I totally understand the excitement over library day, it STILL makes me giddy lol – so I struggle to even like Alyssa (just kiddin). Alright, I may like her a little more since she unleashed the dinosaurs at the library! This book is beautifully illustrated and is full of humor and soooo much color!!! Yay for Mrs. Barker for saving the day! Thank you to Netgalley and AG Allen for a digital copy of There Are Dinosaurs in the Library, I am super excited to recommend this fabulous picture book to all my little friends and I can’t wait to read it to my little grandmuffin – although – I may need to google how to pronounce some of the dinosaurs correctly 😉

The feel of this book reminds me of Abbott Elementary, with vivid illustrations and eye-catching fonts.

Libraries mixed with dinosaurs is a winning combination, a story that would appeal to kindergarteners and have them eager to get to the library.

A great story for kids at home and teachers alike to emphasize the power of imagination.

Thank you to NetGalley for the opportunity to read this book and give my honest opinion.

This is such a cute picture book! I think it will get kids flocking to the library if they didn't already check this book out from one.

This is a cute colourful book with nice animations for younger children. This book will likely be enjoyed by children who enjoy dinosaurs. My three-year-old enjoyed the book and found it funny to see dinosaurs coming out of the library book. Overall, this is a fun book to read and it is a good way to discuss with younger kids that they can immerse themselves into any story that they find in the library.

Thank you to AllenED and NetGalley or providing me with a free electronic copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

A fun story about how libraries and books are magic. Kids can learn the names of different dinosaurs and what they look like.

Young kids may like this. For me, it was too much like other books currently published, and I didn't like the illustration style.

A lively story that stresses the importance of reading and the imagination. The story fully leans into the notion of the words jumping off the pages. Libraries also receive a nod in this hilarious tale. This book is exciting and a great choice for children between the ages of 2-8.

Alyssa thinks that the library is boring, but the librarian knows just how to show her and the rest of the class just how much fun it can be by introducing them to the world of dinosaurs. This is a fun book that teaches without fanfare and can be loved by all, including this grandma.
The illustrations by Octavio Cordova are delightful, fun, imaginative, colorful, and well done.
Well suited for reading WITH someone of any age including ESL, and great for gifting to anyone, but especially to a school or teacher or your public library!
I requested and received a free temporary e-book from AllenED via NetGalley. Thank you!

"There Are Dinosaurs in the Library!" is an adorable book that sparks imaginative adventures for young readers. A.G. Allen's storytelling taps into children's fascination with dinosaurs and the joy of library visits. The concept of dinosaurs in the library captivates young readers, blending reality with fantasy. However, some scenes may imply potential aggression, so parents and educators should consider the age appropriateness and emotional readiness of children. Overall, the book maintains a lighthearted and enjoyable tone. The illustrations bring the story to life and the relatable characters emphasize the importance of imaginative play. Ultimately, the book celebrates imagination and the wonders found in books, offering young readers a glimpse into a world where anything is possible, even dinosaurs roaming in a library.

As a lover of the library, I love that this children’s book emphasizes the imagination of the library and reading to young readers. My little one that loves dinosaurs absolutely loved it! Not to mention the illustrations are stunning. I think this is a great addition to any library, especially some school libraries to teach about dinosaurs and the magic that can only happen in the pages of a book and the accessibility of the library. Thank you to Netgalley and AllenED publishing for an ARC copy to read and review. I cannot wait to add this to our collection on publication day.

There Are Dragons In The Library!

This is a tribute to book readers, library fans and dinosaur lovers. There is danger in the library, it is a subversive place. You can change your mind, you can change your life.

A student, who could be called a reluctant reader, learns about the excitement of reading and books in this imaginative tale with its cute, funny, spirited illustrations.

I have been saying for some years now that anyone who doesn’t like to read just hasn't found the right book yet. This book underscores that opinion.

There Are Dinosaurs in the Library is a wonderful book about going to the library! When the teacher says the class is going to the library, one student is reluctant, but she's convinced because the teacher says there are dinosaurs there!

I really appreciated the illustrations showing a diverse class. I think it's important for all our kids to see themselves represented in books.

The illustrations in this book are delightful, the Jurassic Park feel when the dinosaurs escape the page is so much fun, and best of all, the kids will want to go to the library again! Great book for kids who are interested in dinosaurs!

Thanks Netgalley and the publisher for the opportunity to review this eARC in exchange for my honest review on the book!
