Another adorable Amish tale. It was a nice change to read about a couple that didn't demand the non-Amish person convert to Amish. It was a very accurate portrayal of a healthy relationship.

I was tickled pink when I got this book! Woo-hoo! I love these two ladies so very much!
In this book, they made me love them that much more!
I don't know when I've smiled or giggled so much! Esther and Lizzie are a hoot!
This is the best story ever! I finished this book in one day, I mean, I just couldn't help myself!
Ol Mr. Dentists sure didn't know what he set himself up for when he moved into Gus' old cottage, lol, and I laughed at Lizzie's superstitious notions. But I really can't blame her cause I have them myself!
She's quite the character, but ya gotta love her! She's definitely a no-nonsense lady and tells it like it is. Esther, on the other hand, is a lot more like me. She tries to keep the peace! That's why I love these ladies!
They're definitely special! I feel like they're family!
I love the many inspirational messages in this beautiful story!
This is a wonderful reminder to keep the faith no matter what!
The cover of the book is delightful, and it will make readers pick this book up because they'll definitely want to know what they're talking about!
5 stars for a well written story! I enjoyed it so much! I highly recommend it!
My thanks for a copy of this book. I was NOT required to write a positive review. All opinions expressed are my own.

The Amish Matchmakers by Beth Wiseman
Series: The Amish Inn (but is also a stand-alone novel)
Release Date: October 17, 2023 by Zondervan
Genre: Amish Romance, Amish & Mennonite Fiction, Christian Fiction

I highly recommend The Amish Matchmakers to every reader who enjoys stories of faith, trust, family, friendship, and laughter. This five-star entertaining novel is comprised of lovable characters with such unique personalities and talents.

Beth Wiseman, best-selling author and multi-award winner, writes what I call escape scapes! I so greatly enjoy the humor, bantering, and the Bible-based faith elements throughout this story. Each person in this story represents the Amish community in a real-life manner -- complete with illnesses and challenges. Wiseman explains many Amish traditions which I appreciate as I love to learn new things.

Besides Lizzie, Esther, and Mindy, what I loved the most about The Amish Matchmakers are the many messages woven throughout the tale to bring each reader closer to God and remind the reader of His absolute truths.

The Amish Matchmakers is such a wholesome, satisfying, funny, lovable page-turner.

I received an eArc of The Amish Matchmakers from Zondervan through NetGalley.com. I was not required to write a review or paid to do so. The words above are my honest review of this fabulous book that I'm sure to re-read many times!

When The Amish Matchmakers is released (10.17.23) or within thirty days prior to the release date, I will post this review to my blog, my Instagram account, Goodreads, Christianbook.com, Amazon.com, and many more online sites.

A fun book! Great to be back in The Peony Inn with the matchmaking sisters, Evelyn and Lizzie. The new characters Ben and Mindy were enjoyable to get to know as well!

Thanks so much to netgalley and the publisher for the arc. The opinions are my own

Such a fun story when two sisters, Esther and Lizzie, the local matchmakers, decide to matchmaker for each other. Turns out, it is the same man, a retired dentist named Benjamin Stoltzfus, a retired dentist. There is a little mystery behind the English man with an Amish last name who rents a cabin front the sisters. Read along to see if either sister ends up with Benjamin and if there is more to his story than he is willing to share.

I voluntarily received a complimentary copy of this book from NetGalley and the publisher for my honest review. All words and opinions are my own.

I get such a kick out of the situations that Lizzie and Esther manage to get themselves into when they go into matchmaking mode. This book is especially enjoyable because they are each trying to match the other with the same man. The banter between these two sisters is priceless and makes me smile. I love the way the ending sets up the next book in the series. I also looked up recipes for chow chow and think I will give that a try.

Esther and Lizzie are sisters and widows and they run the Peony Inn, an Amish Bed & Breakfast. One of their tenants is Dr. Benjamin Stoltzfus , a retired dentist. Esther and Lizzie fancy themselves matchmakers and have, indeed, been matchmakers to a number of couples over the years. Both of them are attracted to the retired dentist but they both attempt to make a match for their sister that they love. Ben has a clear favorite though he has esteem for both. It''s funny and engaging and Ben's granddaughter falling in love with their neighbor and friend who helps them around the Inn sweetens the story.

I have voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book that I received from NetGalley. All views expressed are only my own honest opinion.

BLURB: Widowed sisters Esther and Lizzie are the town innkeepers—and the town matchmakers. But when a new tenant moves into a guest cottage at their Peony Inn, the sisters are shocked to discover that maybe this time, one of them might finally find a match of her own. Retired dentist Dr. Benjamin Stoltzfus has signed a six-month lease at the cottage—and gentle Esther and spirited Lizzie are in a surprising competition for the kind doctor’s affections. Dr. Stoltzfus doesn’t appear to be Amish, but his last name and his mysterious background have the sisters guessing—and open to the possibility of finding love again.

Things really heat up when Benjamin’s granddaughter, Mindy, comes to visit. Escaping her big-city life in Texas, Mindy has moved to Amish country to be closer to her grandfather and to embrace the simpler life she has longed for. But she’s unprepared for what happens when an attractive young Amish man, who spends time at the inn helping out the widows, runs his lawnmower right into her little red sports car. Sure, Gabriel is cute and funny and nice—but can a romance between an Englisch girl and an Amish boy end well?

As Mindy and Gabriel find themselves thrown together time after time, they forge a friendship and start making matchmaking plans of their own. Which sister would be better for Mindy’s grandfather—Esther or Lizzie? And as the two young people put their energy into playing Cupid, it looks like love and the life they’ve both dreamed of might also be finding them.

REVIEW: I adore Amish romances and Beth is fast becoming a one-click author for me. This book was no exception. It was such a sweet, faith filled story of love and family, of commitment and friendships and community.

I devoured this in one sitting.

Thank you to NetGalley for a copy of this in return for my honest review.

Esther and Lizzie are at it again, but instead of looking for a love match for others they are looking at one for each other. Too bad it is the same man. Enjoyed this one, and had trouble putting it down. Highly recommend this book, and while it could be read alone, I encourage you to read the others too.
