitions—like when Ben and Kara had a charged moment, but he randomly paused to finish caulking the sink before making a move—but honestly, that just added to their quirky charm. It didn’t take away from my enjoyment at all. I’ve already pre-ordered a physical copy because this is officially my go-to holiday re-read!

I tried multiple times to get into this book. I think i was blinded by my love of cats and hopeful to be in a jolly mood. I will say. I enjoy a romance that depicts a love story with closed door. I know a lot of authors fall on the intimate scenes to push romance but I think GAry did a good job with fade to black yet still let the reader know of the depth of feelings between Kara and Ben. However, miscommunication is not for me. A solid 3 star read.

A fun hallmark-y season story. Full of lots of cats and lots of cat puns. Dual pov. Some good banter. A sweet romance.

This book reads like your quirky friend telling you a romantic story about how she met her boyfriend and I was here for it. The voice of the story is so human and relatable and snarky, and the characters behaved in ways that real people would. I love the flaws they brought to their relationship and the cats were just icing on the cake.

This book is a fun, feel-good read, blending humor and romance perfectly. Kara and Ben have great chemistry, and their back-and-forth kept me smiling. The cat café setting adds an extra layer of charm, and the holiday theme gives it a cozy vibe. The plot's pretty predictable, but the characters and their journey to find love make it worthwhile. If you're looking for a light-hearted romance with a dose of humor and holiday cheer, this one is a great pick!

What could be better than a Christmas book set at a cat cafe? I really enjoyed the majority of this story, but I felt like it would have been better if it was a tad shorter. My favorite part of the story was the blurbs about the cats available for adoption! What a wonderful addition to the story!

A Cat Cafe Christmas by Codi Gary
A laugh=out loud novel that attracts romance about three of the world’s beloved C’s: Christmas,
Coffee, and cats.
This was a great holiday read, especially if you are a cats lover. Enjoyed the main characters.
Thanks to NetvGalley for sending me an advanced reader’s copy for my review.

I don't know why this book sat on my nettgalley tbr for soo long. It is such a good little holiday/cat themed romance. I love animals but I am most definitely not a cat person however I loved how every chapter started with a little write up on each cat ready for adoption. Highly recommend , I couldn't put it down.
Thank you to forever and netgalley for an arc.

My bestie, my cats, and I were all looking forward to this book. It has Christmas, it has cats, and romance! It sounds like the perfect mix for a story, right? However, this just turned into a big disappointment. I think the biggest thing behind my dislike for this book was the audiobook. I don't know what the voice narrator was doing, but the accents were just not it for this book or characters. Not to mention, very early on, it was hard to tell the difference between the FMC, the MMC, and the FMC's bestie. They all kind of blended together for me. Speaking of the main characters, I didn't like either of them. First impressions in a book are a big thing for me as a reader these days and this didn't leave me caring enough about the characters to continue reading. Overall, I won't even be trying to continue this as a physical format. I've seen a few reviews saying things get worse, a lot worse, like with the shaming of someone surrendering an animal when they're not able to take care of that animal or having that kind of knowledge. Just seeing a lot of things being brought up in various reviews that has me going, "Yeah...nope!" So I'll be cutting my losses with this one.
All thoughts, feelings, experiences, and opinions are honest and my own.

The name was what did it for me.
Also I'm a sucker for holiday romances it adds to the world building.
This was a super cute book, definitely would read again.

Not the biggest romance fan but i try the ones that have my special interest involved, so here, it's the cats. I like the little cat bio things at the chapters. wasn't too hard to get through.

OMG what a cute and adorable book! If you love cats (like I do), this book is for you. You'll be left wanting to snuggle all the kittens! Their relationship felt very healthy and healing. After both of them have faced hardships, especially with dating, these two really help one another heal. This is the perfect read to kick start your holiday romances!

Kara Ingalls is in over her head with cats. With a struggling cat cafe, she enlists the help of marketing guru Ben Reese to help turn things around. Kara finds him annoyingly smart and attractive, but is determined to keep things professional between them.
This book is centered around a few of my favorite things- cats, coffee, and Christmas, plus a little romance and cute banter thrown in for good measure. I felt that both the lead characters had really well-fleshed out backstories which made them feel more like real people in their hesitation to pursue a relationship with each other.
Overall it was a cute and fun holiday read.
Thank you to NetGalley and Forever (Grand Central Publishing) for a digital ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Great book. I was able to connect with characters and the plot. I recommend this book……………………………..,,,,.

A cute Christmas romance! I loved the cats in this story so much and i loved how each chapter was headed with a different cat and traits, so cute! The FMC and MMC were adorable and I really connected with them throughout the story. Honestly, this book just made me wish for a cat cafe near me and made me sad I don't have one, A fun, fast romance that just happens to be set during Christmas time, plus cats!

Kara’s cat cafe really needs a Christmas miracle - and that miracle might just be marketing genius Ben.
So I really thought this would be super cheesy - like it is set in a Cat Cafe and I’m not a cat person. However I really liked it, and I’m impatiently waiting on the sequel from the library. (Only ~3 weeks left! I’m 3rd in line!)

This one was super cute! The grumpiness, the growth, the cats! I just enjoyed seeing how these two developed throughout the story, and worked together. Just a fun concept for a holiday romance!

A sweet and sappy second chance romance and add adorable kitties! YESSSS!
Kara and Ben’s chemistry is hot! I loved the setting and Christmas time feel to this one.
Both characters are likeable and fun to read about.

I love cats so I HAD to read this one, and I'm so glad I did because I loved this one so much. Christmas, Coffee, and Cats - what's not to love?

As a cat, coffee and “cat cafe” lover, I really wanted to love this one too! Unfortunately I couldn’t connect to the characters and the story fell flat for me.
