This book is so charming! It was silly, ridiculous, and so romantic. The setting was beautiful, the plot was so cute, and the characters seemed like my friends! The insta-love worked so well in this.
Presley and Beckett are so adorable and I really enjoyed their banter, so cute! It was easy for me to picture the cabins, lake, and town where the story takes place. It makes me want to go and “Get Lost” as Presley would say.
I highly highly recommend this book!!
I am definitely going to be rereading this next summer!

Thank you to NetGalley and St. Martin's Press for the ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review!
I loved this book, so so much! What a fantastic fun romance! Now I will say it was very insta-lovey, but it didn't come across as insta-love. Rather we were swept up in a whirl-wind romance! It was a blast to follow along on the adventures Presley and Beckett got up to, and it was interesting to see both sides as the story unfolded. Even more, the side characters were so much fun to spend time with! I fell in love with Ollie and Jilly. Though I wish we got to see more of Rylee. I also really appreciate the representation of LGBTQ+, I don't often see that in "straight" books.
The only, and I mean ONLY, thing that bugged me (and its so small) is that they mentioned playing Mario Kart on an Xbox... as a gamer, it really bugged me. But again, the literal smallest thing, like literally one line.
Rating: 5/5 stars - Highly Recommend! Available January 16th, 2024 (1/16/2024)

"It means I love you, Presley Ayers. I love you in a way I didn't know was possible. Definitely not after a week. I don't care if you don't like the outdoors, if you never want to fish, if you want to stay here in the city or move to California. Wherever you are is where I need to be."
-opposites attract, small town romance, insta love
-Presley (31) is the last person you would catch in the great outdoors, there she meets Beckett (30), whose family owns Get Lost Lodge
-such an easy, fun and wholesome read! Really enjoyed Presley and Beckett’s connection
-thank you to NetGalley and St. Martin’s Press for this ARC ❤️
4.3⭐️
This book was such a fun read for me it was so hard to put down. This book is great for when you just need a breath of fresh air.
The banter between Presley and Beck is fantastic and they did actually have me laughing out loud. I loved that it wasn’t just the main characters I loved but the secondary characters as well. I’m not sure how to call them secondary though because they brought so much to the story.
I love the the family/found family aspect and how amazing the whole community is in this book.
I highly recommend this if you’re looking to #GetLost in a great book.
I also would like the thank NetGalley and the publish for the ARC for an honest review.
3.5 ⭐️ this was like a vanilla ice cream cone on a summer day.
I loved the premise and setting, the outdoors, fishing, hiking, lodge on an island, cute little town on the water. My kind of vacation.
Beckett: hot mountain man, reminded me of my husband, loved him.
Presley: I felt like I wanted more of, city girl with a social media presence and liked shopping, very people pleasing.
I think what didn’t work for me was the third person. It was Dual POV which I love!! But quite often I was confused who’s perspective I was in, and it took me longer to read this than normal.
It was also a closed door romance, we got the illusions things occurred, which I didn’t mind sometimes I need a good wholesome palette cleanser.
I’d read more books this author puts out.
Love, Naturally was like a big warm hug that I wanted to savor for just a second longer. I loved this book.
The author wrote such relatable characters that they ended up feeling like family and I was not ready to leave their world. I want to be friends with these characters and get to know every single one of them even more (well maybe all but Emmett). I want to live in their town, ride bikes, sing karaoke at Bro’s Pub 🎤, eat at Pete’s, and stay at Get Lost Lodge.
I really would love to read Jilly and Grayson’s stories as well so 🤞🏻for a series because I am not over Get Lost Lodge.
Thank you NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.
Sophie’s characters are always some of my favorites and the small-town island setting was perfect!
In an attempt to strengthen their relationship, Presley Ayers books a getaway for herself and her boyfriend to the Get Lost Lodge, but Emmett breaks up with her instead. Presley decides to take the trip solo even though she is not a big fan of the great outdoors.
To Beckett Keller, family comes first. That’s why he’s put aside his dream of opening a bike rental business to help his brother run the Get Lost Lodge.
