Just wow! I’m so thrilled to find a new to me author! Colleen Coble is fantastic! I loved everything about this story. So many secrets and lies. It was impossible to know who to trust. Lots of creepy vibes and then huge family vibes. Lots of strength in underlying tones. Packed with emotion. Don’t miss this one!
Thank you NetGalley, Colleen Coble and Tomas Nelson Fiction for the opportunity to read and review this cracker of a book.

Colleen Coble has done it again. Fragile Designs is a fast paced romantic mystery that involves a lost Faberge egg, the Russian mob, and a family shattered. The story is filled with courage, family love, and generosity. Family wounds can be healed, hearts can be mended, and love can be found. This is a story you don’t want to miss! I was able to read an ARC on #NetGalley.

I have always loved Colleen Coble's romantic suspense books and was excited to get my hands and eyes on her newest release, Fragile Designs. No disappointment here. It was great. Five stars.

Loved it!!! I really didn't know much about Fabergé eggs, so I found the history surrounding them interesting. I was really wishing Carly's sisters would be targeted. Who would miss them? They were so spoiled and bratty and thought Carly owed them the world. Their arrival at the house seemed so premature for the work they would be doing on the bed-and-breakfast. I was shocked when it was finally revealed who was behind everything. Not surprised that this person would go to those lengths just for money. She/He seemed the type to put money above anything else. Carly was lucky to find Lucas. He's definitely a better choice than his brother or Eric. Eric's greedy and sneaky actions set everything in motion. I loved the mystery behind the eggs and the adoptions. I couldn't wait for everything to be solved.
Definitely recommend the book. Loved the characters, story and writing style. It was a great mystery that had me guessing until the end. Look forward to reading more books by the author.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from Thomas Nelson--FICTION through NetGalley. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

I loved this novel — the connection with a Faberge egg was such a fun approach. The hero and heroine are fantastic and I love the way they play off each other. They are both surrounded by a rich group of additional characters. There are some twists and turns and moments of taunt tension. Another great book from one of my favorite authors.

Carly is trying to put her life back together after the murder of her husband. When she finds a missing Faberge Egg people around end up dead. There are multiple groups that could be looking for the egg and they will stop at nothing to retrieve the egg. Added to this is the tensions within her own family and you have a story that will keep you turning the pages. There is a mystery with a few unexpected twists along with a romance. You can’t be sure who to trust, everyone seems to have a hidden motive. Thank you to net galley for an advanced readers copy.

Carly Harris is finally finding her feet again when she uncovers a secret that leads to another shock but it all leads to grands finale that's well rather grand. Carly just wanted a family thats functional. But with influences what they are it wasn't happening.
Lucas Bennett was always leary of the girl next door but when she broke her brothers heart she really put on the avoid at all costs list. But things are not always what they seem.
An intertwined, interweaving suspenseful and engaging story.
This was my first story for this Coble but not my last.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading Fragile Designs by Colleen Coble. The story takes place after the murder of Carly's husband Eric and her subsequent move to live with her Grandmother. Her Grandmother suggests that they turn her home into a B&B and while helping with the cleaning of the attic Carly finds a letter and object that opens up a can of worms and a lot of mystery. The story has a lot of twists/turns and characters that can become a bit confusing at times but it all works out in the end. There is romance and heartbreak and lots of family drama.
I want to thank #NetGalley and publisher for the digital advance reader copy of the book for my review.

I’m a fan of Coleen Coble, but this book missed the mark for me. There’s a lot going on in this woman’s life, and her knowledge that she had found a valuable Faberge egg with little verification was just too easy. I give it 3.5 stars.

This book was incredible. I was hooked from the first page and kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. I loved the characters so much. They were easy to relate to and I would love to know them in real life.

This story begins with wonderful news, with her marriage in trouble, Carly is excited to learn they are expecting. Moments later she is going to be a single Mom, but as the facts unfold and the secrets drop, more than you can possibly imagine!
This is a read that is full of surprises, and yet, full of the love for family, and we journey for answers and findings. and I loved the Author's Notes, and her fascination with Faberge eggs, and we are along as she weaves one into this mystery!
Filled with action, and strong on emotions, I needed answers, and with some comes warm hugs and love, but then there are those that really surprise you.
There is a bit of romance and there are babies, along with sisters! But will all survive to the end?
I received this book through Net Galley and the Publisher Thomas Nelson, and was not required to give a positive review.

