Love, Naturally is easy to love!
It has charming characters, a fun setting and a sweet story about finding yourself. Have we seen this story before, yes, but Sullivan really creates a great story with characters you'll swoon over,
Beckett is wonderful. I loved him. He's quintessential small town, good guy and I can't help but fall for him. Presley I liked too. She's a city girl whose an influencer and seems a bit lost in finding her purpose. I could understand both characters and I cheered for them.
The romance here is very sweet and romantic. It takes place over 10 days which made it insta-love but I didn't care about that. I felt the romance was cute and totally put a smile on my face. This is closed door so be aware of that before just in case you're looking for spice.
A great summery read with a charming small town and characters. Perfect beach or vacation read too. Especially if you're a fan of opposites attract.

Thank you @smpromance @macmillan.audio for my #gifted copies of Love, Naturally!
Love, Naturally was such a charming opposites attract/small town romance book and I loved it! I was so invested in Presley and Beckett and I felt like this book was just so well done from start to finish!
Presley is a concierge at an exclusive hotel in Michigan and is a city girl who loves high heels and fashion. As a surprise to her boyfriend, she plans a trip to The Get Lost Lodge. Instead of going on the trip together, they break up. Determined to go on a vacation, Presley decides to go to the Lodge by herself. There, she meets Beckett, who is focused on family and helping his brother run the Lodge, and doesnโt have time to help Presley while staying at the lodge. It doesnโt take long for the two opposites to start feeling a pull towards one another. Will the two step out of their comfort zone for love?
I just loved everything about this book and found myself smiling so much while reading! On top of loving Presley and Beckett, the side characters were amazing!

This was so sweet! It sort of had summer camp vibes. I loved the sweet love story between Beck and Presley, the whole family was so fun and the town was definitely Stars Hollow-esque, if Stars Hollow was set in the mountains on a lake! Seriously, this was a sweet, quick read. Great found family storyline, too!
The audiobook was so well done, the reader was great!
Thanks to Netgalley and the author and publisher for an advanced copy to read.
Thanks to NetGalley for the E-ARC. This book melted my black heart with every page I read. I loved loved loved the story of Presley and Beckett. I loved Beckett's family and their dynamic and lets just say it like it is Ollie stole the whole book. This book was so sweet and I just had a smile on my face the whole time which is rare and I really hope that we get to see Gary and Jill with their own stories because it would be life.
This is a cute instalove kind of vacation romance where the attraction is intense but the sex is closed door. It has all the humor of a city girl out in nature, but Presley is such a sunny helpful personality that she fits right in. The accidental capture of the rare hot mountain man sighting in her Instagram post adds comedy as Beckett becomes an unwilling thirst trap draw for more lodge bookings and also teasing from everyone he knows in the small town. And at the end they both realize that sometimes you have to give up what you thought you wanted for the dream of something even better.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advance copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
It was VERY hard for me to get into this book. Third person POV is really difficult for me. Once I did, I liked it a lot. Beck and Presley are sweet, despite being really insta-lovey. Overall, a cute read that I wish was first person POV.
A light, sweet love story centered around a small town, found family, and an undeniable instant connection. Iโm not a huge fan of the concept of insta-love and the short timeline of the story, but stranger things have happened. Loved all of the characters and thought it was such a cute book.
This is my favorite Sophie Sullivan book to date! Beckett and Presley are the best โopposites attractโ I have read in a long time. At this point, I cannot think of comprehensive sentences to describe this book because I feel like a bumbling giddiness of joy exploded inside me ๐ค๐
This book HAS to become a series, because the side characters and town of Smile are too fantastic to be contained in one book. Hint hint Greyson and then Jillyโs stories would be highly appreciated ๐
Dual POV
Opposites Attract
Closed door
Small town
Forced proximity
Instant love
It was a cute story but it wasn't something I was rushing home to pick up and read after work. Also closed door which isn't my preference.
Presley is dumped by her boyfriend and finds herself on the vacation she planned for him at the Get Lost Lodge. Recovering from the worst day of her life, she meets the brother of the owner, Beckett. Though the vacation is out of her comfort zone, she decides to experience all the outdoor activities she thought she would hate. She finds herself having a great time, and enjoying her time with Beckett. Both Presley and Beckett feel drawn to each other and they must decide if they are going to act on it.