I loved how well Presley and Beckett worked together as a couple. In this case it’s true what they say - opposites attract. Beckett is as outdoorsy as they come avoids social media like the plague while Presley is a city girl, social media influencer. With Presley’s high follower count, the lodge begins to get more and more attention which leads to more bookings and, in turn, more money to renovate the lodge.
This was a closed-doors romance, so I wouldn’t recommend this to someone looking for a steamy read, but please read this anyway!
Thank you NetGalley and St. Martin’s Press for providing me with an eARC in exchange for an honest review!
I really cute and light romance read! Quite cheesy at most times but it was just what I needed to get out of my reading slump. The world the author paints in this story is absolutely adorable and I would love to go there.
3.5 Stars ⭐!
Love, naturally is a gem. The story’s MCs are so relatable and enjoyable that you want all of the good things to happen for them. The main girl in our story is Presley who is a kind, selfless, hardworking hotel manager wannabe. One bad situation has her realizing she needs to take time away from the hustle and bustle of her life and head to the one place she never thought of going, the woods. Here we meet the amazing Keller family who capture your heart as a reader. Each one of these family members adds to Presleys story. The love story that we venture one with Beckett and Presley gives all the feels. You hear from both characters in some of the chapters which gives a nice perspective to the feelings that are emerging. When I say wow I wish everyone can find themselves a Beckett I mean it. He easily has a spot on my book boyfriend list. Not going to lie I was holding my breath towards the end of the story because some loose ends start to fray but I was pleasantly content with how things ended. Read this story!!!! Seriously, you’ll smile to yourself, giggle, have heart palpitations but it’s all worth it!
Presley decides to do something kind for her boyfriend by booking a trip to an outdoorsy resort for the two of them. When he’s less than enthusiastic, she decides to go alone. It doesn’t matter that she doesn’t enjoy boating, fishing, hiking, or biking- she feels like she should make the best of a new experience. When she meets Beckett, they connect instantly even though they couldn’t be more opposite. Both of them are outside of their comfort zones, but often the best things in life are the unexpected surprises.
I have enjoyed Sophie Sullivan’s other rom coms, but I think this is my favorite of her books yet! Presley is such a likable character and Beckett is the sweetest of cinnamon roll main characters. This book gives (less spicy) vibes of It Happened One Summer by Tessa Bailey. There are also some fun tropes present in this one- insta-love, opposites attract, forced proximity, quirky small town, and found family. I really enjoyed how different the two characters were but how much they embraced one another for those differences. I’d recommend this to lovers of sweet, closed door romantic comedies.
Thank you to Sophie Sullivan, St. Martin’s Press, and Netgalley for the arc in exchange for my honest review.
I loved reading this. It's such a wholesome, modern day romance. I'm usually a reader that loves some spice, but I didn't find myself missing it here. It was easy to connect with the characters, and overall I just really enjoyed it. Only one thing that seems disconnected was that her ex supposedly lost out of the job to market "Get Lost," but then later on the characters emphasize how they are low on funds and the family is doing it themselves. So that felt like a bit of a disconnect. But overall that didn't take away from my experience with the book.
This book was a very sweet, fun romance. It was very refreshing to read a romcom that wasn’t full of unnecessary drama. I really enjoyed all the characters and the relationship between Presley and Beckett. It felt very believable even though it was essentially insta love.
Everything about Smile and the Get Lost Lodge made me wish it was a place I could go in real life. Sullivan did an amazing job of completely immersing the reader in the story.
If you’re looking for a laugh out loud, closed door romance, you need to check this book out!
Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for the ARC to review!
This was a fun little romance! I loved the details about our characters and their lives, it was well fleshed out. I also loved the storyline and the easy going writing style.
This read sets us up for another great three book set from Sophie Sullivan, and it is off to a great start.
Presley is a character that I think many readers will be able to see a little bit of themselves in. She is a focused, driven people pleaser both in her work and in her relationship. Because of this, she is being taken advantage of in both situations. When her boyfriend laughs off the perfectly curated birthday trip she had planned for them to an island lodge filled with hiking, biking, fishing, and more, she decides to grasp new experiences and go by herself.
