I have tried to read this book at least 5 times and for some reason I cannot make it past chapter 5. Mind you, this doesn't mean that the book is bad or anything like that, it is just not my cup of tea. While I adore cat cafe's, Christmas related romance novels, both combined did not do it for me.

Kara is the owner of a cat cafe with more cats available for adoption than customers and she needs help. Lucky for her, Ben comes up with a marketing plan to get the cafe actually making a profit by Christmas. As they work together to build business and get the cats to all have homes by Christmas, the attraction starts to build despite their differences.

My favorite part of this book were the blurbs about the cats in the cafe at the beginning of each chapter. The story itself was not my favorite but if you like cats and sweet Hallmark holiday movies it might be a win for you. While I liked Kara and Ben as individuals, I just didn’t feel their chemistry as a couple.

Thank you to Forever Publishing and NetGalley for the advance copy.

Oh my goodness, I want to live inside the world of this book forever. What a charming, sweet, and lovely holiday read. This book is pure magic and I cannot recommend it enough!

An absolutely well done “opposites attract” romance. This book was so funny! And who doesn’t like cats?

This quick Christmas read was another book that reminded me of a Hallmark Christmas Movie. A quirky scene with quirky moments, isn't that what we all love in our Christmas movies? This one is a clean romance, so don't expect any spice in this one. Even without the spice, it is a super sweet read.

Grumpy/sunshine is one of my favorite tropes. The cat cafe is an intersting premise for the women running it, and they are creative in figuring out ways to bring in money to keep the cafe afloat.

‘A Cat Cafe Christmas’ by Codi Gary was absolutely adorable and as a proud cat lady, I can safely say it’s become a favorite. The romance was heartwarming, the little adoption ads for the cats at the beginning of every chapter made the book more immersive (and me more emotional), and there was just enough drama to keep things interesting. This book is perfect not only for the holidays, but year-round too, and one I will definitely be rereading in the future. Highly recommend!

3.5 ⭐️

This was a fun Christmas story that was filled with cats! I enjoyed this book, but felt that it was too long. It drug in the middle and I felt like the writing was overly descriptive in some spots. I enjoyed the plot and the characters and of course, the cats at the cafe!

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the advanced digital copy of this book.

3.5 stars! This was such a cute read; light hearted, yet developed, relatable characters, and obviously the cats stole the show. The perfect holiday read!

I absolutely loved this book! Both characters, Ben and Kara, have their personal emotional baggage which is written really well, helping them to feel incredibly human and real. I enjoyed the side characters as well and would love to see a second book written that stars them.

Thank you to Forever Publishing and Netgalley for my digital ARC. All reviews are my own.

The first half of this was so cute. The hero works in marketing and the heroine is a vet who works for a non profit cat cafe. The heroine was betrayed by an ex and the hero was as well, so they both don't want to trust people. I really loved how many cats were in this book and how the heroine was so passionate about them and turned the hero into a cat person. He keeps popping around and wants to help her get the donations she needs for her cafe. But once the halfway point came, the conflict was drawn out and the heroine constantly pushed the hero away when nothing was his fault. The book went on at least 50 pages too long and, at that point, I was over the story. So while it was a super cute holiday romance, the last half lost me.

loved so many things about this book! i loved the drawings and descriptions of the adoptable cats at the beginning of each chapter. i loved the strong friendship between kara and charity. i loved kara’s passion for helping cats in need. i loved seeing ben slowly start to become a cat person as a little kitten named chaos stole his heart. i loved reading about everyday life at the cat café. and i loved how kara and ben brought out the best in each other. this was such a heartwarming read for the holiday season.

Ben, marketing professional and “not a cat person”(his words) seems to have annoyed the wrong veterinarian. Kara, co-owner of the Meow and Furrever Cat Cafe, is living her dream - but when there are more cats than customers, it’ll be a miracle to make it past the holidays. Though his marketing ambush is not welcome, Kara and Ben will have to work together to get all the cat adopted so they can have a “meowy” Christmas.

Listen, I couldn’t help myself with that pun.

I had a lot of fun reading this one! One of the highlights was definitely Ben’s kitten - the fact that Ben was his safe person was the sweetest thing ever, especially with how reluctant Ben was to keep the kitten at all.

I also really appreciated the inside look at shelters - so many shelters have trouble making ends meet, and having a passionate vet who is willing to undercut her value for the animals is a common occurrence.

The cat dating bios throughout were adorable, and I was so happy to see kitties getting their happily ever afters too! What a sweet book, and a good reminder to adopt, not shop!

As someone who loves cats and Christmas I couldn’t think of a more perfect book for me. Waiting for the day I’ll find someone that will fall in love with me and my cat. 10/10 recommend to anyone who loves cozy Christmas romances (and cats)

This is a really cute take on a Christmas story. I love cats so that was an added bonus. The characters were relatable. I’ll be reading more from her in the future.

Cats and Christmas are like, my two favorite things, so I knew that I was going to love this book!

This was a delightful, tropey, Hallmark-esque romance and I truly enjoyed it!! This opposites attract romance between two people trying to start over was just the fluffy holiday romance I was looking for.

Kara owns the Meow and Furrever Cat Cafe. Unfortunately, she needs a miracle because she has more cats than customers. Enter Ben who is in marketing and has a plan that will help the cafe.

Ben and Kara were awesome. I love the grumpy meets grumpy side of it. They have both been burned in the past but I love seeing the romance bloom between them. The cats were absolutely a big part of this book and it's charm. Each chapter has the bio of a cat up for adoption and I loved it.

I love Christmas and cats. This book is lacking neither of those things. It was a nice, warm read.

Thank you to NetGalley, Forever Publishing, and Cody Gary for the e-ARC. This review is my own opinion.