This book is a little insta-lovey. Presley is only at the lodge for 10 days and their connection is quick and deep. Beckett and Presley seem to be looking out for each other, and even more Beckett helps Presley realize just how valuable she is. I liked how much both of them encouraged each other to reach for their dreams and ensure their happiness.
This was a quick and easy read and it was fun to get to know all the people at Get Lost Lodge. I'm hoping we get love stories for Beckett's siblings!
This was a quick, light read and I found myself enjoying it so much. If you love quirky and opposites attract, this would be the book for you! Thank you to NetGalley and St. Martin's Press for a copy of this book. All opinions are 100% mine.
Presley planned on surprising her boyfriend with an outdoorsy camping trip at the Get Lost Lodge for his birthday. Plans took a turn when he wanted to take a friend on the trip instead of her. They broke up and Presley decided to take the trip solo.
To get to the lodge you need to take a ferry. The ferry was not a fun experience for Presley. Beckett notices her on the boat and helps her. Beckett and his family own the Get Lost Lodge. They are trying hard to renovate it to attract more visitors.
Presley enters her hotel room to find that it is freezing, Beckett lets her sleep at his place. I loved the instant connection I felt they both had. I love how devoted Beckett was to his family and the lodge. It made me so happy to see Presley help him.
I loved that Presley took a chance and tried activities that she normally never would have. I was so glad she decided to go solo on the trip.
This is a cute closed door romance told between dual POVs between Beckett and Presley. I loved that we got both sides of the story.

Thank you NetGalley and publisher for this ARC publication for an honest review.
This book was utterly charming! Our main couple, the supportive family and friends, the quaint town with the quirky neighbors, the cute kid, the scenery...just the perfect comfy, quick read for a cold winter day. I adored Presley and Beckett, and even though their relationship was on warp speed it still felt organic and utterly sigh worthy. Even though we had "city girl" and "(hot) mountain man" the two never tried to change the other. They just fit so sweetly together. I wonder if another character will get a book! A lot of possibilities...
4 stars
This is a lighthearted rom-com about Presley, who tried to surprise her boyfriend with a trip she thought he would like - a 10-day-long wilderness-type adventure - only for them to break up. Presley still goes on the trip even though she's totally not an outdoor girly. This made me laugh because it's basically how I would feel but she's such a trooper for still putting herself out there. She meets Beckett, the brother of the owner, and all sorts of romance ensues.
Come for the:
- Big girl outside of her element
- Small town vibes with a cast of characters (total Hallmark vibes)
- Love at first sight
- Forced proximity
- โFakeโ dating
Ultimately, the central conflict in the story wasnโt strong enough to provide the drama. But the sweet ending at least sees all the characters winning in their ways.
Thank you to NetGalley and St. Martin's Press for providing me with an arc of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Love, Naturally is a fun, up lifting romance. Presley Ayers is taken out of her element and dropped off on an island for a lot of nature fun. It's all her boyfriend's fault. She was trying to do something nice by surprising him with a vacation. It backfired. Thank goodness for karma.
Presley arrives as a single at Get Lost Lodge at the perfect time. She is their white knight landing at the dock after a rough boat ride. Grayson got the lodge in a divorce settlement. The only problem is it is falling apart all around him. His brother, Beckett, and sister, Jill, are more than happy to make it a success. Unfortunately, they are in over their heads.
The family dynamics fill the pages making so jealous for such a lovely family. Ollie, Jill's daughter, is a total hoot. The family has a way of bringing guests together. Is it wrong that I am jealous that I haven't found such a place. They bring new meaning to customer service by treating lodgers like family.
Presley is out of her element. You can take the girl out of the city, but..... Thank goodness for Beckett. There was some type of connection during the boat ride over. They just click. He loves the great outdoors. She, not so much. I had a lot of laughs at Presley's expense. I tried not to laugh. I failed. The slow-build romance between Presley and Beckett kept me reading way past my bedtime waiting for their bed time.
Adding to the enjoyment of the story is the town of Smile. If you like small town romances with the town busybodies you won't want to miss out on Love, Naturally. There is so much small town drama riddling the pages. The citizens definitely have a uniqueness. The businesses left me shaking my head.