This is a great, fast paced story.
Since the mysterious death of her husband, Eric, Carly has been trying to put the pieces of her life back together while making sure everyone around her is happy, usually at her expense. When she finds a trunk left to her by her grandmother, her whole world starts to change. Decades old secrets come to light, the truth about her husband is revealed, family heirlooms are found and fought over, and all while many dangerous people seem to be after her and her family. Carly and her neighbor, Luke, work hard to uncover what exactly is going on and who can be trusted.
Action packed, drama filled story of love, loss and family. A must read.

Secrets abound as Lucas helps Carly find her grandmother’s twin, the truth about a Faberge’ egg in Carly’s keeping and the mysterious murder of her husband. Fragile Designs overflows with suspense and a second chance at love after heartbreaking disappointment. Fragile Designs is another excellent story from Colleen Coble with perfect characters and perfect setting with one of my favorite places in the Lowcountry.
I received an advanced reader copy from Thomas Nelson and Netgalley. Opinions are my own.

A sweet romance develops during the mystery. Family secrets. Lots of bad guys searching for the egg. Delightful ending. Thanks to the publisher for providing a copy via NetGalley. My review is voluntary.

As with all of this author’s titles, I found myself drawn immediately into a story that left me on the edge of my seat and wanting more. This story talks about generational loss, mystery, and a great love story.
The author could easily make this a series as I find myself wanting to know more about the characters after it finished.
Thank you to netgalley and the publisher for allowing me to read and review this book. All opinions are my own.

Wow, what a great read.
Intrigue , suspense , murder and more murders, family, relationships , drama , love , betrayal are all in this book.
We follow Carly and Luke throughout this book. Carly is recently widowed and goes to live with her grandma for help with her newborn and to help her grandma.
Her husbands death seems natural but as she gets more Information things seem suspicious. Maybe he didn’t die of natural causes ?
Luke is a neighbor and a detective who gets pulled into the intrigue and suspense of who done it and who Carly has become . He enjoyed spending time with her and her baby and suddenly bachelorhood doesn’t seem as great as it used to be.
Carly finds out she has inherited a Faberge egg. Interestingly I recently read another book about Faberge eggs and so knew abit about the history and how valued and rare these books are . They are incredibly rare. The story of how and why she inherited it includes an unknown adoption , another country , an orphanage.
This story has a lot of different characters , twists and turns . It is incredibly well done and kept me hooked the entire time . I will read this one again. Thank you to Netgalley for a copy of this book in exchange for an unbiased review.

I got this ARC from Net Galley. I had received a few at the same time and couldn't really remember what I had. I read a couple and then started to read this one. I didn't love the first bit and wasn't sure about it so I read another book first. I picked it up again when I remembered who the author was. I like Coble's books.. It didn't take much more time reading before I was fully invested in the story. It was quite a mystery with several twists I didn't anticipate. A great romantic suspense story. A few more dead bodies than expected but all in all a good read.

I really enjoyed this story about murder, family secrets, and romance. Carly and Lucas were likeable characters, and the plot had lots of twists. This is Christian fiction so expect discussions of God. Recommended for lovers of romantic suspense.

When I first started this book I wasn’t sure when it was going or if it was what I wanted to read right now. Silly’s me, this is Colleen Coble, I have enjoyed her books from the first one so,many years ago.
This was a great read and one that kept me up way past my bedtime.
Was there too many characters?Possible but Colleen did a great job of weaving them all together.
For the most part she did wrap all up nicely.
Well done
Thank you Netgalley for an advanced copy for my honest opinion.

Fragile Designs is a book about love, history, and…the mafia?
This is only my second Colleen Coble book, and I enjoyed it. The story wasn’t realistic, but it is a story. The writing is clear and descriptive. The characters were easy to tell apart because they were each so different. There was real character development as well.
I will say I didn’t like all of the relationship overlaps. It was messy to imagine a woman marrying her ex’s friend—and then having the same ex’s brother be her love interest here. There are billions of people in the world. I also didn’t like Carly’s need to set herself (and anyone around her) on fire to keep others warm. She had an infant to consider first and foremost, and she didn’t always do that.
The ending was satisfying, and I’ll be looking into more of the author’s books in the future.
I was given this book as an ARC from Thomas Nelson Fiction and Netgalley in exchange for my honest opinion.
