I was not expecting the end! I love all freida books! I just got into reading a year ago my first choice of a book was the locked door. Best choice ever to get me into the love of books.

Addie is a young girl who has a problem. The year before, she was befriended by a teacher. Although both she and the teacher claim nothing happened, the rest of the community has formed their opinion. The popular teacher is fired. Because of that, Addie is destined to be unpopular. In fact, the most popular girl in the school has taken it upon herself to make Addie's life miserable. To make it worse, her childhood friend has deserted her and now is the boyfriend of the popular girl.
Eve is a teacher. She's married to another teacher, Nate. On the surface, they have a great life. Nate is good-looking and popular with the students. Eve is not as popular as she's a bit more of a tough nut in the classroom. But, hey, she's married to a good-looking and popular guy. But their marriage isn't going well. Nate seems to be losing interest in Eve.
Addie is falling for her teacher, Nate. And he seems to be quite interested in her. On the other hand, Eve is having an affair. Is there a sinister motivation to Nate's interest in Addie? Is Eve's life in jeopardy? In this tightly-woven story, the reader is kept guessing. The plot is well-developed. The ending is unpredictable and startling. I highly recommend this book.

Frieda gets me EVERY TIME. As a teacher, I was so excited to read this book! Frieda's books always keep me on my toes and I never can keep up with or predict all of the twists in her masterful story-weaving. Such a fun read! Definitely leave your day open so you can binge the whole thing in one sitting!

This book was good! I did not see that twist coming. Which isn’t shocking considering Freida is the author. The twist and turns in this book, along with her others can not. Be seen.

Freida McFadden is definitely one of my favorite authors. I always enjoy her books, but this one was one of my least favorites. The plot and story line was good, however; it was triggering. The relationship with the teacher and student(s) (manipulation + escapades) was triggering for me. There's always a great plot twist at the end, prepare to be surprised.

I was excited to read this book, and while it lived up to the fast-paced, twisty storyline, I was disappointed with some of the content. Student/Teacher relationships are messy and not really something I prefer to read about, but overall it kept my interest and the twists were indeed a surprise (especially at the end). Several situations seemed too far-fetched and unbelievable, but I’d still give the book 4 stars overall.

This book has many twists and turns. This is a story about revenge and keeps you guessing until the end. Nate keeps repeating a pattern of behavior, thinking he is special and all women are attracted to him. Unfortunately, they are high school girls.

My first book by Freida wasn’t my favorite but the twists and turns were fun. I plan to read more of her books because I can’t resist a thriller!

This book had me on my toes 😮💨😮💨😮💨😮💨 How to write this review without so many expletives because that last chapter got me messed uppppp 🤣🤣🤣🫨🫨
There was like 8 twists in here and when I thought it was all done there was one final one that literally had my jaw to the floor and me clutching my kindle for dear life 🤣🤣 I love this book and every book I have read by her. Keep a open mind and enjoy yall
Yes I recommend, 10/10, read it, then message me for moral support 🫶🏾🫶🏾🫶🏾🫶🏾

The Teacher is now one of my favorite books from Frieda McFadden because of the thriller/gore aspect of this book. Highly recommend if you want more thriller I turn people to this book!

This book was so good. Definitely did not expect the ending. I had to scrape my jaw off the floor! I read this book in 2 sittings and it only took that long because I had to work. I never want Freida to stop writing books!

Frieda McFadden does it again. I never expected the twist at the end of this book. It kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time wondering what would happen next.

I'm a fan of Freida's addictive page turning thrillers, this must have been my sixth one! It was yet another highly addictive, fast paced story that kept me on the edge of my seat! I had no idea where this was going, in some of her others I felt like the plot twists were more predictable, but this one was interesting! Always recommend Freida to someone wanting a quick read or are wanting to start reading thrillers.

Loved it! Love frieda! Keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole time! Twist and turns on every page. And Noone us who you think they are.

Freida McFadden is my favorite mystery author. With that being said, this was my least favorite of her books. It still had all of the twists and turns that I enjoy in a thriller, but I couldn't get past the teacher-student relationship. I'm sure some people have no problem reading that, given that it's fiction, but personally I wouldn't have read the book had I known that was an aspect of it.

This was insane. So easy to read and get into and very hard to put down. When I got to the end my jaw literally dropped like I just did not see it coming.

This was ridiculously f'd up and not realistic in the slightest, but dear lord was I hooked from the very beginning. Was it like watching a train wreck? Perhaps, but it was so messy in the best possible way. I don't think this one went in as many off the wall directions as the Housemaid did, which in some ways I think made it a better, tighter book? I'm talking myself into a 5 star here...

The ending of this book shook me to my core. Never in a million years did I see this coming. WHAT DID I JUST READ?

I love all of Freida McFadden books! I loved this book and the relationship! I love the mystery and I did enjoy the twists and turns. This one did disappoint. It was mind blowing! I had a great time and would recommend to anyone who loves a thriller.

This was my first Freida McFadden book and I was interested to see why she is so popular. I feel like she might be this year’s Colleen Hoover. The only thing that I liked about this is that it was over quickly. There was so much going on with the plot, much of it implausible and very disturbing. It wasn’t the worst book I’ve ever read, but it doesn’t make me want to quickly read another.
