I will say I did like this book a lot. I liked the relationship that bloomed between Presley and Beckett. I enjoyed how they balanced each other out in a way that felt natural but what I didn't like is this whole "our lives are so different we wont work out". Like people it's the 21st century, if you love someone move or find a new job or literally do anything to make it work because you LOVE them! I dont know it always feels a little off putting that something so trivial can tear apart this incredible love. With that said I did really like the book and cant want to continue with the series.

“Love, Naturally”, being the first book in the Rock Bottom Love series, follows Presley Ayers, an aspiring hotel manager and social media personality, as she embarks on the surprise trip she had scheduled for her boyfriend’s birthday (now ex). She is not the outdoorsy type, but she is set on enjoying her getaway at Get Lost Lodge—and that’ll be easy with the help of Beckett Keller, one of the owners of said lodge. Their inexplicable pull and an unfortunate set of circumstance lead to them bunking together, but what’s the point of even thinking about being together if Presley’s visit is just temporary, right? Right?
At this point, I’m pretty sure I am biased—everything Sophie Sullivan touches, I love. I am usually not a closed-doors romance girlie, but for Sophie’s plots and flirtiness? I am. This book had me transported into the small town of Smile, it had me rooting for every single character, and it had me wishing for Presley to listen to her heart and stay.
“Love, Naturally” is for the girlies that loved The Influencer series by Amy Lea and who crave that small town vibes with all the quirkiness that small town romances and found family plot lines bring. I couldn’t recommend it enough.

Unfortunately this one was not for me and it just didn’t keep me fully engaged or invested. Thank you for the opportunity to read it!
Thank you Net Galley for releasing a copy of this book for me to review.
This is my first Sophie Sullivan and it won’t be my last.
Read this if you like: Opposites Attract, Forced Proximity, Found Family.
Presley plans a trip that was originally meant for her and her boyfriend, only to end up going solo after dumping him (he's a total jerk FYI). She's not a fan of the outdoors-camping, fishing, hiking, none of it is her thing-but the getaway turns into exactly what she needs.
She ends up at this adorable cabin resort run by Beck and his family, and let me tell you, it's impossible not to fall for them! The chemistry between Beck and Presley is off-the-charts! Plus the supporting characters- the other guests and the whole found-family vibe makes the story even sweeter.
What I loved most was Presley's journey of self-discovery. She went from hating all things outdoors (same, girl!) to actually finding a bit of fun in it. It's refreshing to see her embrace new experiences but also acknowledge that not everything is going to be her favorite-and that's perfectly okay.
If you're looking for a feel-good read with lovable characters and a cozy setting, this is definitely the book for you!
I loved this book. It was so sweet and cute. I loved that even tho the entire story takes place in a week, it feels like it was a month (in a good way). The characters were so loveable and I really saw myself in Presley. Everyone deserves a hot mountain man and Beckett Keller is the real deal. I loved how easy their love was. After only a week, I was rooting for them to be in love.
Cozy romance that kept me laughing the entire time I read it, Beckett was charming in his own way but the main character was entirely too relatable as someone who's not much of an outside girl
*I received an e-arc via Netgalley from the publisher for review. Thank you for the opportunity. All thoughts are my own*
I really enjoy Sophie Sullivan’s books, and this was a new one to add to the list! If you like opposites attract, found family and forced proximity tropes, I think you’ll enjoy this one as well.
Presley Ayers works for a hotel as an accomplished concierge. She’s used to helping others plan their trips and knows where to get the best of the best. Planning camping trips is not her usual forte, as she doesn’t like the outdoors, but she decides to surprise her boyfriend of eight months with a trip to Get Lost Lodge. He decides to dump her instead. Presley chooses to take the plunge and takes the trip by herself.
On the boat ride to the lodge, she meets Beckett Keller. He works at the lodge with his sister, niece and brother. The lodge is taking up a lot of his time and it needs a lot of work. Beck has also had to put his own dreams on hold to help his family. When he meets Presley, he thinks she made a mistake. She doesn’t like fishing, hiking or anything about the outdoors. Still, he and Presley feel an instant pull towards each other that they can’t explain.
