This is an essential for anyone navigating the digital landscape of social media, e-commerce or building a brand. Easy to understand and implement. Would recommend to those just starting their journeys in seo.
Honest SEO was a book that I found very valuable. It assumes no prior knowledge of SEO and is designed to take you from zero to a pretty effective draw for your website. It's straightforward, well-written, and approachable.
One comment: There are a lot of graphics that I'm sure are attractive in the print version of the book but don't add anything to the e-book beyond taking up space. It was a minor annoyance while reading and may be gone upon publication.
As a new marketer, this book was extremely helpful. I have so much great information that I took from reading this and can now implement into our business ✨
This is the introduction to SEO that I have been looking for. It is highly readable and covers all the basics you need to know. Whether you are a small or mid-size business, there is a lot to discover in this book about Search Engine Optimization. It has many practical suggestions for implementing a winning SEO strategy.
As a website developer for a small business, I made lists of points I needed to follow up on. Jason presents all this information in an easy-to-follow manner for those unfamiliar with SEO. He lists several essential tools, both free and paid. He covers many Google tools, some of which were new to me. Whether you intend to tackle SEO on your own or hire a company to do it for you, this book should be in your arsenal. I know it will be one I refer to again and again.
Thanks to Greenleaf Book Group for access to a digital ARC on NetGalley.
Honest SEO is a comprehensive and reliable guide to SEO that can help you achieve your digital marketing goals. It's well-written and easy to understand, even if you don't have a technical background. The author shares the strategies he's used for his clients, and he does it in a way that's both informative and entertaining. If you're serious about improving your website's ranking in search engines, this book would be a good place to start.
So much useful info and advice here! I own a small petcare company and SEO on Google is non-negotiable for driving potential clients to my website. I’ve been mostly fumbling in the dark, trying to make sense of cryptic or far too technical advice, but finding this book is already proving a lifesaver. I’m thrilled to be working on implementing the many useful tips found within these pages.
Thank you Jason Hennessy, Greenleaf Book Group, and NetGalley for providing this ARC for review consideration. All opinions expressed are my own.
A very useful how-to guide for anyone who runs a website.
Whether you like it or not, your online popularity depends on Google - if you know how to be attractive to its algorithms, you have a chance of growing an audience. But Google doesn't reveal how it works. That's why SEO, or Search Engine Optimisation, was born. Trying to reverse-engineer the algorithms has an alchemistic feel to it - but after more than 20 years of existence, it has also created a body of verified methods.
This book is written in a very accessible way, so it can be recommended to people with no previous experience, but as it contains not only general guidelines but also specific tips and tools, I think it will also be useful to more advanced readers.
Thanks to the publisher, Greenleaf Book Group, and NetGalley for an advanced copy of this book.
