This book is so organized! From details on what common equipment is essential for the home baker, to explanations of different cooking and baking terms that the novice baker may not know. The book is broken up into sections and includes both sweet and savory items. There's even a section for kids! This is a fantastic all-in-one cookbook for pretty much any type of baking you may ever do.

Love Mary Berry!! This is like the answer book for every baking required on the Greatest British Bake OFF!! The photo's are crisp and beautiful, the recipes laid out well. There are measurement conversations and baking temperature conversations making this baking bible useful globally! The recipes seem easy and if followed can provide beautiful and yummy results as shown on the pages. She offers suggestions when the correct cake/bake would make sense as well as a Baking Secrets section that will allow the reader to become a wonderful baker. Favorite recipes from across the pond and throughout Europe are provided. Definitely an essential add to any baking library.

I love GBBO and miss Mary Berry so so much ... but this book made up for it and I have already purchased a personal copy for myself and one for our library.
Great recipes with stories and insights abound - there are some old-school classics here that you may have never made and should. (Remember the episode where not one baker had heard of ANGEL FOOD CAKE??????)
The recipes are well written and this is a perfect idea for a wedding shower gift if you are wondering what to get a bride who probably has everything they need already.
