Absolutely loved this book from start to finish and did not see the ending coming!

Despite a childhood in the care system, Anna Price believes shehas beaten the odds, left her previous life and everyone in it to move on and build an idyllic sounding life for herself - a beautiful seaside home, a devoted husband, a best friends and a job she absolutely loves. But one day all that changes.

When Detective Inspector Walker appears at Anna’s door, her world begins to fall apart. It seems her estranged brother Henryis a wanted serial killer, and the police need Anna’s help to catch him before he strikes again. Then when things couldn't get any worse and Anna is having to relive nightmares she had packed away, an envelope turns up on her doorstep and that childhood game of 'Hunt' is back to haunt her, only this time there is a life at stake and Anna must solve the riddle to win at all costs…

Twists, turns, revenge, evil, family all play their part in the plot!

This was just okay for me. I hadn't read the previous books in the series so maybe that was my problem with it. The twists were unbelievable for me, but I'm sure some readers will be willing to suspend disbelief. I finished it so it obviously had something to keep me reading.
Thanks for the ARC.

I received a free copy of, The Serial Killer's Sister, by Alice Hunter, from the publisher and Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. Anna is doing well for herself, until one day the cop show up to talk about her estranged brother, Henry. Is Henry a serial killer? Will he kill Anna? Such a suspenseful read, not sure if I liked it though, the main characters are not very likeable.

Loved every bit of this book.
Anna and her brother brought up in terrible circumstances which then brings us right up to date. The story goes back and forth and with only a handful of characters is easy to follow.
I thought i knew exactly what was going on but oh how wrong was i.
The story right until the very end is full of surprises.
Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for my copy.
A fantastic thriller.

The Serial Killer's Sister is the first of the set I've read, but it works well as a standalone. The novel is well written, with interesting characters, all of whom have secrets. The pace is fast and the twists keep coming, leaving the reader trying to catch up.

The novel revolves around Devon based teacher Anna. Her life unravels as police tell her that her estranged brother has killed several women. Trouble at work and trouble at home follow. Is he pulling the strings or is paranoia taking over?

Elements of Anna's back story in a children's home are told in a separate time line, giving us some knowledge of her past. But why is her brother killing? And is she his final intended victim? The ending is dramatic, and (no spoilers) contains several surprises.

A gripping book from Alice Hunter about Anna who appears to have the perfect life. However out of the blue a policeman arrives on her doorstep asking about her brother who is an escaped serial killer. This takes her back to her life in the care system and what she did to survive. A twisty thriller which I would definitely recommend.

What a fun and unique concept! I dived into this and flew through it. I couldn't put it down. I needed to know what would happen next and was so surprised at every turn. I saw that this is the third book in a "series" and I can't wait to go back and read the rest!

I felw through this in a day
After reading the previous titles, I had high hopes and I wasn't disappointed. I was hooked from the start and loved the cat and mouse with plenty red herrings twists and turns. It's so well written that it's impossible not to be drawn in. The dual timelines are cleverly plotted out so you don't even realise just what's going on until the big reveals. I didn't for a second guess where this one was going. Absolutely recommend

I have read the previous two books by this author and they were fantastic. This was no different it was thrilling and exciting just like the other two.

The main character Anna is living is enjoying her life with her husband and a job she loves a life that she has worked hard for after a difficult childhood. Then the police pay her a visit to talk about a serial killer who they have identified as her brother. Anna then has to enter a game that she did not want to have to play again with her brother and the end could be deadly.

I will definitely be recommending this thriller it was an excellent read with a fantastic jaw dropping ending. Thanks to Netgalley and the publishers for the opportunity to read this book in exchange for an honest review.

After reading and loving the Serial Killer's Wife and the Serial Killer's Daughter, I was so excited to read Alice Hunter's newest book. This book centers around Anna who finds out her younger brother Henry has killed five women in the last three years on two specific dates. This leads to a cat and mouse game between Anna and Henry as one the dates is approaching leaving Anna in a race against time to prevent another murder.

The overall premise of this book was really interesting and I loved the plot twist at the end. However I did find the dual timelines incredibly annoying at times and it felt like we as the reader were left in the dark about what was happening up until the last 20% of the book. Despite the book being written in first person, the main character's narration is extremely unreliable and she appears evasive which made the reading experience quite frustrating. Upon finishing the book, both of these choices make sense but I found they made the book quite difficult to get through.

Overall, I love this series however this book fell slightly flat for me.

I really enjoyed the previous books, so was super excited to read this one.
I was drawn in straight away and raced through it in almost one sitting.
It’s another great crime thriller with plenty of twists throughout and a fabulous ending.

Having read all of Ms Hunters books, this one was a must for me. Needless to say, I was not disappointed. Each of her books are a comfortable and easy read and this was no different. The characters are extremely well fleshed out leaving a lot to like as well as the odd nagging doubt that something isn’t quite what it seems.

The main character "Anna" is living an idyllic life when police pay her a visit to talk about some murdered women and the fact that her brother may be involved. A deadly game called ‘The Hunt’ ensues and it’s on. Between the police, the clues left and random dates, the mysteries must be solved.

Written well. Loved every second of this. Finished it in 36 hours. And the twist…….nope! Didn’t see that coming!

Anna and Kirsty are friends who live in a children's home. Their brother's also live there. Anna's younger brother is bullied, and loves to play a game called The Hunt with her.making up and solving riddles to find an item.
Years later, Anna is married, has a good job as a teacher, and is happy.
Then the police appear at her door needing her help to find Henry, who they believe is a serial killer. He kills on two dates, her birthday and another day, that she denies knowing the significance of.
She does her own investigative work solving the clues Henry is leaving for her. What she discovers is life changing, her past comes back to haunt her. The secret that she and Henry vowed to keep is in danger of being exposed to the world.

A riveting book. It just kept me on the edge of my seat constantly.
The twist at the end is mind blowing! I definitely recommend.

This talented and gifted author has written a cannot put down novel. Mystery and intrigue…murder and mayhem…the main character is told by the police that her estranged brother is a murderer. She believes them and becomes concerned for her life. In the meantime, her life implodes. She loses her job as a teacher and her marriage dissolves. Chaos ensues. Red herrings make this story almost impossible to figure out. There is a point, late in the book, when the answers become obvious. This book was sent to me electronically by Netgalley for review. Thanks to the publisher and the author.

As soon as I saw this I instantly downloaded it and read it in one sitting. Anna Price had a tough start in life growing up in a care home with her brother. When DI Walker knocks on her door claiming her brother is a serial killer and he needs her help to stop him. Her world around her collapses when everything goes horribly wrong.

I absolutely loved the two previous books by Alice and this one is just as thrilling and exciting. You don't need to have read the previous books they are all standalone reads. I loved the fast pace of the storyline and how it all played out. There is a massive plot twist that had me thinking about this long after I'd finished reading. I absolutely loved this book and I'm already looking forward to reading the next book by Alice