Beck helps Presley to realize that trying new things and going out of your comfort zone once in a while can actually be fun.
As they spend time together, things heat up more between them. Will Presley have a happily ever after this time?
I definitely recommend this one to anyone who enjoys contemporary romance!
I am a big fan of Sophie Sullivan's writing, and what I appreciated the most about Love, Naturally is that it is more than a love story. It's a book about stepping outside of one's comfort zone. It's a book I'd recommend for anyone who enjoys a cozy romance that's filled with wit and character development.
Many thanks to the author, publisher, and NetGalley for sharing this book with me.
3.5 stars!
It is a cute contemporary romance that is slightly on the slower pace romance. I enjoyed the vibes of the book like the settings of it!
This was a quick, cute romance read. While I wasn't fully in love with either main characters (Presley and Beckett) I still enjoyed it enough. 3.5 stars.
This is super charming! Tropes include small town, fish out of water, forced proximity, opposites attract, and found family. I really liked how kind Presley and Beckett were to each other even when they were butting heads.
I started out with my eyes and switched to audio. I can’t fully decide if I liked the narration by Julie Rogers. At times I thought it was very good, but then it could occasionally slip into being a bit robotic.

I absolutely adore Sophie Sullivan’s books. As always, this was a cozy, closed-door romance. I loved the small town support system and thought Ollie was the perfect side-character. I’ve visited Mackinaw Island several times, so it was very easy for me to picture the island and I thought Sophie did an incredible job at representing the relaxed, loving, non-tropical island experience.
3.5 stars
Love, Naturally is a super cute and wholesome small town, fish-out-of-water romance. Presley is a hotel concierge who loves the big city who finds herself taking a trip to the wilderness, where activities like hiking and fishing are on the menu. She then meets a lovely guy named Beckett, with who she has an immediate connection. But can they be more in the short amount of time they have together?
I enjoyed this book. I found that their connection was believable and enjoyable to read about. They also had side plots in relation to their jobs that I liked well enough, more so when it comes to Beckett. The setting was also so well set it made me want to go and bike around Smile! The book is double pov which I find works best for romance, though the way it was written it was sometimes hard to tell which person we were supposed to be following (its in 3rd person). I found it more confusing towards the middle honestly, which also dragged on a bit for me. Like are you guys doing this or not? It could honestly get a bit childish at times like you guys are adults not teenagers.
If this ends up being a series I might check them out as well.
Thank you NetGalley and St. Martin’s Press for the eARC. All opinions are my own.
This book gives you all the warm fuzzy feelings that signify Fall and happy reading. Presley Ayers is a City Girl and she know knows it, but who also knows that a relationship means more than just what she knows she likes. In her attempt to bring more to their relationship, Presley plans a vacation to the Get Lost Lodge that will show how.much she is will to learn and share to her boyfriend. But what she finds is a great new world of romantic love, family and understanding. This well written romantic comedy that is perfect for any Lifetime movie fan. If snuggling up to watch a well plotted Netflix original is A great night in, this is a hit for you
Love Naturally is the first book in a new series by Sophie Sullivan. Presley Ayers is a concierge at an exclusive hotel in Great Falls, Michigan. She can tell you about champagne and caviar, but knows nothing about camping, fishing, hiking of nature. She will put up with it for her boyfriend, so surprises him with a vacation for two at the Get Lost Lodge near Lake Michigan. He tells her he wants to take a buddy, not her and promptly dumps her. Presley takes back her gift and decides to go alone. She is picked up at the dock by Beckett Keller, and it is obvious to him that she is in the wrong place. The lodge is crumbling, he's trying to rebuild it and doesn't have time to entertain or put up with who he refers to as "Ms. Fish-Out-of-Water". As much as they have not interest in getting involved with anyone, they can't ignore the pull they have toward one another. They say opposites attract.
