Some great patterns, I have a few of these that I would love to make as presents. There are some great descriptions and really detailed pictures so you can see what each piece is supposed to look like.
A lovely book with clear instructions and vivid inviting pictures. Easy to follow patterns and would be good for anyone from beginners to more advanced crocheters. Lots of choice of patterns too. Would recommend it to anyone
I fell in love with the crocheting world back in 2012 when I moved away from home into a new town in the state. I have since them fallen in love with making more crochet cuteness to share with my friends and family. This book was just what I was searching for and I am excited that it will be out soon. I have to say that the patterns were super easy to read and create cute things to share. I will most likely be purchasing this book when it comes out to add to my pattern collection that I have.
First I love to crochet and this book has some cute patterns. The book has the basics for a crochet - so it's nice for beginners.
The patterns are so easy and cute. I can't wait to make them.
This is a great book for people starting out with crochet; the explanations of the stitches were very clear with photographs to help (I’m a more experienced crocheter, so I was more interested in the patterns). As with the stitches, the patterns’ instructions were very clear and easy to follow. I couldn’t find whether the terminology was US or UK, which is important for beginners (it is written using US terms). I won’t be using these patterns myself as they are a little to basic, but I would recommend them for someone starting out.
I received a copy of this eBook from Net Galley for an honest review.
I just love these roly-poly animals! So cute and they look easy to make. I like that the author gives embellishment ideas for the projects as well as multiple ways to do the eyes.
Really clear instructions with very clear illustrations to show how to do the basics. The actual items to crochet are very cute and would make great gifts. I think this book would suit someone who is more experienced with crochet.
This book has some really lovely-looking patterns in. It has nice clear photos and diagrams, beginners should be able to follow them well.
I haven't tried to make any of the patterns, but they read very sensibly and I can't see any reason they'd not work!
I received an advance copy for free from NetGalley, on the expectation that I would provide an honest review.
Excuse me??? This is a book? Like all of these cute animals and the step by step. Thank god I have early access. Will be purchasing
12 patterns for adorable jumbo size amigurumi animals using super bulky yarn. Tools and materials, crochet basics, and tips and tricks are all organized with accompanying photos making the instructions clear. Don't want a jumbo size? The author explains how to crochet with different yarn weights for smaller animals. Each pattern comes with a charming illustration. I especially like the llama! I would put these patterns at an advanced beginner level.
Cute & Cuddly Crochet is a wonderful crocheting guide book. It has pictures and easy to follow directions. The crocheted animals are so cute! They will be fun to try! #Cute&cuddly crochet. #NetGalley #QuartoPublishingGroup
This is. Great book if you’re interested in crocheting animals. There is step by step directions and pictures to go along with them as well. I’m looking forward to trying the octopus!
I really like this book of patterns. The animals are cute and the directions are very easy to follow. I also really love the step by step directions in the front for beginner fiber artists. Overall I look forward to making many more amigurumi projects from this book.
I love this book. A great selection of animals and I'm looking forward to creating them as gifts. The instructions are easy to follow, with plenty of guidance for the less experienced crocheter and the illustrations are colourful and inviting. Thanks to Netgalley for the advavance copy.
Wonderful instructions with lots of great explanatory information.. One thing I especially appreciated was the author included instructions on how to do an increase and keep the project round. I don't think I've ever seen that printed before and it's a super simple solution that every crocheter should learn. These patterns are adorable and also include things like different ways to add eyes and other fun embellishments that make the results especially cute.
I am an avid crocheter and often make several plushes for my kiddo. This book has many cute projects and are easy to follow. I like the drawings in the beginning of the book to show how to start stitches and what they should look like. Very helpful for beginners. I would definitely buy this book!
A fun amigurumi book for all stages of crocheters. The book has a clear and appealing layout, with cute cartoon images of the 12 amigurumi pieces on the contents page. The animals are also an interesting range, such as a red panda, platypus and llama.
The pattern instructions are written very clearly, with pictures to assist and it has the clearest instructions for closing pieces I have come across, as well as assembling the pieces with numbered photos to help with this. I have struggled with assembly in the past with limited information on this stage with patterns, so it was an area I was delighted by the clarity with these instructions.
It has lots of helpful information on the equipment needed and more helpful items, such as a bent tip darning needle and the different possible eyes and embellishments to make your own unique personalised plushie. I started crocheting 6 months ago and I have read quite a few crochet books, but I still learned new terminology and tips from this book. It clearly demonstrates the difference between yarn over and yarn under and how you would use this for an x stitch. As well as joining a round and how to make rounder circles to name a few.
The patterns are easy to follow but most of these animals are… not cute, nor cuddly. I wouldn’t recommend this book.
Okay for beginners, with nicely laid out patterns and stitch descriptions. I just didn't care for any of the "cute" creations. They all kind of looked like variations on a potato minus the flamingo and octopus.
A wonderful book for fiber artists of all levels and ages. I really enjoyed reading this and feel a little less nervous about trying things that are unfamiliar to me with my yarn
