I really enjoyed the dual point of view in Love, Naturally. It was wonderful to be in both character’ heads as they both have distinct personalities that were quite enjoyable. I was so happy to root for this couple! I also really appreciated that it was more of a closed door romance. It fit the story well and didn’t need extra spice to be romantic.

Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.

This book was SO delightful and charming!! It reminded me of a Hallmark movie with the plot but didn't bore me like those movies do.

Presley is a city girl who works as a hotel concierge. She loves her job and is very good at it. She books a surprise trip for her and her boyfriend to take. When her boyfriend is a total douche she breaks up with him and takes the trip alone. It's completely out of character for her and challenges all her long-held notions about what she likes and who she really is.

Beckett, along with his brother and sister, work the lodge and all the events it offers. It's not Beckett's dream but he'd do anything for his family. When Presley arrives, like a fish out of water, he falls hard and fast, as does she. They quickly become a "fake" couple due to an Instagram post. What starts as fake turns into more, even though she's a guest on a limited timetable.

Beckett's family is the dream family. They all have each other's back and welcome Presley with open arms and open hearts. It's lovely.

I think there's lots of potential for spin-off books to see where Gray and Jilly each go romantically.

I smiled so much reading this book. The idea of finding yourself and your chosen in the most unlikely of places is amazing and I'm a better person for reading this book. I highly recommend it.

A sweet & sentimental visit to one of my favorite places on the planet - northern Michigan. Sophie Sullivan has the unique ability to get you in your feels + truly root for the couple in the story. A good bit of insta-love here, but it’s hard to disagree with the genuine joy this book portrays.

Thanks to the NetGalley and publishing teams for the ARC!

I loved this book! I devoured it in only a few sittings and wish there was more to read. The story line was paced very well and the characters were easy to love!

Thoughts:
This story is a dual POV about these opposites attracted to one another. It reads like an insta love story with lots of cute and wholesome found family moments of a small town and tight knit family. If you are a fan of Hallmark movies, then read this!! I found it to be a cute, cozy, and fluffy read, best for an escapist mood. I loved little Ollie, and honestly all the characters. Not much real conflict or pay off for the chemistry so a solid 4 for me. But sometimes that's nice to have a simple and lovely story.

Spice:
Lots of chemistry but it is a closed door romance.

Summary:
Presley Ayers is a hard-working hotel concierge. She wants to show her boyfriend they are ready to move to the next level of their relationship by taking him on a surprise vacation to the Get Lost Lodge, filled with lots out outdoor activities, despite how much she feels like a fish out of water in the great outdoors. But instead of gratitude and excitement he asks to take a friend instead of her and tells her he doesn't see them moving to the next level of their relationship, so Presley decides to break up with him and take the trip solo.

Beckett Keller, brother to the owner of the crumbling lodge, is a loyal family man. He helps out his brother and sister with repairing the Lodge and finds himself pulled apart by his career plans and his growing attraction for Presley.

This is a sweet small-town romance book set in the outdoors. Very Hallmark.
Presley has chosen to take an outdoorsy vacation she initially booked for her and her ex-boyfriend to take together. There she meets the MMC, Beckett, whose family recently took over a small lodge. I did enjoy the characters, especially the MMC’s niece Ollie.
However, I just don’t think this book was for me. This is not to say it was badly written – but at parts, the storyline began to feel extremely repetitive despite the story taking place over a very short timeline. I have liked Sullivan’s other books, and this just felt like it dragged. But it was a nice palette cleanser.
Thank you to NetGalley and St. Martin's Press for providing me with an e-arc of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I loved LOVE, NATURALLY! Are outdoors romance the new trend? I hope so, as I'm discovering a few that are just right up my alley and I am loving them. Sullivan's latest novel is just the latest.

As the blurb says, this is escapist romance at its funniest. There was a movie-esque quality to the book, it was engaging, fast paced and with enough romance that even though it bordered on love at first sight, I was still invest in Presley and Beckett's relationship.

Definitely one worthy of a binge read!

A young woman surprises her boyfriend of 8 months with a fishing week trip but he tells her he's not ready for that, so she goes by herself. She is a city girl who works as a concierge in a hotel, and not accustomed to roughing it, so it's a surprise for herself.

I really enjoyed this opposites attract, fake dating, dual POV, vacation romance that sees Presley, a recently dumped influencer going to a stay in a run down cabin that's owned jointly by a big-hearted family.

While there she meets and eventually falls for the recently returned brother Beckett who is struggling to figure out what he wants to do with his life. He's happy to help his siblings but isn't sure he wants to move home for good. With all her social media savvy and thrifting skills, Presley is able to help everyone makeover the resort and worms her way into everyone's heart.

