This workbook provides a practical guide for anyone struggling to break free from toxic relationships. Written by a licensed therapist, it helps readers understand trauma bonds, process their experiences, and begin healing. The book starts by clearly explaining what trauma bonding is, using relatable examples that help normalize the complex emotions survivors often feel. Then it engages readers through writing prompts, self-assessments, and mindfulness exercises like walking meditations. The progression from recognizing unhealthy patterns to reclaiming identity and preparing for healthier relationships feels thoughtful and empowering.
While the content broadly applies to various abusive dynamics, those recovering from non-physical abuse might need to adapt some examples to fit their experiences. Though not a replacement for therapy, this workbook serves as a valuable companion for the healing journey.
Thank you to the publishers and NetGalley for the opportunity to review a temporary digital ARC in exchange for an unbiased review.

This had some good exercises and information. It's not my favorite but I think it could be used in tandem with other resources for treatment.