Presley is on vacation. Vacations don't last forever. What happens at Get Lost Lodge stays at Get Lost Lodge. That might work if she stays off of social media. She used her marketing skills to help the lodge. She used her influencer skills to help the lodge. The lodge and Beckett are all over her accounts. Who will help Presley and her broken heart? After all Beckett stayed at Get Lost Lodge.
iโm submitting the reviews for books by you that I already have, but I will never request another one. In October one of your employees made a horribly racist statement and you have chosen to do nothing about it. People have continuously asked you to say that you donโt stand with what the employee said, and you refuse to. This is not someone who I want to promote ever because you are sending the wrong message. These reviews will not be posted on social media because you donโt deserve the promotion. By not speaking out you are also not preventing your followers from stalking and harassing people who are participating in the boycott. Your silence speaks volumes. I hope that all of your authors move to other publishers because you are standing with a genocide. This book was really good. Too bad I can never talk about it because you are a horrible company.
Oh I love Sophie Sullivan!! This book was simply adorable and her writing is some great with sweet lines and fun banter. I thought the overall story was unique and the characters felt relatable. I enjoyed watching their relationship develop. I can't wait for her next book.
Presley Ayers has had a series of disappointments: disappointment in not being where she wants in her career, disappointment in the boyfriend she finally dumped, and disappointment in going on this surprise birthday fishing trip alone when she had planned it for her and her boyfriend. After a bumpy ferry ride, lodging renovations, and a freezing room, can she find anything to warm her heart?
Enter Beckett, who is also on this trip to help out his siblings who have unexpectedly taken on this formerly abandoned fishing lodge. What he also doesn't expect is the attraction to Presley and the bond he develops with the other guests.
Unfortunately, this book fell flat for me. I finished the book in the hopes that there would be some movement, conflict, or some surprise somewhere in the ending. However, I was disappointed. There weren't any surprises in the plot and instead it felt (to me) like a bland storyline without any memorable conflict. Also, I struggled to find any passion in the sudden romance between Presley and Beckett. I think this is because it felt very technical as far as the description of their dialogues and interactions. There is a lot of focus on who is looking down or up and where the characters' arms and legs are positioned rather than the intimacy of the conversations and kisses. For readers who prefer clean romances, this may be the book for you as there is mostly kisses in greeting and the passion is distracted by the many projects each character has to take on to get the lodge in order or to accommodate guest requests.
I also found issue with the social media aspect of the storyline. Presley has a social media presence that gets Beckett a lot of attention for his abs and she gains a following for the lodge because of it. It also is used as a reconciliation tactic later in the plot which reminded me of part of the plot of B.K. Borison's book In The Weeds. The main issue I have with it is how repetitive it gets in referring to Beckett as "hot mountain man". It is overdone and it didn't make sense to me as it is not very clear if they are even in the mountains but at a lake.
Thanks to NetGalley and St. Martin's Griffin for the ARC! I am leaving this review honestly and voluntarily.
I guess its a cute read something light but I had a hard time actually getting into it. I enjoyed reading most of it while at the airport waiting for a flight, but I don't think I would be recommending it to a friend anytime soon. 3/5
Such a great book! Hurt by her ex Presley goes off on an outdoor adventure on her own. She tries new things, learns about herself, and finds the promises of new love, but is it enough? Such a fast paced easy read that drew me in, I was finished in less than 24 hours. Loved all the characters and the story line. I hope Sophie Sullivan comes out with a series that lets the reader know what happens with the entire family. A great romance with just the right amount of spice.
This was a sweet small town romance. Presley ends up vacationing alone after breaking up with her boyfriend and not taking him on the trip she planned for him. It ended up being everything she needed instead. Iโm not generally a fan of instalove but she and Beckett were quickly drawn together and I really liked them together. I was secretly rooting for Presley to want to move to Beckettโs town/family resort and share her skills with them instead of her ungrateful boss. I really enjoyed Ollie and Beckettโs whole family. I really enjoyed the narration but wouldโve loved a male narrator for Beckettโs chapters. Overall this was an enjoyable read from Sophie Sullivan and Iโll continue to look forward to more books from Sullivan.