This is a fun opposites attract rom-com. I liked Presley, especially that she was willing to step out of her comfort zone and try new things. I think if I had gotten sick on the boat ride over, I might have just hung out in my cabin/room and read my book, but not Presley. When she gives in to the sexual attraction they seem to have, it's just a ten day fling, then she'll be off home. Beckett is working hard to make a go of the lodge for his family, yet he can't ignore the attraction her has. I enjoyed meeting the secondary characters and hope they will get their own story in another book. The dialogue was great and the witty banter between the characters had me smiling. This is a story about family, finding your place, taking chances, and of course romance. I enjoyed the setting of Smile, Michigan and the Get Lost Lodge and would love to actually visit there. I listened to the audiobook narrated by Julie Rogers. She did a wonderful job bringing this story to life with her voices. Her pacing and tone were wonderful and I know listening to this one added to my enjoyment.
My heart 🥹
~What should have been a surprise fishing trip with her boyfriend, turned into a solo adventure of rediscovering herself. Add in a tight knit family who owns the lodge and a small town who knows everything about everyone.. it's about to be an interesting trip. Especially since the man she's been eyeing since the boat ride over keeps popping up.~
I freaking loved this so much! Beckett's niece, Ollie, is actually the cutest kid ever. I love how quickly she bonded with Presley. His whole family is so sweet and welcoming. Beckett and Presley's connection though.. 😍 I can't wait to read more of this family.
small town x forced proximity
Presley Ayers is a creature of comfort. She enjoys shopping for bargains and fine dining, but a desire to deepen her relationship with her boyfriend sees her planning a vacation at Get Lost Lodge that's all fishing, hiking, and nature. Except the boyfriend dumps her and she goes by herself to a place that is so out of her comfort zone it's not even in the same country. Beckett Keller loves nature and his family, so he's happy to help his brother and sister get the Get Lost Lodge up and running. It's pushing his own dreams and plans to the backburner and he's willing to suffer as long as it helps his family, but meeting Presley and seeing her do her best outside of her comfort zone is making him think that maybe being comfortable isn't all there is to life.
It's a fun and super predictable story that I enjoyed because I knew exactly what was going to happen at all times. There's no real pressure or drama to push the story, just sweetly romantic and endearing moments where not just Presley and Beckett get closer, but the Keller family and the visitors at the lodge all form connections. The lack of any serious situations beyond both leads being too proud and stubborn to recognize that they're perfect for each other and can easily adapt their lives to be together makes this an excellent comfort read. There are tiny details and backgrounds that ground it in reality and keep things from being way too saccharine, it's just an all-around perfect comfort romance.
Happy thanks to NetGalley and St. Martin's Griffin for the romantic read!
It’s a grand gesture when a boutique hotel concierge Pressley gifts her boyfriend of eight months with a 10-day vacation at a wilderness resort with hiking, fishing, sweat, and bugs… but when he thinks it’s too soon for their relationship to spend such a long time together, she promptly–smartly!–dumps him, and decides to solo the trip. The Get Lost Lodge is charming, but it’s financial position is precarious, and Pressley’s background is just what the struggling Keller siblings. She ends up working more than relaxing, all the while falling head over heels for #hotmountainman Beckett, who has his own dreams of owning a bicycle rental shop.
It was initially difficult for me to get into this story. Pressley presents as naive and came across as a bit two-dimensional. The immediate attraction was believable except that Pressley was ready to move in with her ex in spite of all the red flags. Everything beyond kissing is closed door. The writing is good and the whole piece is light and fluffy and sweet and predictable, while being authentic to influencer culture, with wonderful sensory details about the great outdoors. Rogers makes great choices for voicing each character distinctively, and keeps the story moving.
I received a free advance reviewer’s copy of #LoveNaturally from #NetGalley.
A broken-hearted city girl goes to the remote fishing/hiking resort alone, in spite of her jerk of an ex. What is not to love? This book was cute and the characters were easy to love. This had plenty of cozy vibes for your next weekend read!
Thank you to NetGalley and the publishers for providing me a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Sophie Sullivan always writes lovely romances, and this book is no exception. Watching Presley be willing to book the trip for her ex in the first place, and then deciding to go on the trip alone despite having next to no outdoor experience, inspires readers to be willing to explore new experiences. I enjoyed reading how Beckett also had to go out of his comfort zone to find someone who was a good fit for him - despite being nothing like he would have chosen for himself on his own.