Bennett is one of three siblings working hard to achieve success for Get Lost, a newly-opened, rustic lodge in northern Michigan. One day with Presley at the resort and he’s now known as “hot mountain man” to her thousands of instagram followers and the groups of woman calling to book rooms.
As the two spend more time together at the resort, Presley and Bennett find that their differences complement each other and that their strengths might just make them MTB.
This is another fabulous read from Sophie Sullivan, and I’m truly hoping that this becomes another sibilant set of books! Thanks to NetGalley for the digital review copy.
This book had promise. The characters were extremely dull. Presley is some kind of love idiot. She dumps Emmett, thankfully, then we meet Beck like 4 hours later and she's totally infatuated. Beck, who is the most hottest social media dude who coincidentally has zero love interests in his life falls instantly in lust with Presley. Wtf. The island they are on is grossly fictionalized. The ability to have wifi, plumbing, running water, AND electricity is mind blowing on the island and nearly impossible. Plus its Mackinac, not Mackinaw. This book has potential, but not how it is.
Sophie Sullivan has written several other romance books that I really enjoyed, so I was very excited to see that she has a new book coming out! "Love, Naturally" centers on Presley, whose life is a bit of a mess. Her boss doesn't appreciate her potential and her boyfriend is a selfish jerk. For his birthday, she buys him a getaway trip full of activities he will enjoy: hiking, fishing, and camping. When he shows his true colors upon receiving this gift, Presley realizes their relationship is going nowhere and promptly dumps him. Since she's already gotten the time off work and needs a chance to lick her wounds, she decides to go no the trip herself. What she hasn't planned on is meeting Beckett, a member of the family who owns the resort, and realizing just how good life can be when someone recognizes her true worth.
I really enjoyed reading about Presley trying out these outdoor pursuits she never thought she would enjoy, and the romance between Presley and Beckett was sweet yet spicy at the same time. I really enjoyed this book and found myself rooting for all the characters (even the side characters!) and hope to see them again in another novel. Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC. All opinions are my own.
Another Sophie Sullivan book… another ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ review.
Loved this book with its city girl/hot mountain man storyline. Presley and Beckett were adorable together and the side characters were amazing, as always. Makes me hope this is the start of a new series.
Thanks to NetGalley for this ARC in exchange for my honest review. Watch for Love Naturally to come out January 16, 2024!
I absolutely loved this opposites attract Rom-Com. This was absolutely adorable and I loved every bit of it! This was just the book I needed for a Rom-Com.
I just reviewed Love, Naturally by Sophie Sullivan. #NetGalley

I loved how it had both funny, relatable and charming characters along with the entertaining plot. I so loved and enjoyed it.
Presley, an associate concierge at a boutique hotel, plans a romantic getaway at a fishing lodge for herself and her boyfriend Emmett. Rylee, her best friend, is slightly concerned because Presley always gives more than her partner in relationships. Things go as well as expected, and Presley takes the vacation herself. There, she meets the absolute delight of family — the Kellers. Grayson newly owns the Get Lost Lodge and is joined by his brother Beckett, sister Jill, and niece Ollie.
The Get Lost Lodge desperately needs help from someone with experience running a hotel. Is Presley the person for the job?
I knew right away that I was going to adore Beckett. He loves his family, is trying to figure out his next steps in life, and was genuinely a good human. Same with Presley. These two main characters are impossible not to love.
Somehow, I like each new release of Sophie Sullivan’s more than the last … I didn’t think Just Friends could be beat. (If you haven’t read the Jansen brothers trilogy, I highly recommend those while waiting for the release of Love, Naturally.) This book has the quintessential quirky, charming, small town that we book readers all love. This is just a hug in a book. The main characters are one you can’t help but root for. They are kind, smart, and thoroughly lovable. The secondary characters including the rest of the Kellars, the folks in town, and the guests at the lodge, add so much to the mix. I really do wish Smile existed in the real world, if it did, wild horses couldn’t stop me from visiting. So, do the next best thing and visit through reading this gem of a book.
Thanks to NetGalley and St. Martin's Press for an arc of this book which I voluntarily read and reviewed. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
