One of my favorite popcorn thriller authors! This was so much fun and such a fast-paced read. I always love Freida’s twists and two-sided stories. Thank you to Poisoned Press for the early copy!

This is really worth it! I've been a Freida McFadden fan since I don't know when and all her creation is *chef's kiss*.

A bit underwhelming

I give this book 3.5 stars. I can’t say it’s my fav of Freida McFadden. The plot twist was just meh, no wow factor. No the turtle is creepy and Dawn was lowkey annoying.

I absolutely love Freida but I didn’t think I could stand one more turtle fact or reference. Then the emails got on my nerves. I’m glad I stuck with it and finished because I love her twists and humor.

I really enjoyed this book. I was looking forward to reading it and glad to get a copy early! I read this book in a day because I had to know what was happening and it did not disappoint! It was fast paced and kept me guessing until the end.
I always know a Freida book is going to be good but this one is one of my favorites!

This is going to be an unpopular opinion.... but this was a let down. The story was so far fetched that it was annoying. What do turtles have to do with coworkers and a murder? They are mentioned so many times in this story. Not my cup of tea.

Wow!! This storyline will definitely be sticking with me! Such interesting & strange characters! I loved getting to know them! This was a great, fast paced book in which nothing is as it seems, even in the final pages!

Another amazing thriller from Frieda! I didn’t see the ending coming, as usual! Would 10/10 recommend!

This book would have actually been enjoyable without the four hundred mentions of turtles. The story was interesting enough to have me wanting to know how it ended with a surprising twist at the end.

I read this book in one sitting! Kept me up all night! The plot twist were definitely twisting in this one! Absolutely loved it.. Freida never misses!

I LOVE everything about her books. She is fantastic and keeps readers on a rife the whole time. There are twists and turns around every corner and every time you think you know... you don't. That's saying something to....because I've been an investigator haha. I can't wait to see what she does next!

I’m a huge fan of this author. This writing was ok. It did not wow me. The turtle throughout the story was annoying. This is different from her previous writings too.

This is not my favorite by the author, but a descent read. I did not see the twist coming. Fans of the author will enjoy it.

Freida always gets me! I love her writing style. I usually finish one of her books in less than 24 hours, and this one was no different.

This was the funniest thriller I have ever read. The silliness kept me invested and I laughed out loud at the characters. I think The Coworker was both my least favorite book by Freida but also the most memorable one.

McFadden books can be a hit or miss for me but I enjoyed this one. It’s a fast read and enjoyed both Dawns and Natalie’s POV. There were a couple parts of the story that I did guess but overall the story kept me reading and guessing.

I am a big Frieda fan, but this was before her recent social media presence. I feel that since this happened, the quality of her writing has significantly declined. I was with her all the way up to The Inmate and since then, I keep reading, but her writing has changed. The Coworker was ok. The turtles were annoying and while I understood that they were included to highlight the character's neurodiversity, it wasn't necessary. I will keeping reading her because of my OG fan status but I hope now that she is an author full time, she will slow down and stop cranking out less entertaining books.

final laugh in this very enjoyable story.

Absolutely amazing read from Freida! Couldn’t put it down the entire time. Keeps you hooked from start to finish and now I have a weird concern for people obsessed with turtles

Another great thriller from this author. I enjoyed the characters in this story, and the plot twist at the end, I didn't see coming. Really enjoyed this fast paced book.