Assuming their lives are too different to make anything real work, Beckett lets Presley go back home only to regret it instantly and show up with an epic grand gesture for one of my fav endings ever! Great on audio narrated by Julie Rogers, this is definitely my new favorite from Sophie Sullivan!

Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for an early digital copy in exchange for my honest review!

3.5 ⭐️ very cute. Light hearted, and easy to read. This was a good time :)

Presley was such a fun FMC. I could relate to her on so many levels and I appreciate that in my romance novels. I especially love how she was over 30! When the story wrapped up though, I felt like there were a couple loose ends in her life that we didn’t see get resolved or tied up neatly.

No complaints about our MMC Beckett and his adorable family. He belonged in the setting of the book and just oozed all around good guy vibes. All his family and everyone else in Smile were great side characters and I can see myself reading any spin-offs that might develop.

Now. The fade-to-black 😒 does not make sense to me. There is so much sexual tension written in the first 50%of the story, and then we get no satisfaction when things get good 😩. I get closed door romance when the story and the writing calls for it. But when an author writes such great tension and chemistry, then leaves us hanging… ugh…

Anyways, super cute story. I’ll definitely be recommending this to some of my friends.

his was such a feel-good read for me and I really enjoyed it. We have a great cast of side characters and get some quirky small town antics. Presley and Beckett were great characters and Sullivan does a fantastic job of really giving the reader a good sense of their character right away. I'm not the biggest fan of insta-love stories but I could believe Presley and Beckett had that much of a connection. We get enough scenes of them talking about their big hopes, dreams, and personal histories that I could feel their connection was more real than some other insta-love situations. I did want a little more friction in the narrative. They just fell together so easily and then everything worked out perfectly for them and the other characters. It left me feeling like it was all a little ~too~ perfect and I wanted just a little more of a struggle to get to those good outcomes. I'd love if we get Beckett's siblings in future books.

This was a cute romance, small town and feel good if you’re looking for that! I’ve read a few other from Sophie and i’ve always enjoyed how she writes. I feel connected to the characters and they’re easy reads. Very much enjoyed this

I loved this book. It may be my favorite Sophie Sullivan yet. I love an opposites attract and I really loved the family in this book. The heroes closeness to them and the heroines longing for a similar unit. It really added something to it. I also think this is easily Sullivan’s steamiest book and she does incredibly well with it. This book made me want to go to a quaint inn on an island and ride ferry’s and hopefully meet hot mountain men. 8.5/10

I received a DIGITAL Advance Reader Copy of this book from #NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

This book was adorable. The cast of characters was fantastic and I wouldn't mind coming back to them again for another book. Beckett and Presley were great together and had really good chemistry. I also really like the fact that Presley wasn't completely stuck up as it might portray in the summary. She's just a city girl who is not used to hiking, fishing, etc. I think I would have disliked her otherwise.

I'm also really happy I gave this book a chance because I had read another book by this author and wasn't thrilled by it but I absolutely loved this one. I would definitely try another one by this author again.

I went into this book a bit skeptical, as being a city-person myself, I find it hard to believe that someone used to city life could easily adapt to the great outdoors and survive being away from all amenities. Glad to say that I exaggerated the whole thing in my head.
Presley and Beckett were clearly meant to be. I loved their story, and how Presley naturally fit into this life, while not changing anything about herself and actually contributing so much of herself. I loved how the author wrote both the main characters - them being city vs nature, having different hobbies, but still loving each other for who they are, and championing each other.
A whole lot of wholesome.

This is my first Sophie Sullivan book, and I plan to read more from her.

Love, Naturally snuck into my heart. There were a couple times I thought I might just DNF it but I kept going and I'm so glad I did. Presley did annoy me more than once but that's just part of her character. Beckett has a wonderful family that is so easy to love. The precocious niece was dynamite for this story. I rolled my eyes a bit at first but ended up loving the isolated island inn setting and the way Presley and Beckett connected. I'm surprised, but I'll admit that I loved it!

The overall vibe of this book reminded me a lot of It Happened One Summer and every Tom com I’ve ver read. It just didn’t really stand out to me!

Love, Naturally by Sophie Sullivan is a sweet opposites attraction story. I liked the city girl, Presley Ayers as well as mountain man, Beckett Keller. As with all opposites attractions they still had the same values just liked different things. Presley wasn’t an outdoors kind of person but planned the trip but she ends up going alone. Beckett is working to help family get a lodge off the ground and running. Together these two end up working on that aspect. See what I mean about the same values.

An instant attraction story though it could be said Presley don’t be on the rebound. Still a charming, closed-door romance with charming characters as only Sophia Sullivan can write. It is to be released in January, so at a time that we are ready for brighter weather which this read delivers.

An ARC of the book was provided by the publisher through NetGalley which I voluntarily chose to read and review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
